Did a great job. They came back and repaired the problem. I'm pleased with the company.

I hired First Class Roofing Inc. in Winter Haven, Fl to replace the roof of my 86 year old "Florida…read moreStyle" house which has a steep roof. First Class Roofing Inc was experience in replacing steep roofs, they were the most reasonably priced and they are a Better Business Bureau A+ accredited business. Their website, www.1stclassroofingincfl.com, contains a lot of information on the company with a blog for different types of roofing inquiries. The project began on the date and time promised The roofing crew was obviously experienced and confident in their skills for dealing with a steep roof. It was done in a systematic and precise manner. At the end of each work day, the crew cleaned the yard of debris and left only the materials needed to work the next day. On the final day, they were meticulous with the final clean up and true to their statement on their website, they left my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. The Lead Residential Superentendant, Rickey Ellison, kept me informed regarding issues they encountered and the extra cost, if any, to correct the situation. The dark gray shingles on my yellow house look beautiful. It is above and beyond what I expected for a roof replacement. I would like to recognize the following roofing crew for a job well done: Lead Residential Superintendent Rickey Ellison Supervisor Salvador Foreman Daniel Crew members: Maricello Jullio Rola Adair Rosalina

(I was present during phones calls where leadership shopped for the lowest priced labor by the square). Before hiring this company, ask whose crews are actually performing the labor portion of the work. Having one high school buddy as a "project manager" to supervise a Home Depot labor crew doesn't make them "in-house" any more than lending them a "1st Class" t-shirt for the day does. From a sales perspective, I am going on 6 months of delays receiving my agreed-upon 1099 commissions for completed and fully funded projects. It's become a revolving cycle of "next week," "next month," "after Christmas," "after this next commercial check comes in," or "when we get back from traveling out of the country." While leadership still seems to have plenty of time for vacations, sales reps with families are over here chasing money they've already earned. Before accepting a sales position, go over every compensation agreement point by point, and ensure the commission verbiage, formula and payment timelines are all documented clearly in writing. They state not having to payout 1099 commission because I was given a company gas card while using my own vehicle to drive to roof inspections, and that I could have used one of their old iPads as justification for withholding pay). What was presented as a "percentage of GROSS revenue" was later recalculated after labor, overhead, and profit were removed from the numbers -- effectively turning it into a "percentage of NET" rather than "GROSS." Unfortunately, I'm not the only independent/ sub contractor on here with bills and a family who's had to deal with severe delays on pay. Like another contractor wrote, I tried the persistent respectful approach for 6 months hoping this could be resolved, and yet here I am with unanswered calls, texts, and voicemails.

AllPro inspected our home and gave us a report.  We trusted that they would perform a complete…read moreinspection, but once we purchased the home and began to move in there were lots of issues that should have been caught on the inspection.  1. The outside back wall of the garage is obviously had water damage and the wood underneath is warped and stuccoed over.  Just looking at it you can tell the wall bows in and out. 2. Toilet in guest bath does not flush.... there's an obvious issue and so far we've tried everything to fix including having the septic cleaned. Next step is a plumber.  3. Door bell doesn't work.... wiring is messed up. 4. The air on the garage side of the home doesn't work at all, but in the report you say it does. Bedrooms are cooled great but kitchen/pantry area does not.  5. There's lots of items from the previous owners in the attic we were unaware of and would have been good to know so they could have removed. 6. Massive amounts of mold found in the kitchen behind the refrigerator/stove extending through the walls into the laundry room.  This was found when we pulled the stove out. My cat is now at the Pet Hospital for respiratory failure and hope that he will recover.  I had no idea until why he was so sick until the mold was discovered were he spends most of his time. Although some of these issues are very minor I feel they should have been address so we had a chance to have corrected or reduced offer so we could fix. As a buyer I would prefer to know everything that is wrong and pick the issues I need to address with the sellers.  We trusted an inspection because we were living in another state, and I feel we weren't adequately informed of the homes conditions.  I trusted our realtor's recommendation of AllPro as an inspector. I would not recommend ALLPRO or Paul Ciszek to give all information to the buyer so they are well informed.
