This is a tourist town on the the of nowhere just outside a national park. You have to grade on a curve. Honestly the selection here is impressive, you've got just about everything you need to stock your RV or vacation cabin, and at prices that aren't bad. For context we geared lack of selection up here and bought our groceries in Visalia, where's there's not a "regular" grocery store. We could have saved time and just shopped here. Even for the beer and wine. We went a few times and everyone was really nice, helps to live in a beautiful place! read more

Warning - Prices are double a normal store, and not listed on their alcohol. Quite the rip off if I do say so myself, and the cashier had zero personal skills. $20 for a 6 pack of Mango Cart $25 for 1 LaMarca Champagne bottle $29 for a 12pk of Truly Seltzers $29 for a 10pk of General Sherman IPAs YIKES! All people in our party were pissed and said they will also not return. read more

Fair amount of pre-prepped food to-go options. Surprised to see they had Pressed Juicery bottles. Normally don't order BBQ in general, but theirs at the back counter was delicious. We didn't ask about extra sauce, so not sure if they have that or if you'd need to commit to a whole bottle in the market. read more

For groceries in a very small town, this is better than we expected. The prices are still more expensive than average and limited, but compared to other places nearby, this is impressive. The produce is fresh, they even have a fresh squeezed OJ on demand. Service is fine, nothing exceptional but kind and helpful. read more

Fresh Orange Juice Machine is a must have while exploring Three Rivers don't miss out ! They also have a fresh water fill station for all your water jugs 1gal-5gal stay hydrated!. Great parking lot with lots of great business around like Casa Mendoza, Kaweah Coffee Roasters, and are local post office. read more

Perfect place for meat, alcohol, or any other small goods! This place, as others have indicated is one of the better markets in the sequoia park area. I came here to pick up some meat to bbq in my Airbnb and it was perfect! They have raw meat but also already cooked meats as well. I got the ribeye at $16/pound and it was a really good quality. They also have chicken, pastrami, New York cuts, and many more. They also carry small general necessities, milk, chips, soda, water, fruits, canned goods, bbq sauce, etc. The alcohol selection absolutely blew me away! Beers or all kinds, wine of all kinds, and so many choices of hard liquor. All moderately priced as well. There was some really high shelf items too, a 2010 Dom Perignon, 18 year Mccallen, I was impressed. There was also a small section for baked good. I didn't get anything but it was really popular. Almost everybody was walking out with a whole pie or cupcakes. The only downside to this market is the price of the produce. But it's understandable as the products spoil and don't last as long. I still did get some portabella mushrooms to grill and some broccoli. Check this place out if you're staying in the area for sequoia. Perfect for camping needs, quick dinner, or even alcohol binges! read more

Nice market but when the man at the meat counter didn't even pretend to own a mask along with another employee he was chatting with 2' from her face, I turned around and walked out. Little market with a variety of things. They offer hot foods and that's why we came here. We picked up a whole tri tip for dinner with the family during our stay at the comfort Inn. We asked if they could slice it for us since we are staying at the hotel. The gentleman at the counter sliced it nicely. We also picked up one of the salad kits and desert. We had a nice meal for a family of 4 for less that we would have spent at any restaurant. The tri tip was perfectly cooked. It was flavorful and tender. Located I'm Three Rivers city, I didn't expect much from this market when I arrived. Surprisingly though, it's a great market. They have a good variety of beers, craft and the standard beers. There was good selection of fresh produce; looked like there was a deli in the back, and a variety of ice creams and pastries. Also very important for the Outdoors people here, they carry wood bundles @$9.99. These are good-sized bundles in my opinion. The Village Market is basically a convenient store grocery store all rolled into one with reasonable prices. Come check it out when you're in the area. read more

There are several places to buy groceries in this small town. I think this is one of the bigger options. There's a meat counter and a bakery counter. Small selection of vegetables and frozen food. Be warned, pricing is on the high side but it's better than driving more than 30 mins to Visalia. read more

First thing first, their price point is really not cheap which is also understandable: 1. supply/demand. 2. as I am sure since they are in the almost middle of no where. This grocery store is well-stocked with camping food and has an incredibly large amount of beer and liquor options. Good souvenir choices too. And I LOVE their bakery. Once you've looked through the glass display, get in line for checkout and let your helper know what you'd like. The service here is great! read more

