After many years, my husband and I decided to try again. This time, we went through his insurance. We had such a horrible experience with the other clinic, we moved our leftover embryos back with Dr. Aimee. She gladly accepted to help us with our second. I cannot praise Dr. Aimee enough! She is a literal angel on earth. The reason we went to Dr. Aimee for our first son was because we didn't want to be treated like another number on a conveyor belt and she did not disappoint. Dr. Aimee goes above and beyond what anyone could ever expect as a patient. She has amazing bedside manners, she's hilarious and she answers any and all questions very thoroughly - I always wonder how she sleeps. If results didn't go our way, she showed us so much compassion. We never felt like another number/statistic and that's more than you can ever ask for while going through the stress of IVF. She might not take insurance, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've been with her for 2 retrievals, 6 years apart resulting in my 2 beautiful babies. We cannot thank Dr. Aimee enough! I've seen her practice expand and it's exciting to see how many more people she's able to help. Her team is AMAZING, warm and comforting. They communicate and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively. I never had any surprises with procedures or billing. We would recommend her a million times over because she is such a gem in Healthcare and an amazing human being. Thank you Dr. Aimee for helping us expand our family two times!! Saying we are greatful for Dr. Aimee is an understatement. We get to cherish our beautiful babies because of you. We love you!

I have been seeing Dr. Aimee for about a year now and figured it was time for a review. Although we have not been successful yet, I have been to several other clinics prior to Dr. Aimee and truly feel that she has been the best by far and wanted to lay out a few reasons: (1) Dr. Aimee personally saw me for every single appointment so she was the one doing my ultrasound and bloodwork. She also always took extra time to have us speak to her in her office after every appointment to go over next steps. That is a level of care I haven't seen at other clinics, where it is sometimes rare to see your doctor more than a few times the entire cycle. (2) I have been going through IVF for 4 years, which means I have had many many ultrasounds done throughout that time. I had been diagnosed with DOR and "unexplained" infertility. Since Dr. Aimee personally attended to me at every appointment, she got to know my symptoms and body very well. She knew what was normal for me and what was not normal. After only 5 months with Dr. Aimee, she discovered silent endometriosis off a random comment I made about a sore back, despite no signs of endometriosis. She was then able to guide me towards a specialist, where I had laparoscopic surgery to discover Stage II endometriosis. I likely would've continued believing "unexplained" infertility was my diagnosis if she hadn't put in the effort to dig deeper. This is a huge benefit when you are actually seeing your provider every appointment. (3) Communication with Dr. Aimee is readily available and easy. This has been really helpful for me in those random moments where something stressful comes up or if something happens over the weekend, she is always responsive. I really appreciate the communication aspect because infertility is a huge and stressful battle and she truly makes sure that your doctor is not an additional source of stress. This is unlike other clinics I have been to, where communication and getting in touch with your doctor can be really difficult. She truly cares about each and every patient and wants you to succeed. (4) Dr. Aimee is a great doctor for people that feel like they've "tried everything else." She is willing to think outside the box to come up with different solutions to your problems. Additionally, she is constantly doing research and trying to find new ideas on how to find new avenues to success. There are so many other great things I want to say about Dr. Aimee, but it would make this review even longer! She is truly an incredible woman and doctor and I feel very grateful to have her as my doctor.

Upon arrival, the front office staff were kind. Dr Ratcliff came out and greeted us, but was very none enthusiastic, like we were bothering her. Im sure by my hello, she could tell i was terrified and uneasy about this whole situation. We sat in the back room with her in her office, I had read reviews that her "bedside" manner was not great, but i didnt expect what i got. she asked a bunch of health questions about my husband and myself which of course i expected. she then went into how babies are made, and explained issues with fertility.and why infertility happens. Which i did appreciate because i did learn some things. THEN WE TOOK A TURN. she told me and my husband, that "we would be irresponsible to continue to try and get pregnant" when i heard that i started to cry. No empathy at all. I asked her "what do you mean?" she doubled down and told us that we are too unhealthy and im old now and my baby would most likely have "lifelong" issues I wish i was kidding. I was shocked and terrified and completely overwhelmed. she said options could be IUI or IVF if that didnt work but she wouldn't do either of those for me because i needed to lose 90 pounds before my birthday (which mind you was in about 6 weeks). I said well if i lost that much weight i would be unhealthy but ok. Then she said because if i did it and you end up with a baby who is sick, you will sue me. so then it clicked to me that this wasnt about me or my husband and i trying to start a family, it was about her. She talked to us like we were children and not grown adults seeking advice and help. She told us which tests she wanted us to do and we could go from there. Sperm testing for my husband and she said she would order blood work for me. Then she said she's going to do the ultrasound to see how many follicles i have - saying at my "advanced age" i should have at least 18 but was snarky about it as if she thought there was no way i had enough. So we went into the ultrasound room and sure enough i had like 23. Its almost like she was shocked. We then went to leave, she provided us with the sperm testing information for my husband - and said my tests would be ordered and i would get an email when they were so i could go to the lab. NEVER GOT THE EMAIL - tests never got ordered My husband did the sperm test 3 days later. Dr Ratcliff called him with the results and told him he is about 100k more than what would be "normal" but instead of just giving him the good news she doubled down and said again on the phone. "I highly encourage you and your wife to not continue to try as it would be "irresponsible". He hung up on her. I knew after that appointment i would never go back. I would do anything to be a mom but i am not going to be belittled to make that happen. I met with an OB a few weeks later and told her of my experience and she was SHOCKED. But, without me even saying who the doctor was, she knew, she asked me "did that happened to be Dr Ratcliff over in santa rosa" - THATS BAD, when the OB knew. she said she had so many patients tell her similar stories. But, despite her awful interactions with us and terrible demeanor and advice. I am happy to say that i am 9 weeks pregnant with my first child and i am so excited. So, if you are trying and struggling, i would not go to her go anywhere else

