I didn't ask for this either.. the Pharmacy in Abingdon was going transfer it, then found out it was transferred to another place, they advised me to find out why they did that, when I didn't authorize it! I tried calling this location and they never answered, I tried calling the GM and held tight for 10 minute, and no answer, also as many times as I have told your pharmacy to text when ready, they only did it once, thats not ok either! We have recently moved here and, in Illinois, this was pretty easy to get. We would go to our Jewel Deli, get chicken and some sides, and head home. Here I found that the person behind the counter told me to walk to the other side of the store, which I did, to get prepackaged chicken, which they were out of. So I came back and it was CLEARLY OBVIOUS that this lady did not want to help us. She ran behind the doors and didn't come out for some time; by then we decided to just leave and go to Bojangles and just pay more. Hands down, I will never go to the deli at this store again.

I have heard them talking to other workers about other customers asking where onions were and other items and actually heard them complain about those people. They take no time to show you where anything is and when they are stocking and have boxes stacked on one side of the aisle and they are opposite, the big buggies are hard to get through so l say excuse me....then pardon me and the guy slung what he had aside and gave a disgusted look. I hope the Tennessee store hires better workers. The ones that work in Bristol Virginia must have crawled out from under rocks. Customer service should be better than that. Time to clean house.

The cashiers are friendly and courteous for the most part, especially the more mature ladies. Some of the younger ones are as well. But then again, I engage them in conversation. I recently completed a survey from FC regarding service. One question asked about baggers taking my groceries to my car. I have never had anyone offer that service to me! Speaking of bagger personnel, they are mostly incompetent and do not do an adequate job. I am all for, and respect that FC employs younger people and some mentally challenged people, but they need training/re-training on the proper way to bag your groceries. When a cashier bags my groceries, it is much, much better!

I was told "I wasn't performing to their standards" because I sat down after the store closes at night and they were demoting me to cashier. Now if I wasn't doing my job as said why would you keep me at all? This place is full of cliques and if you aren't part of them you won't last long. Needless to say I found another job and moved on. Blessing in disguise, I'm making double what I was being paid and working in a fantastic field. This chained supermarket is nice,clean and indeed super in terms of size. The sale items are much cheaper than back home. Since i don't supermarket hopping often, I can't compare it. The deli is nice and has put a lot of heart and effort to make the market enchanting. The deli has a daily sandwich special for $3.99. Saturday was a deli-turkey,so the three of us bought one each. The hot-food-sectionhas the usual, Fried and rotteserrie chicken and BBQ beef-ribs,which has been sitting the hot-case a long period of time. The one item in the hot-case that brought me into curiousity are Grits. I never had grits. So I bought a small container for a try, and it was "desert-dry". I needed water after that. My daughter is a college student without a car. We wired her money via Western Union and called to…read morecheck the store location. My daughter walked twenty minutes there (in the heat) and was told the manager(s) who were able to distribute cash left at 2:00 p.m. So she walked another twenty minutes back to campus. We then spent well over an hour on the phone arranging an Uber ride, etc to take her to a different location. We should've been told about the 2:00 p.m. deadline when we called and all of this hassle could've been easily avoided. I called and spoke to one of the managers, Kathy, who was incredibly nice. However, we've spent a bunch of time and now incurred an expensive Uber ride due to the miscommunication on the part of this store. In my opinion , they should do something for her.
