Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you. I used them twice as I was quite desperate to get our lawn cleaned up when we moved here. They were…read morerecommended on FB in a local group and I realized they were close and convenient. The first time, it was a discounted price and they cleaned up everything except my driveway and front of the house (all tall weeds sprouting from asphalt and gravel). Since it was discounted and I mainly just needed to walk my dogs without ticks, I didn't complain about the oddness of leaving the front a mess. The second time I hired them, they left the grass around the sewer untouched and again they didn't do anything about the front. When I asked, they told me the grass around sewer was overgrown, so it wasn't included (they did it last time and I paid the monthly fee, so they hadn't cut it in a month) As for the front, they explained that they don't weed wack anything they don't normally mow. That sounds odd to me. So people who have weeds coming out of their driveway, you just leave then and then have them pay additional, like an a la carte item? I assume it would be embarrassing for them to be seen leaving my property with the front looking like that ‍ My property isn't even an acre and the house and gravel take up a majority of it. We decided to spend our money on buying the equipment and doing it ourselves instead of paying them in the future.
