Some stores had a booth in front of their brick and mortar. I appreciated the live music and was able to find a comfy area to sit and enjoy. I also appreciated all the security that was about the faire. Parking can be a challenge so arrive early. One of my top three fav faire!

They offer some great deals for local residents as well as on weeknights. We stopped by here the other night after my birthday dinner. It was a little chilly and windy, but there were so many cool things to see and do here. Talk about a plethora of options for photo ops and selfies! The Wizard of Oz theme is cool. There's a couple rooms that don't seem to follow the theme, which helps mix it up a bit. There's also a "circus" which looks like a lot of BMX and dirt bikes. We heard it and saw some of the performance, but it's a very small area of the attraction, so we were more interested in everything else. We ended up staying here almost two hours and they were getting ready to close. This is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something fun and different to do in the area.

The staff was very nice and the performers were all so talented. The set up this year was a little different and there weren't as many vendors. Also, this year they didn't "allow" purses in (even though the website stated otherwise and there many people with purses and backpacks). Updated communication would've been helpful. Look for parking on the surrounding streets. DO NOT PARK IN THE BUSINESS LOT ACROSS THE STREET, THEY STARTED TOWING CARS! It also gets cold once the sun goes down so plan accordingly. What you want to do is walk around first then come back for the performances. I enjoyed the dragon on the floating water. Different dragons and monsters to ride for photos. I think I would come back here with a group. Definitely a good date event.

Visit and purchased 5.2.26…read more This giant farmers market nestled in such a cute downtown atmosphere here in Claremont. Although it was gloomy and cold, but people here support the market. There are so many things here, exotic teas, lots of veggies and fruits, even this awesome soapmaker who made Calamansi Soap! Wow! I purchased that too! Plus, Olive Oil with Basil, very fancy here, juice stands, salsa and chips fresh made. A bit of soft music, plenty of parking and got one quite fast. Beef jerky and chamoy candy. Pizza ready for baking when you home, too. I prefer shopping locally and lines not long and boring like grocery markets and major chains. Establishing relationships with market vendors is above all else important. Visiting again!!

The area is blocked off with traffic officers directing traffic. lines will be very long , just breathe deep and be patience take in the holiday festive lights . Held at the Fairplex in Pomona, the fairgrounds are massive. Parking is super simple and you can pay online to avoid a long stop in line. First stop for us is always the Flower and Gardens building. Always a fantastic theme mixing greenery and artistic creations. RCS is the carnival operator for the fair and they have a fantastic selection of rides and games. There is a tremendous selection of food along the midway, in the vendor areas, and even in the buildings. There are 8 or 9 buildings to go through with vendors, stage shows, a skating rink, etc. Nice to get out of the sun for a bit and relax while shopping. Up on the Hill there is a magician, a silent disco, and the Tree Circus where you can learn all about trees and what they give us. Highly recommend catching a show of theirs. There was a pirate act, an extreme dog show, the Magic Bean magic show, and Megan the Bubbleologist to entertain the crowds. We got there right when it opened and left around 8 PM on a Saturday. Tired feet from walking but so satisfied after a long fun fair day.

Costs can definitely add up if you go on a lot of rides, but I mainly spent money on food, which wasn't too bad. Some of the fun attractions included the dog trick show, pig racing, and the animal petting area. There was definitely plenty to see and do throughout the fairgrounds. I ended up buying the Costco deal, and it was honestly an amazing value. It included 4 tickets for $65, about 20 game tickets, and a free discount book. Definitely worth checking out if you have a Costco membership. Also, parking is best purchased online since it's around $22 online versus about $28 at the gate. One thing to note: they seriously lack water refill stations. If you bring a reusable bottle, it's surprisingly difficult to find a place to refill it. I only came across one station in the entire venue near a bathroom.

The Irish wolfhound were awesome. They were very sweet certified therapy dogs. We learned a lot about them. The entertainment was awesome. The poughboys and the dancers from Irish dimensions were fantastic. I gave three stars mainly for the lack of selection overall. We hope to return next year to an even better festival.
