I recently saw a negative review supposedly written from google review by a so-called doctor, who harshly criticized the shop for offering a low price for gold. It's shameful for someone with such a background to use his voice to curse a small business owner who is simply trying to earn a living. Is it really appropriate to make such hurtful statements? From my understanding of the jewelry market, buyback prices are typically lower than the market rate due to various costs. I simply asked about the buyback price for a ring and was offered around 20% of the original price, which is completely normal in the industry. Carol runs this shop by herself, and she deserves support, not disparagement. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and there's even an adorable, chubby dog that made my visit even more pleasant. I figured it would be sometime in the future, but she told me that I could bring it right then. It was almost their closing time, and she told me that they would wait for me to get there. I arrived right at closing and dropped off my watch, they were extremely friendly and explained the pricing, which I found reasonable. To my surprise, I received an email two hours later, hours after they closed, explaining that my watch had several aftermarket parts that I was unaware of. When I picked it up, they explained in great detail all the issues they found, which prevented them from working on it. I called the dealer I bought it from, and they gave me a replacement watch, fortunately. I would have never known the issues with my watch and had the opportunity to exchange it, if not for Southeastern Service Center. To top it off, they didn't even charge me. There are still great people, and great businesses, in this world. This is absolutely one of them!!
