When my husband and I left the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, we needed a ride to our hotel. I had considered using my phone to request a ride from Uber or Lyft, but I noticed several taxis waiting nearby, so I decided to use the first taxi, which said "Sunshine" on the side. The taxi driver helped my husband and me to put our two suitcases in the back of the van. My husband and I used one door to climb into the back seat. The driver began to drive away, but I noticed that my seatbelt was stuck inside the other door, so we repeatedly asked the driver to stop driving. He stopped driving, and he opened the door so I could pull the seatbelt out. The driver did not wear his seatbelt. The interior of the van looked like it had a worn condition, particularly for the seats and seatbelts. According to my Google Maps app on my cell phone, this driver drove us directly to our hotel. He did not take any meandering route. At the hotel, he removed our suitcases from the back of his vehicle. According to the screen inside the van, the cost for the ride was $19-something (I forget the exact cents), but the driver told us outside that the cost was $20-something. My husband did not want to use the credit-card machine inside the vehicle, because he felt concerned about skimming. He had only 20-dollar bills, and he did not want to give over a 100% tip, so he asked the driver for a $10 bill in change. The driver made a face but did hand over the $10 in change. I think that a $10 tip for a $19-something ride is a good tip, so I would have preferred that the driver not make a face.

Said location , which was close but not walkable and no shuttle at arrival time. Taxi stand manager gave us to a canoe who when we said location , started cussing and saying " Take the ducking shuttle" " who the fuck takes a can" and on and on-ignited my request to pull over while still at airport, started raging at all drivers, driving erratic. He turned the iPad away from us so we couldn't see the fare meter . When got to hotel he said charge was $20 , wouldn't show the meter then finally did and it was $15. Husband gave 20 $bill demanded charge. Said no tip to which the rudest driver ever shouted " I dont need this " and sped away. Complaint filed but not a lot of customer service at customer service. Avoid cabbie 354!!!

Can driver says $150. I thought it was a lot and I asked to see meter. Them he says "ok lets do $120 cash". I said, let me see the meter please as Im oaying with credit card. He argued with me saying "Cmon man help me out...blah blah blah.". I asked to see meter again. Meter is $79. He tried to charge me $71 over what the meter was. I wonder how many people he has done this with. Im considering filing a consumer fraud lawsuit against this company just out of principle.

In March 2026, after my flight had landed at Miami International Airport, I requested an Uber ride through my phone app. Unfortunately, the driver drove to another part of the airport, despite my standing at the correct spot, messaging him the name of a nearby sign, and his seeing my blue dot on his screen. Eventually, he found me. The ride took 28 minutes, and it cost $33 plus a tip. The driver did make courteous conversation, drive safely, and did not give me a low rating.

We used Uber primarily for a few reasons: 1. My wife gets $15/month + $20 extra in December in Uber credits as the primary on an American Express Platinum Card. 2. She's an Uber One member (full $120 membership cost credited by Amex). 3. We both earn Delta SkyMiles by riding with Uber. I ended up calling multiple Ubers despite not having the first two benefits listed above. Prices were reasonable with trips ranging from $16.93 to $30.95 after tip. I noticed coming from the airport, I was charged $0.66 for the "Dolphin Expressway SR836 - 17th Ave. Eastbound" (standard SunPass rate) and a $2.00 "MIA Airport Surcharge."

I…read morealmost feel bad for giving those businesses a one star because they all are way above this company in terms of customer service. It was a scary and uneasy ride home from the FLL airport. Our driver said pretty much nothing ro us. I am not sure if he was in a bad mood or did not speak English well. He was not following our directions to where he was supposed to go. We told him in advance and he ignored us. He drove out of the way and said "Wait" when we told him he missed the exit off 595. Time to pay and I could not wait to get out of his cab. I attempted to pay for the ride with my credit card. He starts screaming..."No!!!". Why not? Because he has to pay the credit card company $1.50 fee or so? That is what the machine is for. He demanded I pay him caah. Fine. Anything to get away from this awful driver. I paid him what the meter said and he said "Where is my tip?" I told him he is not getting one. He proceeds to bear hug one of our pieces of luggage and does not let go. I was praying a cop would drive by but no such luck. I told him I was going to call the police (even though I did not have my phone with me) He told me to go ahead. Finally, he let go of the luggage when I started grabbing for it. I could npt believe this man was employed as a driver. I called the company and they did not say much about it. A manager just said "Wow"..."Wow".... No more taxi rides for either of us. We will rent a car if we are without our phones to use Uber or Lyft. Do not use this company!!!!!!

Unfortunately, neither of us brought our cell phones so could not use Uber or Lyft. This cab driver number 814 was all over the road and did not get into the correct Lane on 595. He would not get into the exit lane when told to. He took us out of our way when we repeatedly told him in advance over and over to get into the correct lane. He seemed like a very angry person. Honestly, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. I did not want him to know where I live so I had him drop us off at the beginning of my neighborhood. My daughter went to pay for the cab ride with a credit card. He starts screaming no. She said why not? There was no not working sign on it. This person did not speak the whole ride, just grunted. He seemed to be getting annoyed that we were telling him where to go. Is that not a cab drivers occupation? Finally, she paid him in cash. He demanded a tip. No way. Because there was no way on this planet he would get a tip, he runs out of the vehicle after being paid the full amount and tries to stop us from taking our luggage. Of course, he does not take it out like most cab drivers do, in fact, all cab drivers that I have dealt with in my entire life. He puts his arms around the biggest suitcase and tries to prevent my daughter from taking it from the trunk. Again, he was paid in full for the ride. This ride was more than it should have been anyhow. This person took advantage because he saw two women. He figured he could get away with charging more and driving out of the way. Well, management doesn't seem to care very much. My daughter called them right away and the manager said Wow. Over and over. He said Wow. I'm trying to put this out of my head because we took a lot of cab rides on this trip being in different cities and all those cab drivers were nothing but pleasant. This person should not be dealing with the public.
