I just had THE BEST experience at RK Kia Service!! I drove from Brooklyn NY to Salem NJ to bring some teens from my church to Jersey Oaks for a youth retreat. While driving on the Verrazano Bridge and on the NJ Turnpike in my Seltos I noticed that the steering kept pulling to the left. It was a bit terrifying to feel like I had no control over the steering. I was driving white knuckled to keep the car straight. I got the kids safely to camp, thank God, then drove to Hampton Inn & Suites in Vineland. Again the steering gave me trouble while driving some curves on the windy road in the dark. There was no way I wanted to drive back to NY tomorrow like that! Praying that I could be seen today, I called RK Kia at about 11:15am. The service receptionist was lovely and told me I could be seen at 12:45! Woo hoo! The dealership was less than 5 min from my hotel and a car wash was right on the way (Vineland Car Wash) so I went there first. While waiting I got a call from RK KIA Service apologizing and asking me to come at 1:15 instead. No problem!!! I was still thrilled they could see me. I would NEVER have gotten an appointment hat quickly at the Brooklyn Kia. I arrived at 12:52 and was taken in by Andrew Gee... a service star!! So nice and thoughtful. He listened to my issues very carefully, asked if I needed anything else and then had me sit in the waiting room when I told him I would wait for the vehicle. The waiting room was very comfortable with a TV multiple cables and ports to charge cell phones, comfortable seats, and a snack station. Within about 30 min Andrew asked me if I had hit a pothole. I couldn't recall but potholes are so common place in Brooklyn I don't pay much attention to them any more. Based on what they were seeing it looked like the issue was caused by a pothole and that I would need a wheel alignment to fix it. He showed me pictures of the issue as well. Talk about comprehensive! I gave him the go ahead to complete the service and at 1:05pm, everything was done! Once again Andrew showed me pictures, this time it was before and after pictures. I was gushing over this excellent service! At 1:09 my bill was paid and I left RK Kia a happy camper! The car drives beautifully now. If I lived out here I would definitely be back. drove 3 hours to buy a (used) car. I communicated with the dealership for 4 days before taking the trip. After I test drove the vehicle and sat down to crunch the numbers, Wes, the Sales Manager, tried to charge $23000 for a car valued at $18000!!! When I pointed this out to my salesman Steve he immediately went back to the manager. (Steve was amazing and clearly stuck in the middle.) Wes then countered @ $18,900 and refused to negotiate on price after being caught trying to essentially steal $5,000 from us. When confronted on this fact numerous times, Wes tried to ignore it until he eventually said "Yeah, well I did, but I'm still not budging off of $18,900." Wes did eventually mention $18,500 as a price.... But the car is valued @ $18000!!! Needless to say, I left without a car, with my time wasted due to a racist manager. Why is it that local car dealers think they are doing you a favor by allowing you to do business with them? See my review of Lilliston Ford across the street. This is a high pressure, hit them over the head kind of place from their sales department to their service department. One of their service writers is either a liar or a complete idiot. Brought my new Suburban in due to a dead battery condition with no apparent reason. His first thought was "it's cold outside" (it was in the 30's). I replied by saying "where are the 10,000 other Chevy's that didn't start today". I then told him the truck sleeps in a heated garage. I could go on an on but the bottom line is that they gave me a quote to do some work (in writing) then billed me a higher amount for the parts. I am suing them in small claims court. These people are completely clueless on how to treat a customer and build loyalty. read more

Don't take your car to the body shop. They are thieves. They stole my apple airpods. I have the cops involved now. And I will have to take them to court because they don't want to confront their employees that worked on it or do anything about it. And not to mention when I bought my car back in 2015. They ran my credit in the ground. 26 hard inquiries on my credit. I should have called a lawyer back then. I would rather go to a person that sell garbage trucks before I do business with them ever. My experience with RK Kia of Vineland was and continues to be a disaster. My car broke down 12 days after my purchase and I towed it back to Kia (which the sales manager fought me on him paying for the tow, he finally paid) they stuck a bandaid on my car and it broke down again a month later. (Still under my 90 day warranty thankfully) I had to take my car to a "third party" to prove it was Kia's fault. It was proven by 2 separate third parties. Kia stuck another bandaid on my car and I could tell something wasn't right so I took it in to third party again. Which they proved the work done by Kia was ruining my transmission. Car was towed back to Kia and sat for a MONTH because sales manager did not want to replace my transmission, but the service center agreed to being at fault. Since transmission has been replaced my car now jumps each time I put it in reverse.. Motor mounts not being placed correctly and Kia does not want to fix the issue. All I wanted was a decent car from a reputable dealership. I am now paying out of pocket to get all of these issues fixed from a different service center, though the Kia service center is friendly.. They clearly do not know what they are doing. And for the sales Manager Dave, he is a joke and a very mean man. I am so mad that I did business at such an awful place. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and the lack of respect they have for their customers. read more

