I got one of their spring specials, the Sugar Bush Latte. The latte had the perfect amount of flavor and not too much sweetness (which I prefer). (The apricot croissant I had was very very delicious. ) I do not love Catalpa espresso as much as Shelburne Falls coffee, because it has a very sweet taste with a bitter finish, I prefer something that is more of an earthy or mellow light roast. Just smelling the ground coffee makes you think of something flowery and sharp. They have limited breakfast sandwiches and a few drink specials that remind me of what they have over at Catalpa . Unfortunately, because all three stores are linked, that means none of them have soy milk anymore, which is my go to espresso add-in. It is even still on the sign at the counter. My friend got a coffee she wasn't happy with. I think my coffee was more of a latte, since it was extra creamy and so delicious. I really enjoyed. The barista and cashier were both so friendly and sweet, they without any trouble replaced my friend's coffee with a new one. The cookie was perfect for us to share, a little harder then I'd prefer, but tasty nonetheless. The service and their coffee are stellar. They also sell baked goods - they're made by a local bakery, not on sight, but they're delicious. They're also incredibly light, and I know this because after one delicious bite of the chocolate cake (like a small chocolate lava cake), one gust of wind blew it away! I was devastated, emotionally overwrought... I did pick it up so no dog found it as a treat. On a related note, there is indoor and outdoor seating.
