Let me start by saying when I contacted the garage yesterday I spoke with Alex, he remembered me and the conversation of the unique parts issue I was having... That conversation was a month ago so very impressed that he retained all the information. This is a garage where truly skilled, old school mechanically capable men work. I took my car here to do some work and something on the seat was broken which at first it looked like it was something that happened at the shop, it turned out that it seemed to have been glued before. Brought my car in for the front brakes & an oil chance. Pete's said $415. Took my car to my usual place $297. Added them cleaning the back brakes & still I paid $328 was my total. It was so funny I called Pete's 45 mins after I left there, with that $415 written quote, & asked how much just to do just the front brakes they told me $261 that's with labor & tax now include. So how does $55 oil change added make the price $415 when I was there in person 45 mins before. All good things about Pete's Complete. Starting with me calling on a Sunday, expecting a recording to tell me what time they opened the next day. I was surprised when someone happily answered. Alex was happy to help me with my questions about work to be done including tires, oil change and scratches. I work late so I was thrilled when he told me I could drop it off that night and leave the keys in the dropbox clearly labeled on the door. He called me the next morning with an estimate for tires, a synthetic oil change and wipers- completely reasonable pricing. I then asked him to check into a few other things as my car was a "where's Waldo" of little issues. They found every one! He was quick to call me back after the original work was complete and went over the additional things. All prices were reasonable and the service was beyond what I could have expected. TERRIBLE SERVICE.Went for an oil change and brought my OWN oil AND filter and they wanted to charge me $35 for "manual labor" when a regular oil change where they provide everything is $55. & to top it off they put 5quarts into my 4.2q car when i specifically said i wanted it to be somewhat close to the normal oil capacity & get the extra oil left back. 5 mins after I left, my car started smoking and turns out the didn't do all the screws and all my oil was leaking out. I found Pete's on a search after realizing that my previous tire place changed ownership and has horrible reviews as a result. I needed a couple of tires, rotation and alignment so I stopped by in passing thinking I'd probably have to make a future appointment. Theres nothing bad to say here, I scheduled about 2 hours to install brakes and rotors. They were done in 2 hours 11 minutes, this included not having a bolt they needed to remove the rims and getting it from somewhere somehow while I worked on my laptop and ate my lunch in their air conditioned waiting room.
