(Zildjian Dennis Chambers Artist Model) Small neighborhood music stores teach, instruct, and provide music knowledge to us all! I recently found that the snare drum stand at my church was broken, a day before my Sunday morning Praise and Worship Session! Zak was there, and had exactly what I needed. We honestly didn't know what to expect and didn't know if they could play a song together. The staff at Bach to Rock were super nice and helped everyone learn their part. The kids were so happy they did play and sing. And they were all happy with their take away gifts and CDs. I was so impressed that Steve took the time to make eye contact with my daughter and carefully explained the seriousness of the responsibility of caring for an instrument. Then, when we returned her trumpet this summer (my daughter was ready to try something else), we signed her up for weekly guitar lessons. The lessons are very affordable and her evening class worked perfectly with my work schedule. I COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY that Steve is teaching guitar to my daughter. Without getting too personal, I will say this - I believe this incredibly talented, sensitive, generous professional young man would be an excellent teacher for ANY child or adult. This applies to Hilary, Amy, and Megan the Richmond and NJ locations. (So sorry if I've mucked up the spelling of your names!) Through this whole gut string breakage fiasco, they have been nothing but nice and understanding, and willing to work with you. I've successfully been able to sell a few of my harps on consignment through them, and are fair in their dealings. Please think about opening one up in the DC area, guys!
