I Can't Comment On The Coffee Since I Ordered A London Fog, But The Food, Why Are They Even Serving Food Here? I Ordered A Burrito Bowl, And While Waiting, I Noticed The Barista Pull A Container Of Pre-Made Ingredients From The Fridge, Scoop It Into A Bowl, And Microwave It. What?! I Don't Go Out To Eat Just To Be Served Microwaved Food. If You're Going To Have Food On The Menu, It Should At Least Be Fresh. Unfortunately, The Taste Didn't Make Up For The Disappointment. Just explaining why I'm not going back after going frequently for sometime time now. When I arrive and see a flavored coffee on the list - I expect it to be available. Not that it ran out before 10 am and they aren't making any more. You pay for coffee ---- and then find out they ran out before 10 AM and aren't making any more flavored. Some of us find that very annoying. I only made the drive for flavored coffee So not going back. - done wasting time on the drive. read more

I bought coffee beans here and realized they weren't ground. I was out later in the day and stopped by with the bag what turned out to be shortly after closing on a Saturday afternoon. A woman came to the door and when I nicely explained that I just wanted the beans ground she very rudely stated I could come back tomorrow. I asked please could you because I would have to leave my house to drive there then drive home. And they don't open until 8 on Sunday. Again she said no and then closed the door in my face. It would have taken her about 10 seconds to make it right. Poor customer service ensures I'll never return. And that I'll take the time to warn others. I've worked in the restaurant industry decade. I was severely disappointed: bad quality, and I had to pour my own coffee, and then they charged a regular premium roaster price. I saw the positive reviews and was tricked into driving out of my way 12-15 minutes to try it out. I thought, ok, good reviews, proper espresso machine and beans in the photos, I'll try. It was bad coffee and service. Details below. I asked the "barista" what bean she recommended. She said the Kenya light roast. I asked for that as an americano. She said they can't do it?? The espresso machine is right there. Just pull the double shot and add the hot water! So I asked, with what items can I get the light roast bean? She said espresso shots. Ok, so the board had espresso shots listed as 12, 16, and 20(?) ounce sizes... I asked her to clarify, such as is that single, double, triple shot? She didn't answer coherently. After unclear answers and changed answers for the next minute about how I could possibly enjoy the light roast pulled from the espresso machine..I gave up. She said the case au lait was still from the Kenya. I accepted that even though it's not espresso based. But then she handed me a cup and asked me to go to the rear wall, pour my own coffee, and bring it back for her to add milk. That's also a new one for me--at a so-called roaster--that they didn't have the drip coffee behind the bar and made me go back and forth to self-serve. I poured my coffee, went back, then waited 1-2 minutes. Her coworker at this end of the bar ignored me, and she walked over finally to add milk. And of course, charging me prices of a proper roaster. I doubt they source and roast their beans. The drip coffee was more watery than a k-cup which costs 33 cents at home. I had to self-serve. They were horribly confusing. I paid them full price of a proper experience and product but got the worst of quality AND service. I am spoiled by national and international competition winning roasters, but any small kiosk or work-deli with an espresso machine can pull a manual shot and make me an americano or tell me the size and price of their shots. And any business calling themselves "Roasters" should not be worse than airport coffee or McDonald's. It should be 100x better. I can pull my own shots at home; I shouldn't pay full price for service only to self-serve. Avoid them here until they learn how to run a cafe. read more

Roasters Coffee House has always been a favorite over the years. It's close to a car dealership and service center, so we usually enjoy the short walk. It's a great place to relax and wait while the car is being serviced. The coffee and pastries are delicious. Today I met the owner, and purchased some whole bean fresh roasted coffee. The bag of beans was filled fresh with the roasting date handwritten on the bag. Nice! read more

What a happenin' little place! We love the NewBo location so finding one right by our house was exciting. It's in the strip between Tomaso's Pizza and Pita'z, with whom they actually share a connected space. The smell of coffee hits you as soon as you approach the building. There's quite a bit of seating in the form of comfy chairs, booths, or tables. They've got a wide selection of delicious drink options as well as some bottled offerings and baked goods. The prices are affordable, can't forget to mention the incredible deals on refills. We had two dirty chais and two scones, cinnamon and chocolate chip. read more

I love this place, but not as much as I love their freshly roasted coffee. I come here to study and leave smelling like a coffee bean, and I'm certainly not mad about that. I like their smooth Costa Rican brew the best. The service is friendly, and the wifi is good. I can't speak to their pastries much, but I tried their mini scones once and they were tasty and moist. A refill of joe will cost a mere 50 cents. I recommend it also for a coffee with a friend. read more

About a week ago my friend and I each ordered coffee and I ordered a breakfast sandwich to split between the two of us. We waited quite a while for the sandwich and when I asked about it, the individual who waited on us told me that the sandwich burned, and then turned and walked away from me without another word. I waited a few minutes and asked if a new one was going to be made, and the reply I received was a rude sounding "obviously!". And when she brought the sandwich to my table she was quite short with me. I understand they were very busy, and things happen. I don't believe she needed to be rude about it. Every Thursday afternoon, I try to go to a coffee shop to get out of the office in order to work on my sermon. At first it was Panera, then I moved to Java Creek. Thankfully by word of mouth I stumbled upon Roasters and its now my first choice for a place to hang out and get some work done. The place roasts all their own coffee, and on any given afternoon has at least five or six different brews available. I love good coffee and I find the taste of the coffee at Roasters to be exceptional. The prices are very reasonable (they are cheaper than Java Creek and the baked goods are better...) For a place to hang out, its not too bad either. On a Thursday afternoon it's not too busy. A bonus of course is the free Wi-Fi too. All in all this is a great and somewhat well kept secret. read more

Love this space! I meet my book club here bi-weekly. I normally opt for a simple cup of coffee with cream to watch my calories. They have a nice variety from a few countries that are know for coffee. The Costa Rican brew normally makes its way into my cup. The service is amazing, very friendly at 7am when it really counts. This is a great place to meet with a friend or a group to talk business or pleasure. There is also another room that I have seen open on occasion to accommodate larger groups. read more

Great coffee place on Center Point Rd! I had the white chocolate mocha and it was just as tasty as Starbucks and I think was less expensive. They also have a good food menu of which I did not partake but other customers orders made my mouth water. Fantastic coffee beans, especially the blends, and especially the "Home, Sweet Home" blend. Beans are roasted nearly every morning, so you can usually choose beans that were roasted VERY recently by looking at the dates on the bags on the shelf. Brewed coffee in-store hasn't hit the same highs as the beans in my limited experience (I normally get beans and go). Perhaps they're using up the older beans, or perhaps the hold time gets a little long in the late afternoon when I am most likely to drop by. read more

Roasters is absolutely the best Coffee house you will find. A friend of mine recommended them to me a year ago, and I wish he would have sooner. They have an amazing selection of fresh beans roasted in house, with a large selection of those marked as Fair Trade Organic which is something I'm big on. The beans are always fresh, no month old beans, and priced perfectly! Most of the time I'm in there, they are roasting fresh beans right there behind the counter in their big red roaster. It's nice to actually see where my beans are being roasted. Have you seen the machines starbucks uses? Me neither. I buy a pound of whole bean Ethiopia Yirgacheffe weekly, and everyone who I've let try it is blown away. The baristas and owner are also always extremely friendly and helpful (must be all the coffee) and I've never heard an ounce of "coffee snobbyness" from them when I hear people ask for weird things or have questions about a drink. 10 stars!!!!
