Extremely unprofessional (Modesto, CA). The recruiter had audio issues and blamed me for the issue. Despite my assurances, the problems persisted; I could hear an echo and background conversations, which she again attributed to my end. It turned out the noise was from another recruiter being loud and disrespectful during my interview on Teams. Recruiters should know that candidates are essential to the business. To all owners and recruiters--Candidates are the bread and butter of staffing agencies. After I graduated from San Jose State University, these guy kept in constant touch with me. They have tried their best to find me an entry level job in legal. Extra star here. I told them that I am a marketing major and are looking for a job in marketing, HR or administration. Extra star here for providing me with opportunities that fit my requests. I would normally give them one star but I still applaud their effort. Now the bad news: two years later the two recruiters ditched me, they no longer keep in touch with me. As a result of no contact, I had to take being ignored and pursue other staffing companies. I eventually got a job at Adecco but they ditched me as well. Back when Robert Half was in close contact with me they sent me weekly emails saying there are jobs available. If the monkeys who work here actually did their job and kept in close contact with me up to now then I would not had a job bagging groceries. Also please provide me some jobs that don't result in a waste of gas just to interview. Note: Along with Adecco, this is one of staffing firms that actually treats me like a real human being and doesn't mistreat me with false job promises or postings. read more

I'm pretty unimpressed with their conduct. When one of their recruiters (Sonia Sahney) thought she had a job for me, she'd bombard me with a voicemail, a page, and an e-mail all at the same time, sometimes more than once a day. Jesus. Yet on the rare occasion that I'd e-mail back with a simple follow-up question, she'd just ignore it. At one point, she called to ask if I could start a job on a ONE-DAY NOTICE. After agreeing, nothing happened for days -- a.k.a. I was getting ghosted -- and then I had to reach out, twice, before someone would tell me the reason... which sounded made-up. Annoying and unprofessional. On another note, they seem to be outsourcing their staffing to India these days. read more

I was super pleased with how my recruiter, Stephanie, was always looking for a job for me, even when I was very meticulous. After I quit my full-time job, I knew that I would come back to Robert Half, because I knew that they would find a temp job very quickly. Sandeep was the one to reach out to me regarding the SPS (Salaried Professionals) Program, which I knew nothing about. Without her knowledge, I wouldn't have even known about this program. This is where I am a full-time employee through Robert Half - INCLUDING medical, vision, dental, and 401K (no matching) - AND they give me the benefit of always finding a temp job for me, while always taking into consideration my experience, my qualities, the distance from work to home, and where they can see me grow. I feel like EVERY college student and new graduates should be aware of this program. If I knew of this program beforehand, I would have started with Robert Half instead! The SPS recruiting team always takes into consideration the distance that I want to drive from home, which is very important to me knowing that I have responsibilities at home. They also have a ton of resources, from learning Excel to receiving daily emails about how to make your resume shine. The most important part for me is that my recruiter, Vishal, gave me some encouraging words during a time when I really felt lost, especially after coming from a very prestigious company. He can see the good in his candidates, even when they may not see it within themselves. I would recommend the SPS program to anyone who wants to see all different industries, gain a network of people (who I've come to truly enjoy & make friends from every temp assignment). I got a update from a recruiting manager Priscilla grove that wanted to talk to me for a new job. She refused to give the pay rate of the job up front, she required a face to face interview and she hadn't even sent me the job details before asking to do an interview. I told her how do you expect a person wanting a job if you refused to provide the pay rate and don't give the job details. Also I told her I did several jobs for Robert half. Why do I have to go trough the new hire/new person process of skype and face to face?? Lastly.. they don't review the resume before they call a person for a job: I told her to take me off their calling list and hung up the phone. Not the greatest staffing agency I have worked with. They got me a contract to hire job at some company which had a super high turnover rate. I worked for the place for a month and a half and was let go for stuff beyond my control. Now I get emails from RHT recruiters asking me for my updated resume and I tell them I'm interested in a permanent job and then that keeps them off my back for a few months. Seriously, thumbs down for mostly impersonal recruiters that don't really care about what kind of job they get you but just getting you a job so they can make money. read more

