This is for the LONG BEACH location near Krispy Kremes. Overall, my medical visit was good with the exception of one person. The front desk girls Yami and Jeanette were so nice and helpful even though I was a walk in. They both answered my questions when I checked in and checked out. I had lots of questions with insurance changes. The blond doctor and the two MAs were great too. I had one MA that did my vital and she was great. Her name was Brenda. The one that drew my blood Dilia was really nice since my original MA Brenda went on lunch. Dilia was nice enough to spell her name out. Everyone was really nice. The only bad thing I have to say was the MA supervisor. It was a pretty full lobby for medical and mental health. I heard a different patient say her name was Tracy. Tracy just kept walking back and forth and didn't seem to be helping her staff. She even talked down on her front desk staff and not even pull her in a private room. I kind of felt embarrassed for the front desk staff. It was rather unprofessional. Tracy seems to not have a real job and doesn't seem to be a team player. If she's that rude to her staff imagine her trying to help the patient. Krispy Kreme was my treat for getting my blood done. They don't have the covid vaccine here but they do have it at their compton location. Closest pharmacy are CVS and Rite Aid. read more

I'm glad I came to get services here and worked with people that care like Jackie, Maricela and Beda. I want to know how Beda powers through everything and always has an answer. Thanks to her connections I kept my housing, I'm working on my residency and now my own business. She was always available to help and answer questions. Beda encouraged me to be my own boss and taught me to believe in myself. She calls me Brow wizard I love the way she motivates me and anyone she comes across,Its nice to know that women like these exist and help us get better. Every time I need an appointment I get it right away and I get to see my doctors right away. Anytime I need anything from Roads community care clinic it is done right away with care for the patient. Dr. Paul A is my very first psychiatrist & from my experience, the man has done nothing but be kind, funny, & even comforting if you would, but most importantly HONEST. I've always thought therapy is bullshit. Like yo, what's talking gonna do for me? But like the saying goes "you can't bullshit a bullshitter!" My friend recommended me to come and I gotta say I got me a Bad B for a therapist---- straight shooter, no bullshit, force to be reckoned with Latina. She straight up said "yeah just talking won't resolve anything, we gotta move into action!" So like the other saying goes: "Ask and you shall receive!" My mom made an appointment. Got there 10 minutes early. Waited 1 hour and went to check with receptionist (had to beg for the receptionist attention) told her it was almost her turn. If can rate "NO STAR", I would. My mom had appointment with Dr Ha Son Nguyen at 1:00pm. We got to the clinic at 12:40pm. We filled out ton of paperwork since she was new patient. Then we waited in the front waiting room. At 2:00pm, my mom was called vital sign and the nurse asked her which Dr was she seeing today. Then we waited again in the back waiting room. At 2:15, one of the nurse took us into a room to wait. Another nurse came 5 mins later and asked if my mom provided urine test. I told her no one told us she needs and she just went to restroom. At this point, we just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. At 2:30, Dr came in and started talking very low voice and looking at the nurse. I didn't realize that he was asking questions about my mom. After I responded his questions, he barely made any eyes contact. And honestly his questions and his way of asking feel very uncomfortable to answer. This Dr is not professional at all, especially for OB YGN some topic are very sensitive and private, should be ask in a professional way and make patient feel comfortable. Overall, I didn't have bad experience with nurse, but Dr is a big not going back there again. read more

