This doctor will cancel appointments on you with no explanation what so ever making it very hard to plan out your care timeline.

DO NOT bother with this place. See Jew W. review to the right. Mine is verbatim. I was talked over,…read moredismissed, had numerous MRI referrals and then more useless, irrelevant tests referred, visits and revisits scheduled and absolutely NO diagnosis or prognosis ever brought up. No questions answered, just dismissed with arrogance. This lady is NOT EVEN A DOCTOR. This office had two weeks of repeated attempts to get a simply oral surgery sign-off back to my dentist. Didn't do it, wouldn't do it without an appointment they never tried to schedule. Then they lied to me and said nobody has contacted them about the paperwork. It's a referral fee mill and office fee generator. Go anywhere else in OR out of network, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED TO SEE an M.D.

I've been coming to NAPC for years (since 2016) at various locations. My experience started out…read moregreat at this Woodstock location and was even good at the Canton location after it was built, as it was closer to home at the time. I'm not sure what has happened, but this medical group has fallen apart! Management: You will continue to lose patients if something is not done. The upward trend of and reviews over the last few months only reinforces my statements. Below are a few of the reasons why I will be leaving this group as my primary care facility: * It took over a month, and I had to call in three times, to receive results from a standard panel of bloodwork for an annual physical on the Follow My Health Portal. * When requesting an Rx refill, there were many times it wasn't addressed for several days. Thankfully, this particular Rx wasn't an absolute necessity. * Most recently (the icing on the cake), I had scheduled an appointment a month in advance for a quarterly Rx refill and a wellness check at the Woodstock location, closer to my new home. A conflict arose, so I called to reschedule the appointment to one week later. I received multiple texts and calls requesting confirmation of my new appointment -- good. I arrived at the appointment and waited in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes before being called back. After being called, my weight and vitals were taken, and I spoke with the nurse. Another 10 minutes later, the office manager came in and informed me that the doctor I was scheduled to see was no longer taking patients and that I couldn't be seen... (dramatic pause). This is a facility I've been coming to for primary care over the past eight years, with a doctor I have seen in the past. The office manager was professional, polite, apologetic, and said she understood my frustration. It may not have been her fault, but I told her I would write this review. This could have all been disclosed to me weeks prior, saving everyone time. It shows complete disorganization and a lack of systemic processes. I wasn't able to speak with the doctor, nor did I receive my wellness check, Rx, or the specialist referral I was going to discuss. Was I denied care? I'm not entirely convinced the appointment wasn't kept in an attempt to bill my insurance company, but I will be following up with them to check. * I received two separate calls the day after the above situation, each from a receptionist asking about a follow-up appointment. I briefly explained to both my frustrations, why a follow-up wouldn't be necessary, and why I'd be leaving NAPC. One receptionist was nice enough to ask if I'd like to speak with the office manager. I said yes, but the representative told me she (the office manager) was in a meeting and would call me back afterward. I never received that call back. Potential patients considering North Atlanta Primary Care or Southeast Medical Group: please tread lightly or reconsider if you value a doctor-patient relationship and any semblance of a well-organized medical facility.

Concerning Experience With Northside Family Practice I'm…read moreconcerned and disappointed with my recent experience with Northside Family Practice, particularly regarding prescription refills and communication. I called early in the morning and left a voicemail requesting that my medications be refilled. I did not receive a response that day and had to call the office multiple times to try to get the issue resolved. For someone who relies on timely prescription refills, this lack of responsiveness is frustrating and concerning. I also found the office's information to be inconsistent and confusing. The website does not appear to provide consistently updated information regarding office hours or closures. In addition, the voicemail message states that the office is open until 4:30 p.m., while the office actually closes at 4:00 p.m. This inaccurate information made it even more difficult to reach someone and resolve my medication issue. I respectfully request that Northside Family Practice establish a clear timeframe for responding to prescription-refill requests, such as acknowledging requests within one business day and providing patients with an update if additional time is needed. I also request that the practice review and update its website, voicemail greeting, and other communication channels so that office hours and closure information are accurate and consistent. These specific improvements would help patients receive timely assistance and avoid unnecessary difficulty obtaining their medications.

I'm SO disappointed in this practice :/ My fiance and I just moved from NY to ATL, so I did…read moreextensive research to find a new primary care doctor as we plan to be long term patients. Dr. Susan Kim seemed great so I booked appointments for both of us. My fiance went in yesterday morning. When I asked him how it went he said it was fine - he waited 45 minutes to see the doctor and was given a tetanus shot without requesting previous medical records to see if he needed a tetanus shot. Long waits at the doctor's office are pretty standard so that didn't really concern me. I had my appointment scheduled for this morning. Admittedly, I was 10 minutes late due to traffic (I drove 30 mins AWAY from the city to get there). When I arrived and apologized for being late - the front desk curtly told me that my appointment had been cancelled and that they would not take me. I explained all of the above, but was told there was absolutely nothing they could do. To be honest, I would have rescheduled my appointment if they had even pretended to care. They could have putzed around on the computer acting like they were trying to "squeeze me in" and I would have been placated. Unfortunately, their curt response and cold attitude made it abundantly clear that this office does not care about their patients AT ALL. Needless to say, both my fiance and I will be moving to a different practice.
