I initially visited RMJ Medical for a Vampire Facial. I had tried different alternatives for reducing fine lines, but I wanted to try something new and had heard great things about this type of skin care. I was unsure of the process and quite nervous at the time. Marie walked me through all of the steps and made sure I was comfortable before she started. Not only was it pretty painless, it also delivered awesome results! Within a few days, my face regained the youthful glow that had slowly been waning over the years. While I was having the facial done, I mentioned in passing that I've been dealing with severe hip pain over the years and was considering having arthroscopic surgery. Marie recommended that I try a PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection in the affected area to stimulate by body's natural healing process in that area. (This is a similar concept as the vampire facial). Since I was already there and she already had my PRP in a syringe, I agreed and decided to give it a try. About two weeks later, I noticed my hip pain significantly improved! Since the injection (appx 3 months now), I've discontinued all muscle relaxers and pain medication that a previous physician had prescribed for my hip pain. I'm typically skeptical of most medical practitioners due to the fact that they usually focus on individual issues within the body instead of viewing the body as a whole. This is not the case at RMJ Medical. While my vitals were being taken, I was provided with a lot information about military benefits, which is very helpful. They seem to care more about the quality of care then the quantity. When I went in I had a multivitamin IV cocktail which has me feeling so renewed and energized.
