Amber was delightful! First time in the shop today, welcomed with perfect Southern hospitality, offered beverage while I waited briefly for my stylist (I was early,) and truly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and decor in the shop. Amber introduced herself with a smile and sparkle in her eyes when she met me at reception and led me to her station. Amber gave me the opportunity to chat with her about what I thought I'd like, offered suggestions, and we decided together. The finished product was just what I'd asked for! Perfection! Rizos is a positive experience from the time you walk in the door until you gladly pay your bill satisfied by a job well done. The staff is always amazing, and you can tell by the quality of company they keep; this place is down to earth, grounded, and real. So many Hair Studios/Salons seems like they're trying to hard to be something they're not. Rizos is a wonderfully comfortable setting, with non judgmental clients, and staff. It is set in the heart of beautiful downtown Watkinsville, Ga. They are always kid family friendly, and go above and beyond to make certain they are accommodating your every need. I don't let anyone else touch my families hair now that I have found the Rizos family. I hate going to an establishment where you feel like there is a good bit of snobbery going on behind your back while you're trying to get a hair cut. Often times the bad attitudes they keep totally reflects the overall work ethic of a place. I also don't want to feel that I am trying to be pressured into something I don't want, by a salon that also looks like a retail outlet on botox! This seems to be a recurring theme in some of the other establishments in the area. Please don't get trapped putting your faith, and hard earned cash in a place that feels like a reality show with an identity crisis. Unless of course you feel right at home in one of those places; in which case Rizos may not be right for you. If that is you then you should just take your terra on back to the house, and when you're ready to make a positive intelligent adult decision; come on back downtown to Rizos.
