I walked in to get a hair wash and trim, all of the staff was very kind and welcoming. Jade fit me in and was so friendly. She fixed up my hair (I had given myself not so good bangs and a trim a few months earlier) and understood exactly what I was looking for based off my vague description. She also was excellent at putting beads of tinsel in my hair. I feel so much more confident after my experience and wanted all of the ladies there to know how awesome they are. Slay. read more

3 hours. Curly hair damaged, asked for short hair and showed a pic with ombre hair. Told her that maybe it was not going to bleach well so any color was fine, even all hair dark color. Said no and that she was not going to have time for the next appointment if she did that. I ended up paying a lot of money for a bunch of highlights all over my hair, yellow, because no toner was even used, and as soon as I walked out my hair looked like it was hit by lightning. Please AVOID. I had to go to Sallys to get hair dye because it was that bad. If I could give it zero stars I would. It would have looked better if I did it myself. read more

Very disapppointed. Having been a customer for over 15 yrs., much has changed. Wednesdays previously was ladies' day with a 10% discount. When I inquired about the discount, I was told that the stylist "forgot" and had to be reminded in advance of giving the discount. As I had already paid, it was too late to make the adjustment. In addition, the stylist had forgotten that she styled my hair 5 weeks ago! The stylist also asked if I was a referral (forgetting having previously styled my hair). read more

There is one person that works here and I believe that she is the manager. Her name is Jillian. If you can even begin to get an appt with her, please do! There will be not an ounce of disappointment. This lady LISTENS! Yep! and she totally KNOWS what she is doing. Wow, what an artist. She is to hair as da Vinci is to canvas. She is extremely professional and is not afraid to make recommendations as she sees in her mind. She takes everything into consideration. Shape of head, thickness or thinness of hair, color, age, personality, etc. She GETS IT. So like I say, should you be lucky enough to be able to book with her, you will NOT be disappointed. I've been here twice in the last 10 years...it was disappointing the first time and i was dumb enough to go back a second time! ...that's when I left with about 8 inches less hair than I was hoping to leave with. The lady butched my hair! and when I left balling my eyes out without paying, she actually called me a bitch on my way out the door. I was clearly devastated with my new manly haircut...I'm actually surprised she didn't call me an dick head. I wouldn't do it again if my life depended on a hair cut from Rob Roy. that was my experience. If u decide to go anyway, hopefully your experience turns out better.....muchhh betterr. read more

I have gone a few times for a trim and never had an issue. This time I went in for an eyebrow wax and a trim. While the eyebrows came out fine, my hair ( when straightened) was a chopped up mess. Come to find out that the stylist was a brand new student. Manager was professional in giving me a refund but I will not be retuning there. Paid $19 for a bad haircut. Went to great clips and all the stylists looked in horror when they saw my hair. Was told by the stylist who fixed my hair that it's going to take twice as long ( about 6 months) for my hair to grow back to where it originally was before the bad cut. I have never been this disappointed in my life. I understand hair grows back but when it happens to you, it's a totally different outcome. read more

I had my haircut by Debbie today. She did a fantastic job. I have thick, coarse hair and she did just as I asked. I have gone to "fancy" shops before and came out very disappointed. I am so happy I tried Rob Roy and I will be going back to see Debbie. The other stylists seemed very proficient as well. read more

Just moved into the area from NJ where average cut about 20 bucks. Walked in first thing Friday morning. Buffi said she could squeeze me in. 15 minutes later after a decent buzz cut and no shampoo they charged me 24 bucks and I was dumb enough to tip her 3 more. Come to find out after checking out the web site a men's shampoo and cut was advertised for 20. Completely ripped off. Stay away. I filed with the BBB. read more

I went in for a haircut,shampoo and style. OMG...I asked for a short stacked bob and came out with a pixie. I was totally shocked. What was there to style? I have very short hair !! No wonder the stylist didn't turn me to the mirror until she was done ! I saw myself and said ...hmmm it is short. Very disappointed.
