I was not in the market for a new vehicle. My daughter in law needed to drop something off to my son. We pulled into the parking lot and a truck caught my eye. "Hello Beautiful!" Throughout the day, I couldn't get that truck out of my head. I spoke with my son, Tom. I wanted to explore all my options. He and Wes worked with me over the phone, making suggestions and giving my all the information I requested. I spent a day watching reviews of different vehicles, trying to compare apple to apples. In the end, I wanted the orange! I made it back to the dealership a few days later. With Tom by my side and Wes assisting, I sat down with Macho and Steve and a deal was made. I was texting Sharmaine (who is listed as part of management) all morning about a specific vehicle. She asked if I could come into the dealership that day, so my husband and I made the 45 min trip there. When we got there we were greeted by someone else who knew my name and that I was coming. I asked about the car I was interested in and was told it was on hold. So I asked if it was just sold or "on hold" just this morning, my answer was NO, it was put on hold the previous day. So they asked me to come to them knowing the vehicle I was looking for was not available. They had nothing else even comparable to offer. No apologies or reasoning for their actions. Had my car serviced there in December 2023. Same issues occurred in August 2024, took it back to the dealership to have them see why it was not working again. Paid a few hundred dollars to have it repaired in December and now they found a bunch of things wrong that totals thousands of dollars. I was bringing it back for the same exact problem as the first time but miraculously several other issues costing thousands of dollars appeared over the last few months. Not sure why these items weren't found in December, only after returning it for the same failure did they find these problems. Removed my car from the premise without having them touch it. Because they found additional items however I did have to pay the $165 diagnostic fee. Will never take a car there again. read more

I've been to this dealership 2 times and have waited over 9 hours in total for a backup camera replacement. They have ordered the wrong part TWICE. The last time I was in they told me the new part they are ordering was on back order and they wouldn't know when it would come in. I've had this truck for 2 months with no backup camera (it was a CPO). They also tried to charge me for a warrantied service. read more

Called RK today to inquire about a Chevrolet Colorado they have listed on their website. They advised they have three "in-transit" to the dealership. Prior to making an appointment, I asked if they are "up charging" for any of their trucks. The sales person reluctantly advised that RK is marking up some of their trucks by 10% OVER the MSRP. (including the Colorado) I have been watching the RK commercials over the past several months talk about "family owned and operated" and "best deals in the business". I guess this includes price gouging their customers to drain another 10% out of them? Shame. BTW: RK and Mall Chevrolet are pretty much the only negative reviews I have ever written. In todays market, I can understand retailers trying to get full MSRP. But, inflating car prices by an additional 10% over MSRP, hoping that someone gets caught up in the moment of the new car buying excitement, full well knowing they will be financing a car that the new owner will take a bath on in a year or two, is just wrong. read more

Over 2 hours for a scheduled oil change and tried to charge me 95 dollars to plug a slow leak. Then I get in my vehicle and the oil change wasn't even done. I addressed the issue with the service manager and he took care of it quickly and made it right. read more

When I went to pick up my vehicle and was given this astronomical bill I told them the price I was given, and they refused to honor their mistake. Worst service to deal with. I thought I have found a reliable and honest dealer for my vehicle. Word of advice- STAY AWAY!! The sales was smooth enough (6 hours at the dealership) and the salesman Joe even mentioned how they could get a push button start installed on my Silverado that i had at home. So after our sale, I setup an appointment two weeks out. Took off work, drove an hour only to find out THEY DON'T DO IT! I immediately call the salesman, of course he denies saying it, says it was "miscommunication" and said he will have to check with service cause he can't give service advice. Then how about you don't give advice during the sale either. My wife heard the entire conversation as well. Also, after the sale, they don't care about you at all. I'm going to find another Chevy dealer for service and sales for our family. If you are reading this, I suggest you do the same!! read more

Their whole mentality is that they are doing you a favor by allowing you to do business with them. The service writer that I have had two encounters with (ok, I'm a slow learner) is either an idiot or a liar. Brought my new truck in because it would occasionally not start due to a dead battery. His response was that "it's cold outside". A: The low that night was 35. B: My truck is kept in a heated garage. Second encounter - they quoted me a price for parts for my truck and when I received the bill it was higher. In spite of the fact that I had their quote in writing they would not honor the price. I am currently suing them in small claims court. What else can I say? read more

