Does Your Salesman Know You After The Sale? I purchased a New 2025 Ford Ranger in early January 2026 after using the NJ Lemon Law on a 2025 Nissan PU truck. I dealt with a salesman by the name of Arron. From the "get-go" he was difficult to contact, I would call him and leave messages regarding questions, etc. and wait for him to text or call me back. Soon after purchasing the truck, I unfortunately had transmission problems over the course of 3 months. As Lilliston was a distance from my residence, I had a local Ford dealership try to resolve the problem. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem, I decided to trade the truck for another as I didn't want to deal with another lemon. When buying the first truck, I purchased a 10-year, 100,000-mile Extended Warranty from Arron and contacted him for help to process a refund from the warranty company. We were in Jersey for Thanksgiving and a class reunion (we live in Lancaster County PA) and our 2023 Explorer with only 12,000 miles on it decided not to run. Engine overheating issue - the built in safety feature kicked in - car would not move. This happened once before at 5000 miles and the dealer had the car in the shop for over a week before it was returned to us. Alas, it was 3 PM on Friday of a holiday weekend to boot. We called our Ford Dealer in Lititz PA and were told to call Roadside Service and they would take over finding a Ford dealer. Roadside Service found a Ford Dealer in Woodbury and they found a towing service (the first one was in Missouri, over a thousand miles away) Once we informed Roadside Service that we needed as South Jersey service, they found one who was going to tow the vehicle to the Woodbury Ford dealer for repairs. I called the Woodbury dealer only to learn that they were closing in ten minutes and would not reopen until Monday. I was having a panic attack. A family member told me to try Lilliston Ford in Vineland. I did and they also were closing at 5 PM, before the tow truck could get our car delivered. But - I was told that they had a skeleton crew working on Saturday, and he would put a note on the desk that an out of state car needed priority service if at all possible. And - we got priority service!! We received a text message letting us know they had our car and diagnosis was under way. We got more messages as the day progressed with status updates. I've bought 3 trucks from lilliston Dodge and have always walked away feeling as though I've gotten what I've wanted and never pushed or rushed with my decisions. My wife's car motor went and she saw some vehicles at lilliston ford she wanted to check out. We pulled up and were greeted as you would expect from a dealership by Ian our random salesman that day. We told him what vehicles we wanted to check out and he got the keys for us, he was laid back and not pushy as some salesman are. We test drove a few things and left . Came back a few days later after some thought and she picked a vehicle she liked, the process was smooth and not rushed or pushy. Ian did a great job on explaining everything to my wife who is very uncomfortable with the entire wheeling and dealing while shopping for a vehicle. The dealership is very clean and modern, it's a comfortable place . At the end of the day the process was pretty quick only a few hrs and once again I felt like we received the deal we were looking for and not ripped off and were treated respectfully. This being my 4th vehicle I purchased from the lilliston family it's hard for me to imagine buying from anywheres else, we did stop at a few other dealerships to check out some vehicles and they just didn't get me the comfortable feel I get from the lilliston dealerships. I was open minded to potentially trade in my brand new vehicle for something more affordable and well equipped. Brian was an absolute amazing sale representative. But I did what to make you all aware that the matching of the symbols is not real. They go off your winning # at the top of the flyer that is out in your mailbox. I have used Lilliston Ford in Vineland for many years; purchased two vehicles there and always used them for service. I haven't had an issue since day one. Except for the last time I brought my car for service ( last week). I needed the Works and a diagnostic on my sound system. They didn't have time to do the diagnostic so I only had the Works. After a while the service person came out and said they couldn't rotate the tires because the lug nuts were stuck and needed replacement. $120. I said I just had them replaced in January (8 months before). I was told the nuts had a design flaw and they were working on getting a different supplier but for now I had to replace the nuts again. I said no, and told them I would not be back. And I won't. That's a terrible way to treat a long time, faithful customer. read more