Great selection of items, I was pleasantly surprised as we arrived on Christmas Eve and I honestly didn't expect much to be open or available! :) prices were pretty steep on most things, but hey...we pay for convenience, right ‍ the COOLEST thing about this place that I really loved was the fresh press OJ machine! I had fresh OJ every morning that we were in town and even got a larger one to take on the road with me! Great little market. Has a supple of anything you would want especially alcohol. Never seen such an array of alcohol. Now for management they need to keep their arguments behind closed doors. They get really loud on the phones. Need better management! Employees:. The lady at the cash register in the mornings is unfriendly, lazy. Management needs to give her more work. Doesn't seem to do anything but check you out. Everything lands on the skinny blonde girl that works her butt off. She needs HELP, they have her doing everything. Management doesn't even help her. They seem to expect her to run the whole store which she does at times. Hope she is paid well. Apparently she is the only one there most of the time during the day. She treats customers like they are family. Barbecue is great. Good job. Sure miss the home made cookies they use to have. read more

My review is mostly for the cashier and her service. She was not properly trained on currency. She declined to take my $100 bill because it didn't have a stripe? However the bill is older and it won't have a stripe sweetie. She did check the bill put it over her face and under the light but her ignorance and not being informed that old bills do not come with a stripe didn't allow her to take the money so she tried to send me across the street to the bank and change it for $20. Ok lady. My friend ended up paying because she has $20s. Btw her racist is showing every time she was looking at me up and down like she never seen a fine ass women walk in her presence. read more

Prices were pretty reasonable and they had a pretty good inventory. They were out of stock on cold medicine, but had plenty of "Bonnie" for motion sickness, which you might need if heading up to Sequoia. The roads are very winding. The staff could have been friendlier, which is the main reason I only gave 4 stars. read more

Expensive. Almost $5 for Ritz crackers? Oh well, they have a captive market. Good selection of chips and soda, and also some other essentials. I ended up only buying water due to whatever the tap water problem is in Three Rivers (I still don't understand). This market seems like it's there for convenience -- visitors use it because it's right where they are and locals might use it if they don't want to trek into town for something. Also open fairly late, which is nice. And by late, I mean I was there at 8pm on Saturday... 2017: 72/100 read more

I have been shopping at this store from time to time after I became a resident of three Rivers. I live and work in the Sequoia National Park so it's convenient. The employees here are all very helpful and nice. There are 2 in particular that stand out. For the life of me I can't remember her name. She has long brown straight hair. The other is Amber. She is very friendly and helpful. I will be moving to Colorado in the near future and will truly miss the town and these 2 wonderful employees. Jeff read more

This was a convenience type store across the street from our hotel. The staff were all very friendly and the place has a good variety of goods. We visited on Sunday so we had a chance of tasting the BBQ there too. I will definitely go back and shop there. read more

Purchase (2) babyback ribs (1/2) rack spareribs later it was obvious they had cut off the (4) biggest ribs with meat on them. I asked for a tri tip medium rare and later when opening the foil bags found it to be past well done almost like jerky. The ribs were from the previous day but I have always enjoyed their ribs and tri tip. I called to discuss the problem but was treated in a non professional manor. I keep the ribs and tri tip to show them but they didn't care or or even comprise. I thought of giving the ribs and tri tip to the homeless but I thought it would not be a good ideal. the Three Rivers Village Market use to be a great place to buy Bbq. We had stopped in the Village Market for supplies since we were staying in a lodge up the hill. They have everything you could possibly need. Considering how remote the location is, this is incredible! I'm not sure why there are a lot of negative reviews over COVID compliance. Whenever we went in everyone was masked up. People were practicing social distance. They have fruit and vegetables, ready made sandwiches and a nice liquor section. There was a good selection of food. We ended up coming in every day we were in town. read more

Pandemic specific review: it was my first time in the area & to Village Market. The selection, pricing & service was all good. However, staff was not wearing masks even though it's currently required throughout the state of California -- plus most patrons were also not wearing masks and there didn't seem to be any expectation that they do. Fortunately, it wasn't very crowded during my two trips there so I was able to maintain distance. read more

Everything in that store is literally triple the price, but I understand why because it is a very small and beautiful town. However the Olivia skinny looking as bitch cashier seriously has a raise issue not to mention her attitude. The rest of the people working there were cool and polite. read more

For a small town, this market has lots of stuff, including tasty barbecue made on premesis! I had the smoked beef ribs and they were excellent. It didn't have quite everything a big-city supermarket would have, but it was much better than excepted. Also, it was pleasantly cool, clean and the people were helpful. I was looking to buy just 6 eggs. There were no such cartons, so the butcher just cut a dozen-pack in half. Prices were as good, if not cheaper, than what you would see at your local supermarket read more

But it's mostly a lot of brush and foliage surrounding the patio.