This was one of many dealers I went to looking for a new truck. When I showed up the overweight salesmen were sitting on the ground smoking cigarettes. I made very clear to the salesman what I could afford for a monthly payment, and he came back to me with a quote that was 2 times as much. But this Chevrolet dealership is the worst in New Jersey they are dishonest and the service department does not do a very good job at taking care of their warranted vehicles. I do not recommend them, I would rather travel out of town and buy a Chevy elsewhere. Just came back from service on my husbands 2016 Chevy Colorado. Dan at the service desk was very helpful, but I had asked service if they could please attach our NJ license plate due to the fact we purchased the vehicle in Florida and now live in Vineland. But I was given a price of 113.00 to attach a license plate....outrageous. Dan had even gone as far asking his supervisor if he could bolt the license plate to the bumper but was told no. Obviously, it's all about money. 113.00 to attach a plate? Remember RK it's all about referrals.....my husband is a disabled senior citizen and you are a Chevy dealer... I love my Chevy and I'm glad my dad and boyfriend are good with cars and can fix almost any problems I have. I had to take my car here for an ignition recall and the guys there talked to me like I was a helpless girl and assumed I knew nothing about cars. They tried to trick me into getting my cabin air filter changed for $80 and were floored when I told them id buy the part and do it myself! And I did. I went to autozone bought the $13 part and replaced it in 5 mins... Don't mess with a girl who knows her stuff. They are RUDE. read more

E-mailed several dealerships with exact specs that my wife and I wanted, and the price and terms I was willing to pay. RK came through. Test drive and delivery went smoothly. Just had our first service appointment. Again, it was quick and easy. Service writers were friendly and had the paperwork ready. Customer lounge was well-equipped. Can't ask for more. read more

Poor service. I purchased a car from them years ago and had a terrible experience with repairs it was always a runaround. Made appointments for repairs, showed up on time but they had no idea why I was even there. We gave them a second chance.. my wife leased a car from them. Months before it was time to turn it in we received several calls a week trying to get us to re lease or buy the car out of the lease. We were told we had to bring the car in for an assessment 6 weeks before the lease ended. Made an appointment and again showed up and waited 30mins just to be told they don't do assessments. Very disappointed and will absolutely not business with them in the future. Cannot honestly recommend this dealer to anyone. read more

He was not there when I arrived so James Bluestone spent an hour copying my registration , collecting financials and payoffs on trade in . The absolute worst service I have ever experienced. First off Rude. The other guy was right they act like they are doing you a favor handling recalls. I mad an appointment for 9 am sat am which they told me was opening time. They said they had parts in stock to replace broken door handle and recall would take just an hour. I came in and they said I never made an appt and parts needed to be ordered after I waited an hour. I have them a second chance and came in 8 am when they really open the next Saturday . They had to reprogram my radio and replace handle, it is 12:15 now and I am still waiting after at ten o clock they told me it would be a few seconds. They were also belligerent and rude about telling me where to park. F$&! This place I will never buy a car from any of there three dealerships in vineland or have service here I'd rather drive another hour out the way. read more

Purchased a new vehicle in 2015 and to date our experience and interface with all the personnel including the voice receptionist, sales agent, sales manager, and service department personnel has been very good. Chevrolet service and warranty work was completed as stated when we purchased the vehicle. Getting service appointments was easy by phone or on-line and if needed they provide a shuttle service. The service manager was always willing to take the time to answer any questions. We are entering a new phase now that the bumper to bumper warranty is expiring; to date, we have not had mechanical issues that required major service work. read more

