Not too shabby for an Alaskan bar/restaurant. Food always hits the spot and drinks are always on point. Will definitely be back. Food is available until 9:00 pm!

This is the first time in the history of first times that a 12 oz Ribeye has been served to me with a whopping 1/4" thickness. Are you kidding me?!?!

Everything was great. The spicy tots with sauce I need in my life. Service and food all worth the stop!

This review is written from the perspective of someone who has worked in a successful cat cafe,…read moresimilar if not the exact same type of experience to cafe guests, lounge visitors, and potential adopters. The cafe side was wonderful, extremely yummy coffee with great service. The cat lounge, now of course getting to spend time with some lovely kitties while relaxing music plays is a 5-star experience, however, there are a few areas where they could do better to enhance the experience for guests as well as the kitties. 1) There were A LOT of people (12) for our time slot in comparison to kitties in the room and seating capacity. That's not only overwhelming for the kitties but also the guests. 2) Kiddos of all ages are allowed, which is great for the kids, but at the same time, the safety and wellbeing of the cats should have been kept in mind making this decision. Having a minimum age seems to be more reasonable than allowing all ages and expecting parents to adequately monitor their children at all times. 3) There was a single "cat concierge" in the room with the group of 12 for our timeslot, this group was more or less 50% kiddos. The "cat concierge" seemed to be expected to monitor the kitties, monitor guests and remind us of rules (more so kiddos), take phone calls, and mess with their phone all at the same time. One thing that ended up bothering me was when I asked if the cats were adoptable and how many adoptions they had helped facilitate since opening and the gal was hesitant to answer the question, as to spare the feelings of the kids in the room, and acted like the questions were a burden? 4) The room was COLD, kitties are happiest and safest in temps of 68°F to 77°F and even warmer for kittens, which there were many of. 5) It seems the partner adoption services and the cafe could do a better job at prequalifying their kitties to be placed at the cafe. There was one cat who was not happy to be around other cats. I'm sure most cat people understand that an upset kitty is not just a liability for harm to other kitties but also to humans who may unknowingly end up in between the beef. Overall, decent experience, but don't think we will be back unless there are changes to their operations or until we are specifically looking to adopt another kitty.

"The Only Café Where the Staff Might Sit on Your Lap"…read more I walked into the Alaska Cat Café expecting coffee. I was not expecting to be immediately judged by 12 fluffy supervisors who clearly believed I was unqualified to enter their establishment. One tuxedo cat stared at me like I owed him rent. Another tried to steal my Americano. 10/10 atmosphere. The coffee? I tried to leave twice, but a giant floof blocked the door like a furry troll demanding payment in head scratches. I now live here. Would I come back? Yes. Would I bring friends? Also yes, but only the ones who understand they are not the main characters--the cats are. Final verdict: Coffee: 10/10 Feel: Cozy chaos Staff: Very sweet Chance of leaving with cat hair on your soul: Guaranteed

Friendly service and I got a crème brûlée boba tea , regular sweetness and then a tiramisu to go. Husband later devoted the delicious treat, I drank my yummy tea on way home. The boba was the softest I've had (although I haven't been drinking bubble tea long at all) and when I got near the bottom the crème brûlée taste was super on point! Must have been resting in the top layer, and I had a bit of a hard time stirring because driving. I am definitely going to return here to try more of their beverages!!

The menu has a variety of options labeled as Taiwanese style, Japanese style, Thai style, Seoul style iced coffees & fruit tea fusions. The tea is brewed in house, and the Taiwanese & Thai style drinks you are able to customize the sweetness level. I love a spot where you can customize your drink. I also appreciate how the menu is divided by different styles. I ordered a 24oz creme brûlée brown sugar milk tea, and a 16oz kiwi jasmine green tea. I ordered them with a standard level of sweetness. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side you will definitely want to customize the teas to a higher sweetness level. The tea was really good & strong. The boba was fresh, and perfectly chewy. Service was quick, friendly & attentive. The spot does have a few tables if you want to sit & enjoy your drinks. It's clean & very open with wood accents. I can't wait to try more of their menu. The Seoul style coffee drinks were also calling my name! If you want a traditional boba spot in the valley you need to check out Hana's House!