I have to say that the recruiters at Robert Half are sharp, savvy and hard-working. I was placed in my current (dream!) job by two of them, and I can't praise them highly enough! They interviewed me extensively to find out what kind of place I wanted to be at, what was important to me, and what my skillset was. Then they submitted me ONLY to places that matched me - and very quickly I was in the door at a company where I'm deleriously happy. I've recommended them to several of my friends, and everyone who has talked to them has good things to say. The only thing I'd improve is that their application system is a little bit outdated - you have to fill stuff out online and in person, and often it's the same info. But I'm a UI designer; I think about those things. :D read more

I wanted to write a nice review for OfficeTeam because I didn't want their effort to have gone to waste. I applied to OfficeTeam around February 4th, 2012. Met with Jenny. Ever since the interview process they have been keeping in contact with me at least once/week. Whether it was me emailing them or one of the associates calling me. Jenny was very up front about the economy not bringing in enough clients and the fact that many employers are looking for very niche employees. I was approached twice once from David and the other from Jenny about possible job opportunities but they did not fall through. Both were enthusiastic and even asked for more information to better sell me to their clients. I feel what people need to remember is that it benefits both parties if OfficeTeam finds us a job. They get paid and we get paid. There are plenty of other candidates in the same boat. Maybe those candidates got the job! We need to be proactive as well. Though they did not find me a job (since I found one on my own first) they were informative, communicated very well and helpful. I couldn't give them 4 or 5 stars because they didn't find me a job but I can give them 3 stars for effort and professionalism. read more

