This is a company that has painted SO many homes in Benicia (and I know they paint lots of other places) and you will receive a five page referral list when you sit down with the Ray to discuss your job. I found him (Ray, the owner) when I admired a job REALPainting was doing down the block from me. They were incredibly neat, the bushes were totally covered, the house looked great and I decided to give them a call. REALPainting. Ray has his stuff together. Will offer his referrals and insurance info first meeting. And then the job...just excellent. We were lucky to get Jaime as our painter and I think the other man was Kevin? Ray was a constant part of the process, but we had to live with Jaime and Kevin (?) for a little over a week as they painted both the outside and much of the inside of our home. And they were easy to live with, taking care of every detail with precision. Simply EXCELLENT work. I'm married to a retired General Contractor and he is very picky about any kind of work that is done and he can find no fault. I did say they painted much of the interior and I was going to take care of the small area that I didn't ask them to paint. Bad decision. I could never paint it as well and am now in the process of having them paint the rest. Make the same decision for yourself. They are much better.

Each and every day, Garry and Alex cleaned up after themselves, so that I could function and at least eat a little dinner and make coffee in the morning (again - I've dealt with contractors who refuse to clean up, no matter how many times you remind them that it's your home and you actually live there). The paint job itself is just gorgeous, y'all: GORGEOUS. Due to unforseen hinge-related drama, I asked Garry to paint over the hinges (normally a big no-no in my book). But he did such an extraordinary job - even on painting over hinges (!) -- that they actually look like I bought white hinges. I CAN NOT stop staring at my now-gorgeous white kitchen and this is all thanks to Just Us Painting. Mike just completed our landmarked Victorian house, and I could not be happier, start to finish, with what he and his crew did for us. --Mike was attentive to our requests from the start, deferring appropriately to my wife's aesthetic vision and our historical constraints, but also, when asked, weighing in with expert and useful opinions on decisions. The plan was clear, but also built in adaptability, like when they'd paint different sections in slightly different ways to 'test drive' how colors play against each other differently, and even tested out different varieties and configurations of gold! All this led to the end result on the five color plus gold accents paint job turning out better than we had envisioned. -Mike and his crew did the job like clockwork, with impressive skill. From setup to prep to final detailing, everything was calmly and precisely executed. Their process is clearly borne of years working together. For us, everything was carefully hand painted, no spray guns, and the details clearly show the experience and skill they bring to the job. -Energetically, it was such a relief. These guys are pros, sure. But they are also very pleasant, calm people. Even though they spent 4 weeks on our property in close proximity to the family, the property felt calm and strangely undisrupted in spite of all the scaffolding and ladders. I've had many contractors do great technical work, with a snarl, and in this market sometimes it feels like you have to take what you can get. I call Mike Reardon who comes over and examines the victim. He reassures me. He comforts me. He sprays the eaves with anti-mildew treatment and makes me whole again.
