I am also no stranger to markets in places like Chinatown in SFO so I have realistic expectations. However I was not too thrilled looking at the cleanliness of the cooler cases or the way the more unusual meats were set out for sale. The interior was cold enough I guess but it could have been cleaner. The meat smelled fresh though and the staff was helpful prices were good. Overall ok but I think I will stick to a few others in Eastern Market for my meats.

Honestly, I can't remember having seafood that tasted this fresh in Michigan. This was the first time I really enjoyed crawfish.
