At Radial they roast their own coffee beans. They had some pastries, but not many, probably because it was after 2:00 o'clock. For my coffee I got the Honey Maple Latte. The barista said I could take a seat, she would bring it to me. Well, it's a good thing she brought it over, because I would have spilled it. The presentation was lovely. It came in a navy ceramic cup with a saucer, with a design on top. This was one of the smoothest and creamiest coffees I've had in a while. From the texture of the latte its self, to the flavor, it is very smooth, in a way lux. The flavor was there but in a very organic way, nothing is too sugary. This was a very pleasant experience at Radial.

This means, that the coffee you get here is going to be Catalpa roasted beans, but with a higher selection of "fancy" pastries. (The apricot croissant I had was very very delicious. ) I do not love Catalpa espresso as much as Shelburne Falls coffee, because it has a very sweet taste with a bitter finish, I prefer something that is more of an earthy or mellow light roast. Just smelling the ground coffee makes you think of something flowery and sharp. They have limited breakfast sandwiches and a few drink specials that remind me of what they have over at Catalpa . Unfortunately, because all three stores are linked, that means none of them have soy milk anymore, which is my go to espresso add-in. It is even still on the sign at the counter.
