I had a tiling project where I didn't trust myself to be able to properly cut and space the tile around our irregular shower wall. He did such an impressive job and I'm a perfectionist. It truly looks fantastic. You would never know that there isn't a straight angled wall in that bathroom. In addition to our tile project, he also cut and hung our new interior doors, framed in a wall in the back of our laundry room covering a poorly built machinery access. Everything he did was well built, and his trade skills were impeccable. I am notoriously picky about perfection when it comes to finishes, and Jason was a level beyond even my standards. When it comes to customer service, he was very respectful with noise, and the work area was spotlessly clean after he left. Jason also impressed me with his ethics and professionalism. If I was not able to be present for some reason, I would trust him to continue working in my home unsupervised any day. I also knew that any quote I received would not mysteriously change after work began. As a resident and as the Condo Association President for my neighborhood, Jason with Lakeshore Handyman Services has been one of the best contractors I have ever had worked with and comes highly recommended.

I recently was in need a small tiling job to replace subfloor and tile around my toilet. Received a…read morequote for $1,200 & was told I had to pay half in cash as their "machine was acting up". I did. Once first night of job was done my tenant had stepped on the tile because there was zero communication to stay off it. The wife of guy tiling, Melissa, sent invoice for extra $145 expecting I pay for the mishap which caused additional work. She has been beyond rude and unprofessional texting me (a client) paying for the service!!! And completely not understanding of my request for itemized receipt. Expecting I pay for THEIR mistake in lack of instructions & or not putting up a sign to not touch the tile, paying for additional labor that the tiling guy clearly caused by not communicating. Rude handling.

I don't want word to get out about how…read moreAMAZING Dan and his crew are and then not be able to book them for future projects We have now had Hello Handyman over for multiple projects because we were so happy with the service provided. They really are a "Jack of all trades" business. We've had 2 sliders replaced which included widening the area a bit and a new entry door, tile work done around our fireplace and bar/island area and then brought them back to continue the bar/island tile for a backsplash and the backsplash on the opposite side of our kitchen. Oh yeah, did I mention they paint too. We had our ceiling done to cover up smoke damage from the old fireplace and it looks great! They are an honest company that won't nickel and dime you, his estimates have been super reasonable. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.

We hired Daane's Designs LLC to do a ceramic tile job of 1130 sq ft. After the job was complete we…read morehad to have them reclean due to the mess they left. Cement dried all over our new deck and siding. The tile job looks terrible. The grout lines are uneven, some lines don't have hardly any grout in them. Which will be an issue when water gets on floor and its not sealed with grout. Hard to vacumm or sweep do to the extremely deep grout lines in many places. The tiles are cut too short in places , so much so that trim wont cover. They damaged our freshly painted walls so the point we had to have them cleaned, mudded, sanded and repainted again to the sum of 895.00 The tiles are unlevel, some dip down and some are raised to the point they catch your toe when walking. We had a local tile company come in and give us an estimate on how to fix and cost of their botched job. The amount for the whole job, ripping it all up, reinstalling labor charge would be 10k, not including the 5k for materials. Just to fix the worst area that people see the most, will cost us over 1000 to repair. And that's only small area. When talking to the owners BF, he told us to just put furniture or room/area rugs over what we don't like. That was his solution to the issues. He refused to come to house and let us show him whats all wrong. He also refuses to look at our hundred pictures we took all of all the botched areas and damage they caused. At this point no resolution has been made. We have been in contact with attorney and advised not to pay the full remaining balance. Just to be done with this matter, we offered to take the 1000 and the 895 off of the balance we have to pay in repairs and a little extra over that due to fact that job was not done correctly and will cause many issues in the future. They will not take any responsibility for their botched job! I would never recommend this lady for tiling. Very unprofessional and irrational. I have many many pictures of my statements here.