I reached out to this OfficeTeam office for a temp to hire position that my job experiece made me qualified for. I had an instant reach out by Jon the staffing manager who talked to me by phone regarding... not the job but he pitched more the fact OfficeTeam does not assist people with direct hire or full time hiring positions... only temp positions. Confused by his comments I pointed out that their own ad said 'temp to hire'. He then said that was correct it was such a position... HOW can they ONLY be a temp ONLY agency then admit they get positions for temp to hire!!!!??? Anyways I confirm with this 'manager' that I am currently working full time and am ONLY interested in temp to hire oprotunies.... Jon said ok and scheduled a 'facetime' phone meeting for a later date. Moving forward he and I have our facetime chat and he asked me again what I was currently doing... somehow this manager was confused enough he forgot everything we discussed by phone before!!! SERIOUSLY!!??? I explained what my job was and he then stopped the conversation and told me that he would not be helping me find a job. Jon then went into this ego speech how he could not - would not help me in finding a new career. As he kept making up excuses about how he had to turn down helping me for HIS own conscious and ONLY for his personal well being I laughed at this twenty something child spouting about how his only concern is his personal spiritual well being I had to see if he realized how stupid he sounded and agreed with his ... personal beliefs. Finally getting him to take a breath from his excuses I made a simple statement: "No.. no I understand you have to do whats best for you only" Jon responded "Im glad you understand". WOW.... I can't say enough about Office Team after 2 years of working with them. They are an amazing staffing agency that works hard to find you the best fit, whether it's temp or perm. Their recruiters are so efficient and so nice too!. I've worked with Kimberly Casey, David Verdugo, and more recently, Manny Ramos and Jessica. Try to get Manny if you're looking for temp work---he is so wonderful to work with. Their office receptionist, Amber is so nice will take care of you. Ofa also is very nice and she takes care of payroll I believe because I send her my timecard and it gets approved very fast and I get paid fast. I never worry about keeping track of my paychecks, because there's never been a mistake. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for work, or looking to hire good people. An excellent and quality company! I highly recommend it! OfficeTeam has seen a dramatic change in the past few months. Their customer service, genuine concern for your employment, and diligence in holding you with the highest priority are definitely notable and outstanding. David Verdugo and Kim Casey are two of the most hardworking and friendly recruiters that you can ask for in helping you find a great position. I joined OfficeTeam around Fall 2011, before David and Kim came were on staff. There were terrible reviews of this company at that time, and despite the horror stories, I went ahead and checked them out anyway. It was a negative experience with poor quality of service and a complete, unprofessional lack of concern from my recruiter. I stuck around for a few months, but gave up on OfficeTeam when my recruiter forgot who I was when I called her, after not hearing from her in several weeks. Fortunately, a few weeks later, I received a call from David Verdugo, a new staff member, who personally apologized on behalf of OfficeTeam, and persuaded me to give him and the new OfficeTeam staff another chance. Within days, he and Kim had gotten to know me over the phone very well--my educational/work background, my specific desires in a work setting, my future aspirations--not to mention, I received constant and detailed feedback regarding available positions, what they are doing to make those deals for me, and when I can expect to hear from them again. Within a week or two, David already had a list of jobs that he organized for me, from position to hourly wage to interview date. When I went on my first interview, both David and Kim wished me good luck before and after. Amazingly enough, I landed that first job!! I could not have done it without David and Kim's attentive and thorough research in both my needs and the needs of the company, where I am working now. Even though my time with David and Kim was short, it was nothing short of wonderful. I still receive calls and emails from them from time to time, just asking me how everything is going, and if I'm enjoying my job. They didn't forget about me. Unemployment for several months is stressful and depressing for anyone, but I am confident that OfficeTeam and their new staff members can help! My advice is to disregard the old reviews. Office Team has done a pretty good job as far as placing me in a temp job. I joined at the end of October 2012 was specifically looking for temp jobs for the month of November and December, while I was home. My Requirements: $10/hr min. Willing to take almost any receptionist, office work, etc. jobs... pretty much anything. People: The people who are work there are pretty nice. When they call you for a job and you can do it, just take it. Don't wait for a "better offer" or take time to think about it, because if you do, it will probably be given to someone else. It needs to be remembered that it's their job not only to place you, but to also fill in those positions for their clients asap. Getting Assignments: The first month I only got one job for four days pretty immediately, but there was about a two or three week time period before getting a call for another assignment. Once December rolled around, I got a lot of calls for assignments and actually had to turn down a lot. They usually won't call you if they know you're on assignment, but I had been waiting on one (which I won't recommend, even though it worked out for me). I don't know for sure, but seeing that I had more call for assignments in December than November, I think there might be more job opportunities during the holiday season, but who knows? Overall, I believe they did a great job and will go to them again when I'm back in the area. read more

