After spending less than 3 minutes with Dr. Hoddeson, he diagnosed my condition and had a resolution to my problem which has worked. To say he is amazing is an understatement, I had spent years and a lot of money trying to determine what my problem was and within 3 minutes he solved it and had written a prescription for a solution. We spent the remainder of my office visit talking about a couple of other medical issues which I thought there wouldn't be enough time to talk about. Since my visit, I have recommended Dr. Hoddeson to several of my friends and all of them have been very happy with his care. She came in saying in a loud tone "You need to get off this stuff. You are setting yourself up for early onset cataracts and osteoporosis." She refused to give me more medicine and walked out of the room. I told her nurse, "I am only taking this stuff because I'm just trying to survive! So what do I do now?" Dr. Griner didn't tell me how to stop taking the drops (there is some withdrawal and symptoms return with a vengeance) and she treated me like a drug addict (its a little bottle of steroid drops for pity's sake!) I did the only thing I could do. I fired her as my ENT and started going to another one who started probing my condition with tests to provide data and switched me to another treatment.

I am a 78-year-old veteran who went to Hewitt for a hearing test and evaluation for a claim I am making with the VA which requires a letter from a hearing specialist. When I made my appointment, Hewitt's receptionist told me to bring the letter with me, so I drafted a letter based on a VA sample letter. After the hearing test was completed, Hewitt stormed into the waiting room and angrily demanded to know how I dared to presume he would ever sign a letter he had not written himself. He talked over me and would not listen when I tried to explain that his staff had told me to bring it. Then, in front of his staff, he accused me of faking the hearing test in order to bilk the VA. All this in spite of my hearing being so demonstrably bad that I can barely hold a conversation and my tinnitus is so severe that I can't believe it doesn't keep my wife awake at night!

When I checked in they also told me that same price and took my money. I was shown back to the room and the nurse sprayed numbing solution in my nose. The Dr. cam in and without really talking to me about what was going on he put a scope in my nose and then we spoke about my issue. A few weeks later I received a bill for about $500 for a nasal endoscopy. At no point was it mentioned that I was having a procedure and that the scoping was anything but routine that all patients had done. No one told me this was going to hit my deductible and not be covered by the copay, they just did it without even really know my issue. If this was routine then why was I not informed when I made the appointment or when I checked it. Instead I was told it would only be $35 copay. They evidently already planned to do this from the start as the nurse numbed my nose before the doctor had ever even met me. I spoke with Lisa Jones in their office and she said that the long medical for that everyone signs gives them consent to do whatever is needed and that they usually do a nasal endoscopy, but since sometimes they don't, they don't have to inform you beforehand. This seems incredibly shady and highly unethical by ENT of Georgia North and Dr. Stolovitsky. I would you advise anyone looking to choose another ENT unless you want high unexpected medical bills and procedures without your knowingly consent!

My Mom had received 2 phone calls to confirmed her appointment on May 8th. When she arrived they tell her that the doctor was not in as he went to a conferences. I can understand if he had an emergency but to attend a conferences. The office never bother to call her to change the appointment. That was a waste of time and money to not be told about that! My Mom has several friends that happened to them, saying you do not have an appointment on our schedule. Very rude. I hope that office will lose lots of customers. Never to go back there again.

Sadly, somehow a corporation took over and the information provided here is seriously incorrect. Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. The docs ... not so much. West now thinks he's a weight loss guru and Sharpe pays no attention to anything. Ms. Bertram is nice, but their former FNP Mr. Pettay was much better. Ms. Bertram always seems to be distracted and in a hurry - I once came to see her with a very simple/common 'lady issue' and she refused to treat me, even after I told her the reason I came to her was because I couldn't get a GYN appointment for another week. She still refused. It's funny ... as a nurse myself, I'd never worked with a doc/NP in any practice that would refuse to treat something so simple ... and then make me pay for the visit. If it was 15-20 years ago, I'd have nothing but raves for this group. Now it's all bells and whistles, flat screen TVs and free water and patient portals. I'd give it all back for the care I used to get in the tiny office in Snellville.
