If you're looking for something to do during the holidays, this is a great option. First of all, it's huge. I remember at one point as we were walking around I said "It just keeps going!" Secondly, the light displays are amazing. If you're looking for photos to post on social media, this is the place for you. Everywhere we turned we were like "Oh, wow!" and stopped so many times to take photos. A couple of the displays were also animatronic. There were also little freestanding rooms with mirrors that turn the small space into an infinity room. You just have to wait outside in a line until it's your turn to go in. And other rooms had seating, flowers, and Christmas trees specifically for people to pose and take pictures with. They also had a live circus act and carnival games. There were food trucks and food stalls with places to sit down and eat. There was also a "Transformer" car, so we actually decided to sit and eat there while we waited for the show to start, but they will try to charge you a small fee if you want to take a close up picture with it and they'll try to sell you toy versions of it. When we went on the ferris wheel, we actually got to see it transform from our aerial view. We also got a great overview of how expansive the light displays were and noticed an area we hadn't gotten to yet, so after the ride we went there. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the long line and wait to get in while sitting in our car. We also got a little lost trying to find the entrance because Google Maps told us to go to the wrong gate. I think it's been fixed since then. Overall, though, it was a great experience. My advice is to get there early. We got there at 5:15pm and it wasn't busy. Worked out great to take photos in the different photo ops available and we got to walk some sections being the only ones there. When we left at 7:30pm it was already way more packed and there was lines for all the photo ops. Circus show was entertaining. They also have bubbles that look Like snow which my toddler loved. The chalk room was really fun for her too. They do have a few carnival rides and carnival food booths open. I would say eat before you go because fair food is pricey. We paid $8 for a bottle soda. We spent 2 hours here and could have spent so much longer if we didn't have to go home for the kids' bedtime! There is SO much to see! It's not just all pretty lights to see... There's a stunt show, a giantttt ball pit, a maze, beautiful rooms with flowers and mirrors, photo opp booths, fake snowing, a craft room, and more. And it all covers a huge amount of land! Imaginarium at the Fairplex is an absolutely magical experience and a must-visit during the holiday season! Right now they have a Wizard of Oz theme blended perfectly with Christmas decorations, and it is done beautifully. I came with my family and brought my nieces and nephews, and they loved every second of it. There are so many cute photo opportunities throughout the entire display--lots of small themed rooms, different styles of décor, and incredible light installations. I honestly was not expecting it to be as big as it is. There is a lot to see and do, so give yourself plenty of time. Since it's outdoors, definitely dress warm because it gets very cold at night. Admission typically starts after 5 p.m., and I highly recommend going during the week (Monday-Thursday) right when they open so you can enjoy everything without feeling rushed and to avoid the weekend crowds. There's so much included with admission alone that you don't even need to spend extra money. Kids will love the DIY stations, themed rooms, bob pit (which is free), snow display, and all the interactive areas. They also have a carnival with rides where you can purchase an unlimited ride bracelet (around $40), but we skipped the rides and still had more than enough to do. One of the highlights was Santa Claus--he was fantastic and looked just like Santa should! The kids were thrilled, and the staff overall was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This event is truly perfect for all ages and ideal for a family outing during Christmas time. Everything was beautiful, well-organized, and thoughtfully done. We try to beat the holiday rush when it comes to lights and a weekday trip did just that. There was virtually no one in sight, no creatures stirring not even a mouse. Parking was $18 at the gate, thought it was interesting that it wasn't offered online when you were buying your tickets. Check online for a discount before you buy, sometimes they will have a code that can get you a few bucks off your ticket price. Put on your comfy shoes as you'll be walking down the well lit path around the Fairplex. There were little boxes that felt like infinity rooms with the well placed mirrors, different light sections, food, carnival games and rides as well as performances usually every hour or so. There is a security check in but nothing to worry about (just leave your nunchucks at home). I'd say smaller kids tend to like these type of lights, saw some teenage couples taken them in as well for those IG likes (Zoolander Blue Steel). They had bathrooms in the back part of the light show, which came in handy. As well as some near the front and before the security table. Worth every penny, especially with the BF $5 off per ticket coupon that I saw online. It was right at $60 for 2 adults and 1 almost-2.5 y/o (2+ have to buy tickets). Parking was $17 or $18. We went the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend and got there right around 6. Parking was thru one gate only, but there were 3-4 booths open. We didn't have to wait at all and once parked, the walk to the entrance wasn't long. We stayed 2 hours and would have lasted longer if it hadn't gotten so late for our toddler to be out. There was so much to do and see. The lines for the picture rooms were either non-existent or 1-2 families in front of us. No part of the walking exhibit was overly crowded. We got a beer and there was no line. We later got a cinnamon roll (amazing!!) and chocolate chip cookie and the line was maybe 5 min. They had tons of diff food and alcohol options. Santa was just strolling around the grounds and we were able to see him and our son interacted with him quite a bit. Our son loved the fake snow machine. We were really impressed at how many lights were everywhere. Most of these things are drive thru only, and still don't feel as expansive as this one was. We'll definitely go back! read more

