My wife and I took both our cars in (Honda Civic and Ford Expedition) to replace the air compressors, starter, tune-up, and to also have them looked over before driving across the country. They explained, thoroughly, why we needed certain issues fixed especially since we'd be towing our 4,000 lb trailer. We arrived safely in our new state with both air conditioners working perfectly and both running great. My friend, who helped us drive, even mentioned how smooth my Honda drove (which was surprising since I've had numerous issues before going to All JAP Cars). To say I'm relieved is an under statement. This is probably TMI lol, but y'all have no idea how many times I've literally cried because my air conditioner wasn't working (I spent $1,600 to have it replaced once before and living in Florida with NO a/c is...). As a woman dealing with a mechanic can be a huge challenge as many rightly assume that you know nothing about how the vehicle works and therefore are ripe to be taken advantage of. I've been seeing Ron for just over a year after reading yelp reviews. Yet again, Yelp has not steered me wrong. Ron has time and time again serviced my Honda Accord and my Subaru Forester honorably and admirably. I recommend all my friends visit him. He is honest and wants your vehicle to last as long as you want it last. Maybe longer. He goes above and beyond and his rates are respectable. I have never had a scheduling a conflict, and I usually go in on Saturday mornings, even calling the day before, he will always fit me in. I ran into some serious trouble with my alternator last March. I replaced it at another shop in Kansas City 6 months previously. Ron assured me it would be covered by warranty, had me call the shop in KC and got Ron in contact with them. All Jap Cars replaced my alternator free of charge. He's loaned me batteries before, replaced spark plugs free of charge, doesn't charge diagnostic fees for a simple coder, my list goes on and on with how impressed I am by him and his employees. As a "girl" going to a mechanic alone with a car problem is one of the most detested errands I've ever had to run. Throw in a very limited understanding of how a car works and trying to get any work needed for the least amount of money and you have a recipe for failure. No way would I ever come out ahead. This is the only shop I use now. I brought my Toyota Tacoma for a vibration coming from the front end. After balancing my tires and checking my front end alignment they told me my tires were bad. My tires were worn unevenly and balancing them helped but this would happen again and I needed to replace the tires. When it came time for the bill they said there was no charge even though I offered to tip their mechanic. This is the second time I've been here and left feeling like I was treated honestly. read more

This shop is great! They are very thorough in explaining things and costs and even help you with finding it online and bringing the part in for them to put on. Also as a female I don't feel scammed or "dumb" when I go and if I don't know what something is, they take the time to explain it to me. I've been going here for about 2 years now with my Audi and Infiniti and will not take it elsewhere, not even to the dealership usually. They actually care about your car and your budget and will make sure that you get done only what you need - I was told I needed things done at Infiniti and took it here to do it a little cheaper and ended up spending $600 less and only needed two of the three services required. I brought my car to All jap cars for a 2nd look when it should have been the first. Previously I took my car to The tire choice and was told I need an engine swap because I had a loss of compression on my engine. All they did was a pressure test to determine this option of doing an engine swap with an engine that had over 130k miles on it while mine has only 70k. I said no to the swap which was going to be close to 4k. I brought my car over to All jap cars and they said that they will take a look. They removed the valve cover, seen it had a broken rocker arm( in which case prevents from the cylinder from getting any pressure due to the exhaust valves staying in the open position), got my parts, installed new parts, car was running like new again for way less than the cost of a swap.
