I don't normally write Yelp reviews, but given how few existing reviews there are for this…read morelocation, and how profoundly impactful my experience there was on my life, I feel obligated to share so that others who are struggling like I was 4 months ago can hopefully make the best decision possible for their wellbeing. For those unfamiliar with PHP/IOP treatment, it's essentially a middle ground between regular weekly therapy and full hospitalization. If you're in a crisis and are not currently receiving any kind of psychiatric care, this place can help you; if you're already receiving care, but it doesn't feel like enough, or you feel like you need something more intense--without being admitted to a psychiatric hospital (the image I had in my mind was being restrained in a straight jacket and surrounded by doctors in lab coats)--this is EXACTLY the kind of program you're looking for. Essentially, it's a 3 month commitment. After speaking to the admissions team and doing a remote interview with the program director, Tim, you'll likely begin within a few days--possibly within 24 hours. For 4 weeks, you show up every weekday at 9am and leave at 3:30pm. This is the partial hospitalization program, or PHP. You'll go through an extensive intake process where you'll be asked some very personal questions (I was uncomfortable at first, but trust me, the staff here are super caring and kind and you'll get to know all of them really well). You'll be thrown into the existing PHP group (mine was around 10 people) which is also nerve-wracking--but again you'll be surrounded by people who are probably there for similar reasons as you, and everyone will be totally understanding and welcoming). You'll be assigned a personal care team consisting of a therapist and a counselor, each of whom you'll meet with individually once a week. There's also a nurse practitioner who you'll consult with weekly, who can assist with prescribing medications or simply supervising/monitoring any existing ones you may be taking. There's a 30 minute lunch halfway through the day, as well as 10 minute breaks in between each group session. The sessions include traditional group therapy (known as "open process," led by one of the therapists); dialectical behavior therapy (DBT, led by a counselor); reading/journaling exercises on a whole range of topics related to things like coping skills, causes of anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, social skills, communication skills, etc. (the list goes on and on); and some interesting once-a-week sessions like art therapy, sound bath, and drama therapy (it's not what it sounds like, trust me). After that, you'll transition into the intensive outpatient program (IOP) over the course of 2 weeks; this is known as the "hybrid" period--hybrid PHP for one week (attending PHP for half days only, either 9am-12pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm), then hybrid IOP for another week (half day PHP on Tue/Thur, and half day IOP on Mon/Wed/Fri). The remaining 6 weeks are the IOP portion of the treatment, consisting of the same half days, but only 3 days a week (Mon/Wed/Fri); these types of programs are a "revolving door" of people entering and exiting, some at the start of their 3 months and some at the end, so when you transition to IOP, you'll be in a new group--same staff and care team, some new faces, mostly familiar ones, just a different room than PHP and slightly different activities and program structure. You'll still meet with your individual therapist and counselor every week. After 12 weeks, you'll finish and will be officially discharged from the program. The staff can help you get set up with an outside therapist and psychiatrist if needed. Now, logistics aside, this place changed my life. I'm not "fixed" nor did I expect to be. I'm not even necessarily doing "better"--but I am different; I think just a little bit differently, I feel just a little bit differently, I think about my feelings just a little bit differently. My life is more or less the same as it was before I went through the program, however--there are now small but powerful glimmers of change that I notice as I go about my days, little cracks in the behavioral patterns that have been on repeat for years, tiny moments of clarity where I understand what I'm doing, what I'm thinking, what I'm feeling, and why it's happening. It may not sound like much, but my time at Clear was without a doubt the most profound 3 months of my life, and attending was quite possibly the best decision I've ever made for myself. I've been in an IOP before and it was terrible experience, so I was reluctant to try again but I needed the help so I took a leap of faith and I am so glad I did. The cohort I was in was amazing, everyone was so loving, accepting, and talkative. We were known as the talkative group. Throughout my 3 months here, I think there was only one issue with the program that I had, and it was resolved immediately. Not once did I ever feel unwelcomed, silenced, or judged. I work in treatment as well and cannot wait to refer patients to you guys. Chris, Stephanie, Derrick, Heather, Erik, Sauncia, Sydney, Amber, Justin, and others I may be forgetting (sorry), you guys were amazing and I attribute a lot of my growth to you all. Thank you especially to my therapist Amber who continuously pushed and challenged me, you have no idea how much you've helped me in just 3 months. Saying goodbye was very hard, which is how you know something truly made an impact on you. I love this place and would highly recommend anybody who is struggling to give Clear a chance. The thought of doing therapy 9-15 hours