My family and I are Imaginarium first timers! We all ended up really enjoying - especially my toddler niece! We visited on a slower night in November so it was less crowded and we were able to fully experience everything. Buy tickets online for faster entrance and because they're cheaper! $22-$28 depending on the day versus $40 at the gate if not sold out! Imaginarium showcases so many beautiful light displays, colorful holiday themed photo boxes, and fun interactive infinity rooms! My favorite part were the infinity rooms with mirrors and different colored lights! My toddler niece loved the fake snow spouting out of a machine which was in 2 different areas. Fair style food (funnel cakes, deep fried Oreos, churros, ice cream, chicken nuggets, fries, tacos, etc) are available for purchase. We ordered deep fried Oreos and were charged a $1 credit card fee. Fair style rides and carnival games are an extra cost. We didn't watch any of the free entertainment. We spent about 2 and a half hours here which included walking around the whole place and taking time to take photos, eat, and let the toddler run around. Actual restrooms are available and were clean! The restrooms near the carnival games do not have a diaper changing table. I spotted more restrooms towards the back by the Ferris wheel / path of lights but did not check to see if there was a changing table. read more

The fact is : this is the Pomona Fairplex. Where, just like, the Los Angeles county fair, the location provides a variety of entertainment for all ages. Some will enjoy rv shows, others will come for the drag racing, and others will visit the variety of shows that are hosted, such as the annual 5k 10k and 1/2 marathons. From side shows to street food, the Fairplex provides an ambiance that's fun for everyone and great for family moments. Huge place, best to just use the parking area it offers. Pricy, but what can one do. Prepare to walk and a lot. Score is 3.75 a bit older location, but serves its needs. A modernization would be in need. read more

I suggested that we check out this place, since I saw the hype online. We arrived at 5:15pm. It starts at 5:00pm and ends at 10:00pm. Parking is $17 which is credit card only. There were a lot of parking spaces available (since we arrived early). Adult tickets cost $30.00 ($27.00 + $3.00 service fee) and child tickets cost $26.00 ($23.00 + $3.00 service fee), but some tickets are a little bit cheaper on other days. The light displays were nice. There was this floral photo booth area in different color themes. There were also a few food trucks, a game booth and small shops. We were able to go around in 15-20 mins. The music being played at that time was some loud techno music. I think it was not the best choice. At the end, I realized and wished that the focus of the light displays were more Christmas / holiday inspired with matching holiday music. It was kind of an odd mix of dragons/mythical creatures, spring (flowers, snails, mushrooms, etc.), hearts, pirates and Christmas themes. We got to visit the @imaginarium360 at the Pomona Fairplex. It was our first time visiting so we didn't really know what to expect nor where to start. Tickets/Parking I purchased our tickets online, they offer a Family pack which I personally thought it was a good little deal. Mind you this does not include parking, parking was inexpensive and there was plenty of parking. Check in It was super fast as there was plenty of staff directing the crowd to the correct lanes, whether it was purchasing tickets at the window or getting you through the line if tickets had been purchased online. Food/drinks Tacos S'mores Popcorn Churros Hot Cocoa Coffee Ice cream We personally did not get any because the lines were sooo long of everything and it was too cold to be standing in one place There was several shows going on as well such as Pirate show, Transformers show and they even have Circus acts as well. They all have their show schedule and some play at the same time. Photo opportunities You have plenty of photo opportunities but keep in mind that there's always a crowd, so patience is key if you want to get a perfect shot Overall, this was actually fun to do with the family. Very disappointed; they sold tickets and claimed to be opening up to 30 minutes prior to start time. I purchased tickets and arrived only to be told they were closed due to rain. I requested a refund but ETIX would not refund per their instructions. Both ETIX and Fairplex should be the subject of an investigation. I didn't expect it to be so large and grand here! This is the best Imaginarium I have been to in SoCal. The area itself is larger than other events and the light shows are just GRAND. It feels endless, the more we walked, the more we discovered there were more stuff going on. Totally worth the ticket price around $20 and parking was additional. There was an unlimited ride ticket for $35 additional but I think the light show was already much more than what we expected. read more

