Being laid off is pretty terrible. Mine (like most) came out of nowhere, and I was understandably anxious. My boyfriend mentioned Office Team and I gave it a shot. Although I was lucky enough for a career opportunity that eventually found me, Office Team got me real close to getting one through them. The staff is super friendly, and helpful; especially Anastasia, the agent that worked closely with me. Anastasia worked hard to find a fit that was practically tailored for me; she was AMAZING with her follow ups, and always offered the BEST, and most sincere motivational pep talks to comfort me because she knew what it was like. She felt more like a life coach; and I cant think of any better remedy than to have someone who can level with you, and understand all the emotions and stress that comes with 'left field' unemployment. I Worked in fast food my whole life, always hoping for a opportunity to get out. I eventually worked my way up to a assistant manager but after a while that got boring I didn't want to go to school but I wanted a good job outside of fast food. I've had an excellent experience with OfficeTeam at their Lakewood location. I had my initial interview with Paul in December of 2012, and took on my first assignment in January. I received 4 different assignment opportunties in that time, each time, I was given all the information I could ask for. Both Paul and Morgan are extremely knowledgeable when it comes it assignments, the clients, and us, the candidiates. They both genuinely care about the assignment and its progression from both the clients eyes, and the candidiates. They maintain excellent commmunication through emails and phone. One person who has first answered the phone at the Lakewood office is most outstanding, I just know her first name is Kate. Besides always being friendly and timely, Kate has gone above and helped me on several occasions. One time I needed an update of my hours and another was when I needed to update my data entry scores.