I genuinely feel sorry for the workers of RK I'm not sure how any of them make any money when there are barely any vehicles to show customers. Me and my husband went car shopping last night and were greatly disappointed in the lack of vehicles on the lot. My requirements for a vehicle were pretty simple. All I wanted was a 4X4 or AWD SUV but unfortunately there were only a couple. Needless to say we didn't stay long. read more

RK Auto Group has zero customer service. I purchased a new KIA Sedona and the price was comparable to all the other KIA dealers. The problems began with the Temporary registration and license plate. My temporary plate expired on 5/11 and it took 3 weeks for RK to send the actual plate. It was setting on someone's desk the whole time. I called many times and even e-mailed the GM and VP; neither responded to the e-mails. They also issued me a "We Owe" for missing KIA carpets and the 2nd Key/FOB and I still havn't received them. 1.5 months later... Both items are at the dealership and nobody cared to send the items to me ; even after 4 phone calls to track down the items. You can buy a car anywhere these days; so I would shop somewhere else and save the headaches... read more

RK is a joke!!! I have a 2012 Kia Sorento, after experiencing some issues, I took it to my mechanic. Turns out, there was no oil in it! Kia was the last one to do my oil change and according to the sticker, I still had another 1000 miles to go before my next oil change. I called Kia, and spoke with Bob, the service manager) and explained some things to him ( at this time, I didn't know the car was without oil) I asked him to call my mechanic, he said he would. After 3 calls in 2 days from my mechanic and myself, he never returned one call! 3 days later, I called again, explained my situation, the girl pages bob, and bob never gets on.... Dave ( from service) does. Explained to him the situation, he said he would call my mechanic..... Nope! He did not either. Go figure!! (maybe Bob trained him). After being frustrated for a few days without my car and no response from RK. I ended up taking my car to turnersville Kia. They are super friendly, very efficient and qualified. Turns out, Kia replaced my engine for free, got me a rental and I had my car back in one week. Thanks to turnersville Kia!! If you need service and want it done efficiently, DO NOT GO TO RK KIA OF VINELAND! read more

on 10/18/2011 i bought a 2012 kia optima. i always took my car to get serviced. it always had its oil changed, tires rotated, and any required maintance was done. on 2/12/16 my check engine light came on. on 2/16/16 my car went into the garage for an oil change and to read the codes for my check engine light. the mechanic said it was a composition senor and that it wasn't a big deal. i took my car home and on 2/17/16 i was driving to work and my car started making this god awful sound and my car started shaking and running really rough. i pulled over and had my car towed to the kia dealership. they then told me that my engine blew and was shot to shit basically. my car had a little under 90,000 miles on it and it should be covered by the 100,000 mile power train warranty. and on top of the manufacture warranty i also bought a platinum warranty on my car to protect if any thing where to happen. when my car got to rk kia in vineland the service manager was rude as could be and he could find no record that i even bought my car there. i went home and took all the paper work for my car up there and he said he had to talk to the warranty company to see if they would cover it. also when i asked how come my engine blew he told me and i quote "well its a four cylinder engine and this is known to happen" mind you my car is only 4 years old!!!!!! i called on the 18th and he told me my car had no warranty and if i wanted the new engine it would be 6000$ just for the engine not to have it installed. they said my warranty was voided becausew i claimed bankruptcy and "leagally" the standing trustee owns my car. for those of you who don't know the 100,000 mile warranty that kia advertises only applies to the first owner of the car. so because it has it listed thaat the trustee is the second owner and primary owner of my car now the power train warranty was null and void. then the extended warranty i bought is also null and void because i claimed bankrupcty. i've never heard of such bullshit in my life. so now my car sits at rk kia and they refuse to do anything. i will reposes my car and count my losses. it really is a shame because i did love my car. never again will i buy a kia. read more

I had the door handle fixed by them a few days later it fell off.They said we are not responsible and after arguing with them they finally gave me a reduced repair offer.It should've been free. read more
