They didn't charge me for anything but they lied to me and told me they checked on recalls on my car they said I dint have any... I called myself today and checked I have 6 recalls including my engine...why would they lie??? I don't know but I will never trust or recommend them... if they were too busy they should have just told me they were too busy instead of lieing.. read more

Highly recommended!! HONEST!!! Extremely nice and considerate owner and staff. Although my car was so badly rusted it is beyond repair and they showed me every rusted out part and warned it was not safe to drive and told me it is too expensive to repair. My daughter takes her car here. She says RJ is fair honest and friendly. She does say that he has a thick accent and is somewhat difficult to understand at times , but produces paper documents to back up the issues with the car. I can't believe nobody has reviewed this yet. Best mechanics in the area, hands down. My friend recommended them to me and he was spot on. These guys are like having 2 buddies who work on cars. They show you what they did, tell you what your car needs and what can wait. They don't mind researching options for aftermarket parts or installing ones you bring in. Just awesome. I'm new to the area, and it was time for my truck to get an oil change. I thought about taking it to a name brand place to get it done, but realized it's probably a better idea to take it to a locally owned business. Who knows, I may need a mechanic I can trust in the future. So I decided I'd give RJ Auto a chance. I called this past Monday to see if they take same day service oil changes. Unfortunately they don't, but he said I can make a future appointment. So I scheduled it for today at 4:30pm. When I showed up today at 4:15ish, there was a car in the garage. I thought I may be waiting a while. As soon as I walked into the garage and said I was here for a 4:30 oil change. He gladly took my keys, removed the car from the garage and brought my truck right in. He started to work on it immediately. While waiting I realized this was his own private shop. He does all the work himself. Also while waiting, a few customers came in to pay for the work done on their cars. So he stopped what he was doing on my truck and took care of them. He ran the entire garage himself. Even though he may have stopped working on my truck to help the other customers, it didn't bother me a bit. I quickly realized this guy is definitely a hard working man trying to make an honest living, that will do what's in your best interest for your car, and seems to be a solid mechanic. I was out of there by 5pm. I plan on coming back for future oil changes, and (hopefully not) other mechanical issues. read more