They told her that it would be done between 3 and 4 o'clock and it was an hour over what time they told her. And then she proceeded to ask questions to the manager one of the staff in the service unit said "what do you think she has bionic hearing it's not like she can hear us" I've never in my life had someone be so ignorant to an elderly woman. purchased a 2018 F150 XLT Ford pickup from this car lot Auto Tech in Vineland New Jersey, after owning it a week or two the engine light came on after purchasing it failed inspection because of the engine light was on took it back to them they sent it to their mechanic and apparently oxygen sensor bank 2 was bad they replaced it pick the truck back up I didn't get 50 miles on the engine light came back on again took it back to their dealership again they sent it back to their mechanic apparently said it was nothing wrong with the oxygen sensor must be in the PCM so that's when they decided send it to Ford dealership so I made an appointment to drop it off at Lilliston Ford Ford in Vineland New Jersey, after they had it a while they called and said the truck was done Auto Tech paid for it I picked it up ran a few days took it to inspection no light was on it passed inspection and I asked Lilliston Ford, they said it was a broken wire going from the oxygen sensor to the PCM so I drove it a week or two then the light comes back on while driving the truck (which for now the warranty the dealership give me has been expired),】 it started to shift erratically and the lights in the dash for the shift indicators were blinking I made it home and shut the truck off went to try to start it nothing no start at all wouldn't even turn over no lights on in the dash now I'm pissed so I pushed it in my garage with my tractor. My son is a mechanic he came over with his Snap-on scanner plugged it in he would tell me the codes coming up said it was the automatic transmission gear position sensor inside the transmission was bad. we could not believe that with the truck only having 77,000 miles on it but it was a possibility. so my son said let's see what Lilliston Ford did with this wiring he will now started tracking the wiring down. Lilliston Ford, in Vineland New Jersey you can see where they're so-called mechanic cut into the wiring harness round a jumper wire to the oxygen sensor bank 2 and ran a wire down the transmission harness past the melted part , over top of the transmission all the extra wire hanging this was all fudged together and not even ran the right colored wire and instead of taking the pin out of the harness they cut the wire before the harness and butt connected it and ran the extra wire down the transmission wiring harness over top of the transmission to bank to oxygen sensor. When my son start tracking the harness down you can see the harness was lying on the passenger side exhaust manifold pipe which was all melted ,the harness which was already melting that's why they cut the wire and jumped it so the mechanic at both shops should had had to see the harness on the exhaust pipe , when I picked it up from Ford dealership here the service manager at Lilliston told me they found a broken wire all right but what about the harness being melted never said a word about the melted harness just left it laying on the exhaust pipe apparently so as I drove it more it melted the rest of wires that's why my truck quit. I just can't believe that two different shops especially the one at Lilliston Ford in Vineland New Jersey that their mechanic did not see that which that's where the wire was bad and he ran a new wire right down there past where it was melted and attached it to the old harness and was charged almost $500 for that nasty job they did on my truck, it's needs a new transmission wiring harness I called them and told them about it what we found. They said can you get the truck over to us I told them it don't run and won't move I can't afford to have the truck towed there because I am on a fixed income and took every cent I had to purchase this truck. and they refused to come get it so I will not deal with them too dealerships again and I can't believe that both their mechanics at both dealerships did not find that melted wiring harness !!my son has since then pulled it down for me and took it all apart spliced the wires back together and we did get it running again and moving, I do believe one of these dealerships should owe me a new transmission wiring harness and I can have my son who is a mechanic a very good one at that put the harness on not them. I have many pictures and can prove it and the nasty wiring job that, Lilliston Ford did. there mechanic should have not did a nasty job like they did and should had seen that and told the service manager that needs a new transmission wiring harness from the PCM down ,but no!!! fudged it all together to get me by never will deal with neither one of them dealerships again. This is a good place for an oil change called the works. They check your entire vehicle, change oil, rotate tires and give you a printed report. For $40 it's a good deal. Bought a truck from them and it was supposed to be ford certified pre-owned. Well they either did a half assed job on the certification or did not do it all. With a ford pre-owned certification they are supposed to inspect about 182 components etc on the vehicle and give you a set of wipers and free tank of gas. Found a bolt missing from the brake fluid reservoir. A component their supposed to check. Air filter super dirty and vehicle only had 27,000 on it when I picked it up. Another component they missed. Cabin air filter dirty so that's another component they missed. Wiper blades bad, another component they miseed. At this point I was like we'll they missed this much I might as well get an oil change just in case. Oh brother, am I glad I did. Technician who did the oil change called me to come into the shop to show me how black the oil was from it not being changed! !!!! That's