Also, on the way back from my pickup, my battery light was blinking on my dash and I feared the worst , that my alternator was shot. KC Tire was just closing up shop for the day, it was late, 6pm, but they saw that I was stressed and once again sprung into action, they tested my alternator, saw that it was still working fine, and that really put my mind at ease. But the tricky part was when it was time for the bill The guy spent 20 minutes diagnosing the problem, 30 minutes waiting on the part and 20 minutes putting it back on the truck. I got billed for 3 hours. The cashier stated they have a 3 hour in shop minimum for all repairs so no matter if you have a windshield wiper or a loose lug nut it is a 3 hour minimum in shop. And I was lucky that I didn't have a check engine light because it is a 4 hour minimum on a check engine light. He was mighty poud of their gouging.
