We contacted Byron Robertson of Robco and received an excellent large residential asphalt crack repair job in late October 2022. Byron gave us a very reasonable quote and discussed with us at length all aspects of the job. His very experienced employees, Drake and C.J. arrived on time and did an excellent job meticulously and efficiently filling all of the asphalt cracks-and there were many-without us having to say a word. Additionally, Byron suggested we wait on several projects until we had all aspects covered demonstrating he cares about us and not just making money. I called Robco last year to order 5 yards of 3/4- crushed rock for delivery, just like I had been doing for a number of years, only to be told by Tina that they only do 10 yards. I don't have space for so much at once, so I asked Tina to talk to Byron, who I had been emailing over the years for prices. Tina said she would get back to me that week. So far, months later, I have not heard back from Tina, nor have I had a reply from Byron to my email. I guess Robco has become too big to cater for a DIY homeowner like me. read more

We requested some fill dirt. The gal in the office promised it would be clean, no concrete chunks, etc. Eric Robertson brought us a bunch of fill, with HUGE chunks of concrete and some type of culvert pipe. These are huge pieces, some were so heavy we needed equipment to lift them. We believe the culvert pipes are sewage pipes. Whatever they brought us, my dogs sniffed and licked and vomited for a week afterwards. I called Eric Robertson, who brought out the fill and left a message. No call back. I called again, no call back. Finally I call the office, she takes a message and says he'll call. Nope. I call back twice more, and never got Eric to call me back. So, I run into a friend at Copeland paving and told him the story. He said it's very bad they abused our trust like that, and to call the other owner, Byron, because he will definitely care. So I call back, AGAIN, and tell her exactly what I was told, that Byron cares more. Well, it offended her a bit and she insisted, "We ALL care." Well guess what, Byron never called back either. I guess it's off to DEQ to get whatever in the heck they brought us tested. I've used them for rock/gravel for many, many years, but no more. Horrid customer service. read more