This was the single worst car-buying experience I've ever had. I went in looking to trade my car in and purchase 2 new ones. I was met by a salesperson named Joe. I explained to him my situation and my specific needs - one car needed to be safe and big enough to be a family car, the other needed to have room in the back for 2 dog crates and needed to have Bluetooth capability as I'm on the road quite a bit. I ended up with a new Malibu (family car) and a used Traverse ("dog car"). It wasn't until after I got the Traverse home that I found out that it didn't, in fact, have Bluetooth capability - so I had to go to a third party Bluetooth device, which sucks as it isn't integrated. I also didn't receive the vehicle in the condition I was promised. I was shown the Traverse before it went in for detailing. I was promised it would take 1 day to detail and then it would be delivered to me. It actually ended up taking 3 days and I had to go pick it up. I was promised that detailing would remove the dents and dings and scratches from the former owner. This never happened - I received the car with all of the external flaws it had when I saw it before detailing. The car also had a TERRIBLE smell that took me WEEKS to get rid of. I made two different service managers aware of the problem and, although I got an insincere "we're sorry" from one of them, neither of them offered to actually take the car back and make the problem of the crappy detailing right. The actual purchasing experience at the dealership was awful. It took over THREE HOURS from the time Joe and I agreed on the deal for me to even walk into the finance manager's office to start signing paperwork. I sat there for three hours while people walked in and out, while the finance manager took his lunch break (according to Joe), through numerous cigarette breaks, etc. It was absolutely awful. It turned what could have been a decent amount of time into an excessive waste. Then the finance manager didn't actually pay off the loan for my traded in vehicle. I called and spoke with 4 different "managers" at the dealership and asked them to pay Nissan off for my old car. It took over SIX WEEKS for them to actually pay off the loan - and cost me a negative "late payment" mark on my credit report in the meantime. I had to call, INSIST on talking to the dealership manager, and then threaten to show up and stage a sit-in at the dealership before they actually sent the next-day check to Nissan. The terms of my warranties were not what were represented by the salesperson, either. I'm not sure if the blame for this belongs on the finance manager or on the salesperson, but it was a crappy surprise while I was sitting there signing away tens of thousands for two vehicles. The DMV work wasn't completed in a timely manner, either. Both vehicles were driving around on expired temp tags before we actually got our license plates. I got pulled over once for it, but luckily the police officer was understanding and didn't issue a ticket. The day they had our second tag ready, my wife ended up waiting in the dealership for over TWO HOURS before they actually put the plate on the car for her.. which was a bonus, because with the first one, they just handed us the plates to put on ourselves (not a huge deal, but not great service in my opinion, either). The one "mixed" part of this review I can give has to do with maintenance. Twice in the first 30 days that I had the Traverse, the Check Engine Light came on. Both times, the vehicle was fixed in a fairly timely manner (2ish days). I'm a little ticked that the problems weren't found when the vehicle was going thru the "GM Certified Like New" process, but at least the dealership didn't make me pay for the repairs. Oh, and all three times I got my car from the dealership - the day I first picked it up and both times after repairs, the gas tank was EMPTY. Both times I took it in for repair, it was 3/4 full or more. I actually had to stop immediately after picking it up once because the fuel warning was going off and I probably wouldn't have made it home. In all, I called the dealership 20+ times in the month after I bought the car. It was, by all accounts, an absolutely horrible experience - and what made it worse was that not one person was willing to do anything about fixing it except the day when the dealership manager made good on the overnight check to pay off the already-late trade-in loan. read more

He looked at me and assumed my skin color and maybe my backwards hat made that an appropriate way to speak to me. Obviously that rubbed me the wrong way. My boyfriend purchased a vehicle in April 2015 with trade in. He was told the vehicle was a 4 WD and it is an AWD. He was not shown the carfax report and told it was clean and later learned the vehicle was in 2 accidents. He is from out of state and has been waiting for his tags since purchase date in April and his temporary tags expired May 7, 2015. Whenever he called the salesman or manager they keep telling they will be in next week. How many more next weeks does he have to wait???? If this problem does not get corrected, he will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General office and the Better Business Bureau. He has never experienced anything like this from a dealership and he has purchased other vehicles in NJ. He does not recommend RK Chevrolet to anyone and told the manager that the last time he spoke with her. Good luck if you decide to go to them. read more

Do not trust your vehicle to these slobs. I had an insurance claim where my Cadillac engine needed to be replaced. I went to rk thinking they were a certified Cadillac repair facility and they would be the best for the job. They definitely were not! There are more problems with my car now than before it had work done. The engine sounds like complete poop and all of a sudden my rear is bad and they say it was normal wear and tear and they won't fix it. The electronics are all freaking out now after their "repairs" and they left my car covered in greasy handprints and damn near ruined my carpet with greasy boot stains. There is over spray spots on my passenger door, from something they were using, that took off paint spots. This car was immaculate and had no issues before it was brought in for repairs and no it's a clunker! The car has been back two times already and the check engine light is back on now. I would drive 500 miles before I let these people touch my car again! I wouldn't trust these people to fix my push lawn mower let alone a vehicle!! I wish I could have given negative stars because their workmanship doesn't even warrant one star. Trust me; they will ruin your vehicle and say they aren't responsible. read more

i would not recommend this dealership to anyone. we were purchasing 2 cars. filled out paperwork, took the car home. after several calls, never returned, finally talking to someone was told that the financing had not gone through, now the temp tax expired, and we had to redo paperwork. My car finally was finalized in December when i had the car since october. The second car was not finalized and the car was taken back after 4 months and my daughter was driven home in a car she thought was hers by a total male stranger The embasserment this dealership caused is not excusable. Be prepared for a wrought time with dealership if your credit is less than stuller.