Came here with the hubby for a weekend getaway. We should have bought our food out of town, but didnt because we didnt want it to spoil in the car on the drive up. This place has friendly people with expired food!! Our meat from the freezer was expired, our cookies, lemonade, strawberries were moldy, cereal... I know it sounds unbelievable but believe it. It just goes to show how very slowly their products get moved in there. Focus on your stock Village Market! Not cool! read more

You can catch the shuttle or if you're gung-ho you can hike to Lodgepole. We drove! One of the visits I went by myself to shower and have lunch. I was hoping to have ice cream too but I got full. I selected a ready made sandwich, side order of pasta salad and a bottled drink. I paid for my items at a self check out. It's also where you order your food. This is a very, very, very busy Market! Parking is no joke, have your patience. This parking area not only caters the the Market & Grill. The visitors museum is located next door and just outside the Market around the corner are coin operated showers! I have used these showers. There are about 6 shower stalls. In this same room are only two bathroom stalls. But just outside this room is a bathroom too. I've come to the restroom twice and they happened to be cleaning it at around the same time. Cleaning took around 20-25 mins. A line for the shower was forming behind me in the mean time. Back to the Market & Grill. My sandwich was good enough. It was better once I added condiments. The pasta salad was good enough too. A table luckily became available to sit at. I didn't want to sit outside in the heat after taking a shower. Adjacent to the Grill is the market part. Plenty of souvenirs of all kinds, camping accessories in case you forgot something. Ice is also available. A variety of snacks, drinks and even wine. Great place to grab a meal, shower or snacks. You can get to a lot of adventuring from this particular area of the park, and you can load up the supplies, including a nice breakfast burrito, before you get out there hit the trails. The staff is always pleasant, the self checkout kiosk are easy Peezy to use, the stores always immaculately kept, and there's always plenty in stock.

The customer service was great. No complaints. This store is definitely an older store. The ambiance is giving late 80's early to mid 90's as far as it being a store but I'm sure it's older. There is plenty of food to shop for. Although the other prices might be cheaper at Walmart. It's always good to support your small neighborhood businesses. Do I recommend? Yes. Will I return? Yes.

It is, however, a quick way to grab a few basic items, such as milk, eggs, bread, veggies when you are in a hurry and don't want to wade through a big store like Winco. Forgot an item at Winco? Pick it up at Aldi in a fraction of the time. I have found several items at Aldi that I go there specifically to pick up, such as their "fresh, never frozen" salmon, the cracker cut cheddar and Gouda cheese, the hothouse cucumbers ( always under a dollar), the ground chicken which is half the price t Winco. And the seasonal products are fun to browse rough, especially at Christmas when they bring in European chocolates and cookies. It isn't full service, but it has some terrific offerings. A friend swears that their frozen cod fillets make the best fried fish (and chips) than anything you can get at a restaurant. She goes there for the cod and the chayote, which is always the cheapest in town, when they have it! As for the employees, I have always found them when I needed them, and they have always assisted me. As for self-checkout, easy, quick, and when I make a mistake, the employee at the register fixes it without me asking.

The petting zoo was the most intriguing to me. Most of the animals were excited to be fed while others were just hanging out in the shade. Their enclosures looked a little small for them though. There was only one rabbit who was hiding away in their little house. It looked like it could use some grass to hop around in. I wish the hand sanitizer dispensers were filled. Every single one was empty, but I eventually found the restroom to wash off. I noticed there's a dog park here too. I'm hoping I could come back here with my dog during our next road trip. I'm sure he'd enjoy this change of scenery.

I would definitely go back to eat the ice cream, but then when I think of the place, I can't help to think about the poor animals so I don't think I'll go back
