I called JDL because my GE dryer was not working properly. Justin responded on same day --Friday…read more-- and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. Nice. Justin came to repair the dryer 18 months ago prior: different problem. The heat sensor needed adjustment. Problem solved. Now, the dryer was not "drying" clothing. He checked the outside air vent and the end cap was totally covered in packed lint. He cleaned the end cap and cleaned the duct that connected it to the dryer. He was done in 30 minutes, and I was able to tackle the laundry that had accumulated. Justin explained the problem in terms I could understand. The uncleaned end cap caused the dryer heating unit to turn off. He told me that someone could check the outside vent a few times a year to prevent the recurrence of the problem. My GE Dryer is now working great. I am pleased I do not have to replace the seven year old appliance. It was another positive experience with JDL Appkuance Repair.

We scheduled an appointment for a representative to come out and provide an estimate for a furnace (and potentially a full HVAC system, including central air and a hot water heater). The technician came to our home and gave us only a verbal quote--nothing in writing. As most homeowners know, it would be unwise to move forward without a written estimate, especially when comparing multiple companies. We specifically needed a written estimate as part of a real estate transaction that had already encountered complications. After the appointment, I followed up and spoke with our service contact, Joe B., who assured me he would email the estimate. Unfortunately, we never received anything, and because of the lack of follow-through and documentation, they unfortunately missed the mark this time. As a result, we've decided to move forward with another plumbing and heating company for this project. It's disappointing, especially given our positive experience in the past, but communication and proper documentation are essential, and this time it just didn't happen.