By far the worst recruiting company. First off, they don't do recruiting for their clients. I or other clients have to go search on the Robert Half job forums for jobs that you're interesting in applied for. When you find a job you email or call the recruit handler about it. But they NEVER reply back while the job post remains active weeks later. Some handlers constantly have a full voicemail box. At times they send you job opportunity too with a handler you have to either call or email your resume to. Same thing happens, mailbox is either full or they never response to your email. Let me call out some people. Haily is suppose to be a Sr Tech Recruiter but after speaking with her for 5-10 minutes which she only had time for it was a lost was cause! She is not very well educated in tech or any engineering recruitment. She doesn't know simple terminology and wouldn't know the difference between web developer, front-end, back-end, full-stack or even know the difference between a computer programmer vs software engineer. Anyways, after that conversation I never heard back from her again when I reply to he new job opportunities email or seeing a job on Robert Half's forum. Like I said before, she is a lost cause. Next on the list is Alexis who is the branch manager in Las Vegas but is handling job listings in Silicon Valley. I just don't have any idea how that is manageable and who also manages Haily. She is a quick responder to emails but I can always see through her white lies. I had previous experience with Robert Half a couple years ago when they got me a 3-month contract to hire job which ended up being a 9-month contract to hire job and wasn't even anywhere near what Robert Half said the salary should be. I was also system admin with superuser access to their ERP system dug into the account/billing relationship between that company of Robert Half and it was surprising. I've deal with many Robert Half recruiters over a 5+ year span and it's all the same, they don't response or they drag you on and on thinking this is a potential for you. Be aware, salary is never as promising and a hefty chunk goes to them when you're a contract worker and when a company decided to hire you full time they have to payout a large chunk for you which effect you salary. Essentially you yourself is looking through Robert Half job post and their recruiters where likely never contact you. They don't do the recruiter for you. You have to do the recruiter yourself and apply and Robert Half gets the huge payday. It's a sham. Just Google RH and your see the reviews beyond Yelp. BTW - absolutely no big enterprise companies uses Robert Half. So essentially new or low-budget companies that don't pay you anything. It's a lose lose and you shouldn't waste your time with Robert Half. It's pretty much self evident when you checkout each Robert Half recruiter personnel LinkedIn profiles. It's pretty simple and I'm just telling clients that are looking for a recruiter that you have to recruit the recruiter and fish out the real ones and ROBERT HALF ISN'T IT. At times, I sometime think that these low class recruiters don't even know how to operate or even check they own voicemail boxes. I for one would even check voicemail and even respond to emails when off hours if I were a recruiter for any company. I struggle to comprehend this. Do these Robert Half recruiters not know that each client they help place a job in is a big payday? Do they not know that Robert Half takes a huge cut for each contract worker or know how much each company has to buyout each client when they transition from a Robert Half contract to hire to their own full time employee? Either Robert Half the company itself is shamming its own employees or they can't comprehend anything and how to make money. read more

one word: CONNIE During my entire freelance career as a graphic designer, i've been signed up with 6+ agencies, and Connie is just the best out there. She takes the time to get to know her candidates, keeps in touch, checks up on your status, and is always on top of finding a job for you. Even when things were slow, she never forgot about me. It makes such a huge difference just keeping in touch with your candidates! She fully understood the direction i was trying to go and she landed me GREAT assignments. I've had agents (not at TCG) that only call me when they were desperate, told me to add skills to my resume i didn't have, gave me advice that lead me no where, and inevitably forgot about me, but Connie has done none of those things, she is very honest about everything, and NEVER forgets about you. Im not sure i can say much about TCG, as I've heard bad things about their other offices. My only complaint was that TCG payroll sent my checks in unsealed envelopes and sometimes other company's envelopes (i guess they ran out). But If your looking for a creative agent, go with Connie. Update: I have to give a shout out to Cartson and Kimberly over at TCG. They have managed and placed me in great companies and are ALWAYS there to answer my questions or even just to hear my concerns. Connie, is no longer there, but if you get Cartson and Kimberly then you will be in great hands. read more

A decent temp agency that I every associated with. I never worked with them in the past because they just called me for an interview and test me on my business skills. They never introduced me to any of their client for assignments even they promised me with one or two companies who have interests in interviewing me. I think they were just lying and try to get my resume for their data entry. They set an appointment with me to visit their office, test me on excel, words, and other questions on computer they assigned me on and after the test, I had short interview session with recuiter who is no longer working for Office team. They promised me that they will try to set an interview for me to meet their client, but I think they just wanted me for records. After when I got home, I webt online and apply for opening jobs that I can find on craigslist. The result on finding jobs on Craigslist shows potential opportunity, hope, and fastest way to get an interview with hiring managers compare to Office Team. It is better to find jobs on craigslist instead of depending on Officeteam to help me look for jobs. read more

Absolutely the worst staffing agency to work for..sure they will find you work mostly contracts nothing steady and when your contract is up they kick you to the curb.. they send you an email we will find you more work when it comes to it you won't hear from the for months. And when they find you something the communication is horrible you have to email them to see if you still have a job in a week or days. And had a friend work for them they got fired on and they lied to them about how much the raise was when hired on...don't believe anything they day to you. read more