a weeks seemed quite overwhelming and, if I could be honest, exaggerated. Boy was I wrong!! Aaron and his staff were all amazing, supportive in my growth, and genuinely honest. This not the time or place for the professionals to sugarcoat areas of improvement they see. Everyone was transparent, even if I didn't always agree, it at least gave me a new perspective. The clients were all equally minded people, who wanted to improve themselves, so it was such a transforming experience. The whole process was amazingly supportive, and to find a place with this level of support, that accepts health insurance and was able to immediate help us, was life changing. Our family situation is bit unique, and our tween had been struggling and was not coping well with a multitude changes and things became more and more concerning. We were at the point of dealing with self harm and talk of suicide, but as much was we tried, we were not getting through to them and we were struggling to get much support from the school and to find routine, regular care in our area. We tried so many routes and just could not seem to get the help we really needed. We were at a loss on how to support them and we were all struggling at this point. Clear's approach towards the whole family (although mostly child focused) was so beneficial for us. They were able to quickly help us by letting us know our insurance was accepted and got us in the next day! From our first appointment, it was such a relief to FINALLY feel like we were in a place that got it. The level of continuous communication and support felt like a dream compared to our previous struggles. Being able to talk to other parents who are in the same situation was really helpful for us as we didn't feel able to talk to all our tweens friends's parents while still respecting our tweens privacy. We also didn't want our tween to feel anymore alienated than they already felt. For our tween to hear from other kids struggling and be able to talk to people who understood them and not feel judgement (like they had from some friends) was really needed as well. By the end of our 3 month program, we were all a bit sad to go, but even before it ends, they were so helpful in finding therapists and support in our area that worked with our insurance, you don't feel like you are just sent off with a hope and a prayer. The things we learned there as a family, we are still working and doing them. Although we still have our ups and downs, we feel better prepared to handle them. We are in such a better place. Again, can't say enough good things about this place.

(We wouldn't know what to do without my brother) While my friend and I were trying to help find a place for my brother, Debbie was trying to help even though we didn't think he had the correct insurance for Transformations Care. Debbie helped my friend for countless hours and eventually they were able to figure out insurance to get my brother to Transformations. The fact that she was helping my friend even though we didn't think we could get my brother to Transformations, truly shows that this place has the best of intentions. Debbie wants to help people in need get to the road to recovery! She made the road to recovery so much easier than it could have been. She made my brother feel welcome, normal, and loved. I was referred to TCI and knew I needed to go, but didn't want to go. That all changed once I got there. TCI changed my life and forced me to look in a mirror and get comfortable with being uncomfortable and face the parts of me that have been anchoring me from true freedom and inner peace. The program they run is rigourous and caused some serious brain pain, but I was able to break through parts of me that have I've been hiding for most of my life. Each person has their own style of doing things and contributed different things that I needed to receive while I was there, and to me, it was the perfect staff. From crying, to laughing, to being vulnerable and feeling comfortable enough to dig deep and share things with perfect strangers that I've never shared with anyone else; I've never felt more safe, heard, and just allowed to be myself without judgement. Instead I was met with compassion, understanding, and comfort. I don't trust people easily, and I trust every person at TCI with my life, because they not only changed my life, they saved my life. If I name one person in this review, I'm going to have to name all of them (that's a long list), but I was able to go home with the tools I know will help me manage my recovery on a daily basis, and because of that, my fears have lost power over me. I'm eternally grateful to each and every staff member at TCI. Thank you for your kindness, love and care (and for the brain pain experienced from being forced to be honest with myself). They were referrals for treatments that they do not do in that office and are pretty extreme. He said he wanted me to exhaust all other options before giving me referrals to those two treatments. I did exhaust all other options, so he did finally give me those two referrals. Again, I'm very grateful to him for doing that because I don't think I would've been able to pursue those treatments without his referral or a referral by another psychiatrist. One thing that bothers me a lot, though, is that, instead of being offered Spravato, which is covered by my insurance, I could only do IV ketamine there. I don't know why they didn't offer Sp I experienced zero effect until my sixth treatment. Cash pay at that time for me was extremely expensive (about $600 per session). So, the first $3000 worth of IV Ketamine treatment was completely ineffective for me.