I actually really enjoyed this light festival. It's a tad different than a few others that I've been to because it had alot more picture moments near the entrance. In terms of the lights themselves... they were okay. You can tell it had this enchanted theme and many of the exhibits had dragons and other mythical creatures. The carnival shows that it came with were certainly budget but that's what made them funny and entertaining. Overall I paid $60 for two and a whopping $17 for parking so it's not exactly cheap but I also spent a surprising 2 hours 15 minutes so it's really what you make of it. Such a cute and family event. I brought my mom, the kids, my sister and her kids to this new event. Since it was at the Pomona fairplex, parking, entrance, and entertainment was free and great. Event started at 5pm and we got there roughly at 6. Tickets were fairly priced and it wasn't too crowded. Dress warm. There was plenty of parking. Went through a brief security check and walked right in. Right when you walk in there are a series of little pods with decorated flowers. Sooo pretty and loved it. Over a mile of lights to go through and so many picture perfect moments. There are food/snacks at the event. Chicken/steak sandwiches, quesadillas, bread bowls, tacos, funnel cake, churros, frozen bananas, popcorn, hot cocoa. Some areas had "snow" which the kids loved. I believe the theme was dragons this year (maybe for Chinese New year). The family loved it. read more

Ticket purchasing is an easy process, I say it's worth the price since there's a whole lot of sites to see. 10/10 though for the effort put into this project. Interesting light white event at the Fair Plex in Pomona. Went in without much expectation only to be impressed. Waking in, there are initial stalls set up with different themes for photo opportunities. Passed that you other stalls with photo opportunities, the difference is these are more fluid and moving, like in the universe or among a garden of lights. In the center of that area is a holiday theme of lights and a snow machine. After this the theme changes to fantasy and you enter a light world of dragons, fairies and gnomes. And while the Christmas theme and the fantasy theme don't necessarily meld together (I didn't even talk about the pirate ship show), the lights and designs are vivid and pop with color. It was better than I expected. There's also a circus show in which we saw a hula hoop act, a guy who would do hand stands on chairs and a motorcycle in a cage act. And while these acts were interesting in their own right, they definitely didn't fit into the light theme of the Imaginarium nor into the flow of it all (neither did the pirate show). This was our first time visiting Imaginarium360 at the Pomona Fairgrounds. We took our daughter, son in law and 2 granddaughters (ages 3 & 5) and had a wonderful time. It was clean, well maintained, and the various holiday and light shows were exceptionally well done! They were interactive and age appropriate. It was easy access for strollers, wagons and wheelchairs. The Enchanted Forest and Endless Mirrors were the highlights. It was very festive with a storybook feel. Enjoyment for all ages! The cost was fairly reasonable and parking is $17 (credit cards only), but worth the 2.5 hrs. we spent exploring the venue. What impressed us the most was the holiday spirit of all guests .... no obnoxious behavior . . . it was filled with families out to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season. Brought my kids here because the website advertises "photos with Santa" and we needed to take those, figured we could see some pretty lights and displays at the same time. The lights are pretty but Santa was nowhere to be found. There is no photos with Santa like the website explicitly says. Had my kids all dressed up under the impression we could take a Santa photo there. We asked the staff and they said sometimes Santa will be walking around and will stop in a random wooden photo op box for a picture. Not at all what we were expecting. Website says "experience holiday magic" "photo with santa til dec 24" "circus shows". So I decided to pay for tickets so my kids can enjoy. We went there on Christmas eve with my family excited to see Santa, circus shows. However, it was drizzling during that time so circus shows were cancelled and there was no Santa. It was too muddy to go around the garden area where the huge flowers and mythical creatures at, which I think it doesnt even fit the Christmas theme. So we just went around to see the lights. First impression, It just looks like a fair with lots of christmas lights and photo boxes for instagram photos. Entrance is almost $30 each, rides not included. Parking is another $18. I feel like it was waste of money since there are other places to see lights and take photos for free. I emailed them about their policy if it rains, no response. Budget is very tight these days but I want my kids to enjoy, we should have spent it on food instead and look at other christmas lights for free. So disappointed. Will never recommend. read more
