Reading Tiffany's story and her dream to open a restaurant, plus seeing the Berries and Cream French Toast on the menu, I decide to try. And I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive after I was seated. The ambiance was like that of a classic diner, which I am very fond of. Now for the food. I had the Berries and Cream Cheese French toast with a side of eggs over easy and bacon. The French toast with the cream cheese by itself was great. The homemade blueberry sauce took it to the next level. The bacon was just how i like mine cooked. Crispy yet chewy and the eggs were perfect. I decided to go back for lunch and ordered the Hot Beef open faced dinner on sourdough. It had been years since I'd feasted on one and this did not disappoint. It was a healthy portion which carried me over to dinner. I cannot say enough good things about the staff I interacted with. Tiffany, the owner. Amanda who took my order for lunch. Natasha for seating me and who kept checking on me as i dined for breakfast. And my server for breakfast who I forgot her name. She was equally as friendly and provided excellent service. Went in for lunch, they had a special for the day going which happen to be roast potatoes with carrots and toast! I didn't get to snap a picture because i was hangry but the service was great wasn't too busy but very comforting! Would definitely recommend if you're in for some comfort food ! I came in on my birthday with my sister and her husband. The atmosphere got me when we walked in. The food was epic!!! And above all that, even though they were crazy busy-sunday, the staff were top notch!!! They even made me a cherry coke that wasn't on her menu-----From Scratch!!! I love that most of the plates and coffee mugs didn't match. She had these sweet salt and pepper shakers- all different on every table!! 5 STARS for sure!!! Will most definitely go again!!! Amazing food and service! First time, we beat the Father's Day rush. The service was spot on, they had more servers than most restaurants and nailed it. Small town diner feel, in a city. When traveling, we like to try local spots vs chain restaurants. We took our chance on Tiffy Jo's and it did not disappoint. We chose this place as it had a mix of breakfast and lunch options, something for everyone. This establishment was clean with friendly service. We tried a mix of breakfast and lunch items. Very busy diner but they are really on it you never have to wait very long before your food comes. You always get a larger portion. Prices seem just a little less than other places. They have excellent servers. We always sit in Amber's section, but they are all good and fast. read more

This is such a cute little diner! I stopped in with my boyfriend for a late breakfast he had the loaded biscuits and gravy and I have the Nutella and banana stuff pancakes. Super friendly and attentive waitress! We also had ordered different flavored iced coffee which we weren't huge fans of and our waitress noticed we didn't drink much of them and asked if they tasted okay and had taken them off our total bill. The biscuits and gravy were so delicious. The size of our meals were really big for the price! We also got pancakes and they were huge and our kids loved them! We absolutely love Tiffy Jo's!! We've been a handful of times, and every time has been fantastic and on point! My hubby has gotten the cinnamon roll pancakes every time because he loves them, me I've tried the breakfast quesadilla, b & g, pancake sliders...always something different and everything has been great!!As for the energy bar part, the drinks are great too! Tiff always has something sugar-free for me and hubby always has a monster, last time Tiff suggested desert pear lime monster which was phenomenal! Came in on a Sunday at noon... probably about the busiest time of the week for a breakfast spot. And they were packed! But they were also HUSTLING to keep everyone taken care of. So we did have a bit of a wait, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was no problem. They had a nice variety of food choices, both breakfast or lunch options for all their open hours (7 AM-2 PM). I had the seasonal pumpkin pancakes and they were pretty tasty. Building was cute with different adorable salt and pepper shakers on every table. Also saw that someone who ordered hot tea was served in a beautiful china teapot/cup with flowers on it--such a cozy touch. Would be happy to visit again. read more

Fantastic restaurant! I went with my daughter, her toddler and 8 month old. They had a stand for her carrier, lots of fidgets and things for little people to do while waiting for their great food, and they brought a whole beautiful teapot of water and cup to match for my daughter's tea. Service was great on a busy Sunday morning, and all the little statues within reach of kids are thankfully glued down. They have a changing table in both the menos and women's bathroom, too. Am in Cedar Rapids visiting. Have been tryin different restaurants while here. Was excited to try Tiffy Jo's dinner after checking them out online. My boyfriend and I went this morning. Went in, could sit anywhere, they were prompt in taking our drink order. We sat there a while and watched a family and another couple come in after us and sat behind us and across from us. They took both of those tables orders and never came back to take our order. When the waitress ask the people behind us if they were ready to order I spoke up and said we are, she ignored me and kept on trucking. I got tired of being the invisible couple in the room. I went up to get our ticket for our drinks so we could leave, and explained why we were leaving. They said our waitress must not have seen me. Interesting enough the person who was supposed to be our waitress was assigned to the register and had walked part multiple times never stopping at our table. My boyfriend who is a beautiful carmel colored black man said it was normal for that type of treatment up north. There was only one other black person in the restaurant, which was a black lady surrounded by old white women. I will never darken this establishments door and 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! read more
