The PT was AMAZING and her walking has been good since then. A year later, now, she is having OT for her shoulder's arthritic pain - and because of it, she doesnt need pain medication. The PTs and OTs are wonderful. And as someone who works IN home health, i can tell when a company is good or not. I decided to go with Dynasty because of all the good reviews my own patients have for the PT companies that Dynasty works with. Dynasty and home healths *subcontract* PTs, OTs and STs and and such do not have direct control of them but the ones that do get sent out are great. I am a strong advocate for my mother and I'd get more services, as the application of therapy is greater than my expectations.

I kept looking for someone who could help, and that led me to Only Care Home Health. I honestly had no idea who I needed to speak with or where to begin. When I called, Roxy answered the phone. She asked how she could help, and I explained what my brother had been going through. She listened carefully and treated my concerns as important. She was kind, caring, and ready to help. Within about five minutes, she was able to resolve the main issue that had been causing my brother so much stress. I have worked with people my entire life. I explained that I would be available around 6-6:30 PM, and he said he could not come after that. When patients already wait weeks for appointments, expecting someone to suddenly be available within a very short notice window is unacceptable. The next day was Sunday. I understood when they explained they normally do not provide service on Sundays, and I was told someone would come Monday instead. After some back and forth and several unsuccessful calls, I received a message saying someone else from the office would come because the original RN was busy. I texted them around 8 AM and waited all day without any updates. Nobody contacted me again. After following up multiple times myself, they finally called to say they had nobody available to come. I explained how serious the situation was and how scared and stressed I was because I had just gone through surgery and still had not received any visit or proper care. Instead of helping, they kept delaying and giving excuses like "give us another hour." Later they even tried blaming me, claiming I had canceled the original appointment, which was completely false. I asked for a supervisor to contact me because at that point I honestly did not know what else to do. Nobody ever called back. In the end, I had to drive myself in my post-surgery condition just to find care somewhere else. No patient recovering from surgery should be left feeling abandoned and forced into that situation. This may be acceptable in some industries, but not in healthcare where patients are recovering from surgery and depending on proper care. I truly hope neither they nor their own family members ever have to experience this kind of treatment while recovering from surgery.

I have been feeling horrible all weekend and called my Cigna insurance for an urgent care open…read moretoday (a holiday) and this was the one I chose. I was probably seen within 25 minutes without an appointment (fast if you have ever been to a hospital urgent care). The doctor who saw me took time with me and ran strep test, gave me an inhaler type breathing apparatus with meds in it that calmed my cough and congested chest. She told me I probably have a viral infection and prescribed me some steroids and meds to help the nasal congestion and cough. Also recommended I read a sheet on some other things recommended to make me feel better (like warm liquids, honey, cough drops, etc. super helpful. Already feeling better. Thankful they were there today to see me.