Really bad place. I went about a year ago and saw a nurse practitioner named Paul arrullo. He like verbally attacked me and blamed me for all my mental health issues and said my problem was that I blamed everyone for my problems, just because I talked to him about how I was abuser and my toxic home triggered my symptoms?? And he also kept asking me about my religious beliefs and if u believed in God and when I refused to answer him. He said that it was because I didn't believe in God that I wasn't better. I then told him I did because I do, but wtf I'm not gonna talk to a nurse about my beliefs. And then when I said I do he told me that it wasn't my fault that I was suicidal and that I had all my problems. Like wow you freak. I tried to complain about him but they said that d have to file forms and I was already an emotional wreck more suicidal than I had been before I went in. Like bro I told you how I've had bad experiences with men and I'm distrustful of them and fearful and you just went and exploited that and swung around your insignificant degree as a NURSE. And told me you'd been in the business for 4 years so I could tell you how to do you job, just because I was asking you to stop harrasing me. I wish I had complained on time but it's been over a year now. The most I can do is leave a review. I hope next time you mistreat anyone again, esp someone in such a vulnerable position that you lose your job. This clinic will waste your time. The staff in the medical department of the office gets a bad attitude when a patient needs to check in for an appointment or needing another appointment. The wait time is extremely long and no sanitizing of the seating area the whole 3 hours in this clinic. I do not recommend this clinic especially if needing to get results for pregnancy testing. They will say your negative just to force a blood test on you. **BEWARE** of the Hispanic girl with red hair, she will only talk about what she had for lunch and over look her duties at hand. I switch to this clinic about a year ago and it was the worst mistake ever. The staff are always rude. Specially the front desk girls. And you can not count of management to fix it cause they are as rude as the front desk. The nurse and phlebotomist don't know what they are doing either. I'm here for TB reading which needs to be done before 8:30am and the front desk doesn't care that it pass that time. A TB reading needs to be done by certain time or it won't count. It's been a tough year and even harder to get an appointment to get seen for psychiatry. Thankfully I got referred here and was seen by Dr. Paul. He took his time and explained things I was having a hard time understanding. I needed assistance with completing my unemployment paperwork and Beta helped me. I was laid off back in March and with their help I was able to get my back pay real quick. It was so stressful and knowing I can get help to fix my problems made things so much better I feel lighter. Clean and modern. Great doctors, newest equipment and excellent preventative care. All of the doctors are great. My doctor, Dr. Bene is the best. She specializes in female care and really cares about the health of her patients, instead of pushing prescription drugs like most facilities. I can go to any facility for care, but my entire family receives care at Rhodes. They are truly a blessing and it's great to be able to receive excellent healthcare in my community. read more

Horrible experience here! First off the people in the front desk are bipolar and you have to be lucky if you catch them on their good days. I have been coming here for a year because I did not have time to find another doctor and I didn't want to deal with my insurance company. But I will never do that again. The wait is extremely long even with appointments. I have had trouble breathing and my "doctor" Benny told me that I was exaggerating about my pain of not being able to breathe! She said it was all in my head but she still grudgingly prescribed me an inhaler because I would not leave until she did! I was so mad that she told me that and I just couldn't believe it. I went in a few months later to get a new inhaler prescription and I couldn't be seen! Apparently my assigned doctor was not there. I explained that I had been coming here and that I was on the phone with the insurance people in THEIR OFFICE and they heard me make the switch a while ago. But no to them I never made the switch. I ended up going to urgent care in UCLA Harbor center where I waited for nearly 4 hours. But thankfully I was finally diagnosed with what I had suspected all along. ASTHMA! I thought I was pregnant with our fourth child, although home tests came out negative. A lady had handed my husband an advertisement for this clinic at a local grocery store and they advertised free ultrasounds, so I went in to check it out, and they did no such thing. I went and waited for 4 hours that day on a walk in. Finally, when the nurse saw me and I explained to her that I felt like I was pregnant, even though the home tests came out negative. She responded by saying that was strange and proposed that I may have been having a psychological disorder where you think you are but you're not which, while possible, was unprofessional. When we finally had the fetal Doppler and a heartbeat was heard, I asked her if that was my heartbeat or a baby's, and she acknowledged it was the baby's. Turns out I was pregnant and wasn't crazy after all! ROADS is not the best place to go to if you're seeking prenatal care. They do not have ultrasounds there. Because I had high blood pressure with my pregnancy, I had to be referred to a specialist for my prenatal care. However, from the time I first came in to the time I was approved to see the specialist was two months. Two months of no prenatal care for a pregnancy in which I had high blood pressure, a pregnancy considered high risk. The reason for the wait was because ROADS took a very long time in transferring my paperwork to the specialist. I called many times and left messages that were never returned. I even came in a couple of times and the receptionists and others working there all seemed confused. "This person didn't put it in the system...", those kind of excuses. Every time I had an appointment there my wait time would be 2 to 3 hours. As I've read a couple of other reviews, my experience is confirmed with theirs: very long wait times and a doctor that has a posture of skepticism toward conditions one may have. ROADS is a place only if there are no other options. However, there are many other options out there that would be a better experience this this place. read more