where Iost it. As far as my patience. I emailed ford which didn't do any good. They said take it to dealer. I'm like why should i? They didn't do the cpo inspection how can I trust they will re-inspect it properly? Came in to pick up my registration and John offered me a good deal if I wanted to get out of my lease early he said that because of COVID things were way different and that could help me out I came in super excited because I thought that's what he would do instead he appraised my car way low than it's Kelly blue book value to up charge me a whole 4000 dollars extra on my new purchase so getting out of my lease early would actually put me into greater debt than if I just stuck out my lease. Seen a truck on guru and called them up right away. I spoke to a very nice man by the name of Bruce. He was very pleasant, and easy to talk to. The truck had a few minor issues with it and they said it would be taken care of next day. The next day I got a call about 3:30 pm saying; that the truck was ready for pick up. I was very pleased on how they fixed all the issues on the truck, but was disappointment with them not washing the truck up before I took it. If you're uneasy about this place or any other dealership; listen, a bigger car dealerships are most likely to give you a good deal on a used car/truck than the buy here pay here places. The big dealerships get rid of the cars/trucks that are not worthy to be sold on there car lot. So, while you're looking at these cars at the buy here/ pay here shops down the street; just know one thing, at those came from auctions or bigger car dealerships that won't sell them to consumers because of their conditions. Upon picking up the truck after the oil change, on Saturday 7-11-20, I was informed that the oil pan was leaking and that they would order the part. I was told to bring it back the following Tuesday 7-14. Tuesday I bring the truck in and was told the part was in and it would be done by the end of the day. I called Tuesday afternoon and was told they couldn't get to it, but it would be done tomorrow [Wed.]. When I called on Wednesday 7-15 ,they said it still wasn't done. I asked if they had a loaner car as everything was covered under warranty and was told that they didn't have any. So since I needed the vehicle to get to work I told them to reschedule me for a day when they could get to it. I was told to bring it in the following Tuesday 7-21. I bring it in the following Tuesday and call Tuesday afternoon, only to find its not done. They keep the truck telling me it would be done the next day, Wednesday 7-22. I call Wednesday afternoon , not done. Call Thursday 7-23 , not done. I asked how can this be as I had a scheduled appointment and the reply was that they got slammed. I explained I needed the truck and was told to come pick it up. Upon arrival I asked,"Can you please schedule me for a day and time when you can absolutely have it done by the end of the day". I was told to bring it in Wednesday 7-29. Today I call at 1:00 pm and asked if the truck was done, I was put on hold and when they came back on he said not yet. I asked if it would be done by the end of the day I was told yes. So, I arrive at the dealership at 4:30pm and was told ,sorry we couldn't get to it. So aside from all the inconvenience of having to find a way back and forth from work and to the dealership , Lilliston scheduled me on three different dates for the warranty work, with me being told each time it would be done by the end of the day. So out of three scheduled appointments you had the truck for a total of 6 days. Really??????????. So when I went to pick up the truck today I asked to see the General Manager. After complaining to him, I was told I didn't understand......whats there to understand?....Lilliston is the one scheduling the appointments, I should have been blocked in somewhere on the schedule. I mean how can you schedule someone three different times have the truck a total of 6 days and not get to it. I'm not sure but the person in the Genral Managers chair might have been your Father. If so it makes this situation far worse than I thought. So, when I informed the GM that I would be contacting Ford, His reply was and I quote " Go ahead they won't care, all the dealerships are this way." Wow....very laughable to say the least. So I guess what he's saying is that all the Ford dealerships can't complete scheduled warranty work ....so what's the sense in buying a Ford. I'm sure Ford will be happy to hear this. Saw some negative comments on here and was bit surprised due to my experience. I went in to just get familiar with the Transit. Angelo the sales rep who I knew about from a prior dealership and the tv commercials he did with the gm introduced me to the Transit. First in the catalogues and then by walking to the lot. I knew they had a bunch of white ones but I was considering a totally different color. There was one and I thought I would figure out if my credit score would be good enough to come back and put something together. He took some minor info from me and asked me to the ok to run a credit report. It came back adequate and I decided to just go ahead an start the processing. To make a long story short Angelo had to complete redoing the ordeal and it worked out fine. I have to add I have purchased around 14 new vehicles in the past and I have never enjoyed a vehicle more than the Transit.
