Beautiful place. Kind and helpful staff. Delicious food. Great technology. Comfortable seating. A real gem of a place for Pittsburgh area.

Courtyard Pittsburgh North/Cranberry Woods is in desperate need of a major revamp. The rooms…read morehaven't been updated since the hotel opened in 2012. While the exterior looks modern and welcoming, the interiors are... eeek. Hallway carpet looks worn, furnishings feel dated, lighting is harsh and yellow, and the wall A/C is loud. Outlets/USBs are scarce, the bathrooms show their age (tired grout/fixtures), and the overall vibe is musty and tired--not the clean, crisp feel you expect from Courtyard. Staff were pleasant and the location is convenient with easy parking, but that can't make up for rooms that no longer meet Marriott standards. At current rates, the value just isn't there until a top-to-bottom refresh happens. I'd happily return after a renovation; until then, I'll stay at the Marriott next door. It was updated a couple years ago.

I used the mobile check-in feature, so I never had the opportunity to interact with the hotel staff. The hotel's common areas were clean but felt somewhat dated and worn from frequent use. I would hope a remodel or refresh is planned soon. The room was spacious and clean. Although there seemed to be quite a few other guests, it was quiet, with walls thick enough to filter out noise from neighboring rooms. I only stayed for one night. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but I also had no complaints or concerns. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

Got there at midnight, and left at 6am because it was that bad. Didn't shower there in the morning because the bathroom was gross. My son was going to sleep on the pull out sofa. He opened it up and it was covered in urine stains. There were no pillows or linens for him. When we went to the front desk to ask for linens and a pillow, the lady at the front desk said "You're staying in one of the double queen rooms, right? There are 3 pillows on each of those beds. The third pillow is for the pull out sofa." The pillows are the thinnest pillows I have ever seen. If you used all three, it still wouldn't be comfortable. We were able to get one extra pillow, but only I got a sigh and an eye roll. The complimentary breakfast was a few muffins and eggs in a bag. One single hard boiled egg wrapped in a plastic bag. No coffee, no juice, no water. The staff was not kind or welcoming at all. They seemed to be annoyed by every person they came across. I would never stay here again, and definitely not recommend it even to my worst enemy!

We had only about a 25 minute drive to the stadium which was perfect. Check-in/check-out: Check in and out was easy and seamless. Customer service was excellent. Both employees were very friendly. The room: Very spacious. TV is Huge! Beds were comfy. Bathroom was fully stocked with essentials. One downside is I feel there was not enough lighting, especially near the mirror. Amenities: A small pool and gym onsite. A bistro and Starbucks pop-up are onsite(they don't serve Matcha lol.) A very large lobby with computers, plenty cozy seating and large TVs. They also feature an outdoor patio area with a grill. This hotel is walking distance to a small shopping center with plenty food options, a coffee shop, a nail shop & more! There's also a Target, Marshall's and Dick's Sporting close by, probably easier driving. I would definitely re-book! I hope you enjoy!

Property does not have a nice outdoor patio, which is a big minus. The M Club is a joke; Always warm Diet Coke cans, while both fridges stacked with 100 bottles of water.
