It's cramped when the lot is full of cars, but with some coordinating, you just pull up and they will look at your car right away. The mechanics are upfront when they talk to you, but you don't feel swindled. I told them that there was a nail in my tire and air was leaking, but they said they didn't see anything. Just persist and they put my car on a jack and removed my tire. Sure enough, they removed the nail and patched my tires...even the one that was "unsalvageable". Paid $30 + tip. Good service for quick fixes!

I called and got the ok to have it dropped off at the 988 garage. John was the "Service Professional" that would be doing this work. I called and he quoted me $80-100 to replace the coil and spark plug and an oil change. I thought it was a reasonable rate and I agreed. He said he would do that but no work could be done today bc he's been drinking. I said (my car was already there) "Next week is fine." He texted and Re-quoted me "$160. And there's an oil leak. Is that ok? It's too much work to fix the oil leak, I don't want to do it but will try to patch it Oil Change and replace coil. for $160". "Fine". Long story longer, he texted me Monday to let me know it's ready, I scheduled to pick it up within the hour. I was there in 30 minutes. He wasn't. I texted, I'm outside. Called, nothing. 15 minutes later I left. Three hours later he texted back. I'm on the other side. Annoyed. Finally, two days later, I get there, pay him, "Thank you!" he hands me my keys and goes inside. I start my car and it seemed to be misfiring same as when I dropped it off. Also the 60% oil light was illuminated but the engine light was not. It was at 60% when I dropped it off. So no oil change was done. My ride left and It seemed ok to drive so I left. At this point, I was spending a lot of money, the car was older and I was overdue for a new car. I needed to trade it in. It's fixed (I thought) bc the engine computer light was off. So when I took it to get assessed, the guy asked if I had work done recently. "Yes I just picked it up. I had the coil changed and an oil change, within the past two months the list goes on." He said "No, it needs to be changed, it's misfiring and my diagnostic machine showed that all was done was the computer was cleared out but it's showing other work that was done prior and the dates of everything." I contacted John and asked what I was charged for?? The coil was not replaced nor was the spark plugs and all he said was "Dealer games, they're lying". Um, yeah..What are the odds I can get my, *$160 in cash only with no receipt* back?

He has done this several times. Telling me dont waste your time getting this done, or wait for this or that ( even if he could of made more money ), you dont need to do all of that now. Never had an issue. Very stand up mechanic and knows what hes doing. Highly Recommended.

This business uses the spaces from the surrounding businesses to park their customer's cars that need repairs. The office is extremely small and uncomfortable. The lady who works at the front desk is super unprofessional, she was mixing up customer's car keys and did not even write down or label the car keys. It's a total mess and she has no idea what she's doing. If you try calling, they do not answer the phone at all. We tried calling several times during the week and weren't able to get ahold of anyone who works there. We took the car because the air was not getting cold there was only hot air coming out, it costed $800+ to get it fixed because we had to order a new piece for the car. The day we went to go pickup the car a bunch of white smoke came out and the stopped working again. On top of that the mechanic tried fixing something else that was not supposed to be fixed. We took the car to another mechanic and it turns out Auto Ruiz Repair misdiagnosed the car and changed a part that wasn't even the problem. So we paid $800+ for absolutely nothing. Do not ever go to this repair place unless you want to destroy your car. The people here have no idea what they're doing. Also, I'm pretty sure the people who gave this place 5 stars were paid or are friends/family members.
