Some stores had a booth in front of their brick and mortar. I appreciated the live music and was able to find a comfy area to sit and enjoy. One of the highlights was the small circus-style show featuring bikes and motorcycles, which was entertaining and added a unique touch. The acrobat portion was fairly short and ended up being my least favorite part of the event. The lighting and visual effects were absolutely amazing. There seemed to be a blend of Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz themes throughout the experience. While the visuals were beautiful, I think it would have been even better if they had fully committed to one theme rather than mixing elements together. My favorite part was exploring the many small rooms scattered throughout the venue. Each room was decorated differently, and it was a lot of fun discovering all the creative details and designs. I do hope that future versions stay more consistent with the chosen theme instead of sprinkling in random figurines that don't quite fit. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I'd happily return next year to see what they create next.

They offer some great deals for local residents as well as on weeknights. We stopped by here the other night after my birthday dinner. It was a little chilly and windy, but there were so many cool things to see and do here. Talk about a plethora of options for photo ops and selfies! The Wizard of Oz theme is cool. There's a couple rooms that don't seem to follow the theme, which helps mix it up a bit. There's also a "circus" which looks like a lot of BMX and dirt bikes. We heard it and saw some of the performance, but it's a very small area of the attraction, so we were more interested in everything else. We ended up staying here almost two hours and they were getting ready to close. This is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something fun and different to do in the area.

The staff was very nice and the performers were all so talented. The set up this year was a little different and there weren't as many vendors. Also, this year they didn't "allow" purses in (even though the website stated otherwise and there many people with purses and backpacks). Updated communication would've been helpful. Look for parking on the surrounding streets. DO NOT PARK IN THE BUSINESS LOT ACROSS THE STREET, THEY STARTED TOWING CARS! It also gets cold once the sun goes down so plan accordingly. What you want to do is walk around first then come back for the performances. I enjoyed the dragon on the floating water. Different dragons and monsters to ride for photos. I think I would come back here with a group. Definitely a good date event.

There are so many things here, exotic teas, lots of veggies and fruits, even this awesome soapmaker who made Calamansi Soap! Wow! I purchased that too! Plus, Olive Oil with Basil, very fancy here, juice stands, salsa and chips fresh made. A bit of soft music, plenty of parking and got one quite fast. Beef jerky and chamoy candy. Pizza ready for baking when you home, too. I prefer shopping locally and lines not long and boring like grocery markets and major chains. Establishing relationships with market vendors is above all else important. Visiting again!!

I visited the Farmer's Market in Claremont today for the first time and had so much fun! The…read moreweather could not have been better - Sunny with a nice breeze. There were plenty of free parking both on the street as well as behind the public library and the local post office. At the Farmer's market, you can find vendors selling fresh eggs, fruits, and flowers. There's also honey, juice and pastries that are super tasty. I was actually there primarily for the eggs and was able to get two dozens of XL Grade AA eggs for $23. Most vendors accept Apple Pay / Tab to pay using your cc or debit cards. I plan to come back here more often, and when I do, I will remind myself to bring my wagon.

As a a dad of two it's even more amazing seeing your children's face when they see all the decorated houses. My biggest recommendation is to come during a week day and avoid rush hours (6-8:30). The traffic does get pretty bad. If possible visit during the walking days, which are typically the first 4 days of December. We've walked and driven through the street with minimal foot/car traffic and it does make looking at the lights even more special. Benefits of walking is that you are able to take your time and admire everyone's work, benefit of driving is staying warm in your car all while playing some Christmas music. As soon as I entered the fair, a photographer asked if I wanted a picture taken. I checked for pricing and the lowest package they had was $40. Needless to say I did not take the photo . I did run into some cute jewelry vendors, and a soap making vendor that is local,and supported their business. I also saw some interesting art and the artist was onsite to talk about it. Parking at the fair is always something. They do have a complimentary tram that will take you closer to your car. For a discount on tickets, I decided to go with Mattress Firm.The process to reserve discounted tickets was easy. Til next year.

It was really cool to see all the retro-themed exhibits this year, from the "Retro Row" magazine cover section to the toys, teenage bedroom decor, video stores, typewriters, TVs, and more!! There were so many great photo op spots :) It was also interesting to see how much technology has changed over time and how some items are either no longer used at all or are used very differently now lol. As always, we spent time walking around and checking out the different outdoor booths, and a few of my friends even ended up winning some raffles! I also enjoyed seeing all the decorated tables and was especially happy to find the one my friend had entered into the competition. The other art exhibits were fun to look at too, and it was interesting trying to interpret the different pieces haha. As for food, I got to try the Watermelon Candy Chamoy, which I really enjoyed and would definitely order again!! I also tried the Loaded Cheese Fries with Bacon Bits. They were good, but more of a "try it once" kind of thing for me. Lastly, I got to try some Fried Frog Legs from a friend, and much to my surprise, I actually liked them and could see myself ordering them myself in the future. Overall, it was another fun and enjoyable day at the fair :)