What I appreciate most is that she takes the time to look at the whole picture. When needed, she's connected me with other specialists and helped me build the right team so I could make informed decisions with confidence. I've sought information through various third-party women's health companies, but none have come close to the depth, thoughtfulness, and individualized care that Dr. Prabakar provides. I'm learning that HRT is rarely straightforward, and what will set her apart is how carefully she reviews my history, symptoms, and bloodwork before making recommendations. Her bedside manner is warm, knowledgeable, thorough, and never makes me feel rushed. As a physician affiliated with Northwell Health, she brings a level of expertise and professionalism that has given me tremendous confidence in her guidance. Private care is certainly an investment and a luxury for most, but I genuinely believe Dr. Prabakar saves her patients significant time, confusion, and heartache by helping them make thoughtful decisions from the beginning. I leave every appointment feeling informed, supported, and confident in my next steps. I feel incredibly fortunate to have her in my corner.

From the beginning the vibe was tense in the office, everyone seemed a bit stressed, even the front desk wasn't very friendly. The kind of tension the comes from the top down to employees (we later heard this is in fact the case). We later learned good friends of ours had also paid high dollars for no results and felt the weird vibe we felt. Dr Brotheron was nice, if I was to bet, she'll move on. We did and got pregnant. Initially, we also considered Spring Fertility Center in SF due to many recommendations, but after our first visit with Dr. Joy Brotherton, we felt confident that MFC was the right place for us. Dr. Brotherton treated us as individuals, not just another case or a number for their statistics. She took the time to explain everything about IUI and IVF, enabling us to make informed decisions. Because I was running out of time, we decided to pursue IVF. Throughout the process, the entire team was incredibly supportive. Linda at the front desk, the administrative coordinator Maria (who handled all the insurance matters), and the nurses--Isabel, Ginger, Lia, Jennifer (and others)--were all so sweet and caring. I have very difficult veins to work with, and Isabel was always patient and approached it with a great sense of humor. I only interacted with Dr. Uzelac a few times, but he was kind and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Brotherton was exceptional--she always responded to my emails in less than 24 hours, and she was always open to hear my suggestions on the treatment, it felt like a two way conversation, this rare to find when dealing with doctors. And the clinic answered my calls promptly 95% of the time with immediate and helpful responses. In a long and stressful process like IVF, that level of communication is invaluable. After two egg retrievals, I am now living my miracle--pregnant with my first child. My only suggestion for improvement would be regarding Prya, the first insurance coordinator I interacted with. Unfortunately, she was rude and made me feel like I was a burden. However, after I brought this to the clinic's attention, they reassigned my case to Maria, who was wonderful and handled everything perfectly. Overall, I am so thankful we chose MFC. The entire staff made this journey special and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I was clear from the start that I wasn't sure if I wanted to harvest eggs and create embryos. I never had the NEED that some women have when it comes to being a mom and I didn't want to go through this process if my chances for success aren't likely. I said I would like my doctor to be very up front and tell me if it looks like it will happen or not. Dr Fischer met with us multiple times before hand and was very informative, he gave me options that others didn't but most importantly he listened to my concerns and was honest in his opinions. Although my surgeon was able to get all the cancer out we were still going to proceed with the protocol for cancer patients. Since I was still apprehensive about having kids at all, on the morning I was supposed to start injections I made my final decision to not pursue IVF. The process isn't easy and since I'm still recovering from surgery I didn't see the value in doing this for the potential for 0-1 embryo. It isn't important enough for me to do IVF and try for nothing. If I would end up with 2 or 3 embryos I would have done it but not for less. Again he was very supportive and said if I wanted to try later I can since I won't be doing chemo and in a year my fertility won't drastically change. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this team and if I decided to try I would use them.
