While it seems to be customary to wait for any doctor these days I actually like this doctor and staff so it makes the wait slightly less painful. Dr. Bloom is definitely one of the best doctors I've had the pleasure of seeing for my issues and I've met some real doozies. He made me feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared about. He has a good sense of humor which makes for a good bedside manner. Now keep in mind I haven't seen him in over 3 years and yet he knew me right away. I will continue to see Dr. Bloom for as long as medically necessary; and for as long as I'm in CT, you should to!

His demeanor is respectful and firm, while being very thorough in his work. The practice has two locations, both of which are easily accessible by Rt. 15 and have ample parking. The large waiting room and super clean exam rooms show that the doctor pays attention to patient comfort. He also has a good turn around time for patient appointments, test results, prescriptions, and scheduling procedures.

I appreciate that his office has hours that are flexible and various locations. I find his office to be one of the easiest doctors offices to deal with for questions, appointments, refills or anything. It's nice to feel appreciated from the moment I pick up the phone to when I leave. They called me minutes ago and have an opening for me to see them at 2pm today. I never was excited to see a digestive specialist before, but the horro it has caused me and the problems I have endured over the last few years has been to the extreme. This was so painful, bleeding has been on and off and I've been so sick that I couldn't work for the past 14 days. He has reached out to the hospital affiliated with this practice and they confirmed they did not receive the appropriate information from the office, therefore causing this significant delay. After reaching out to my husband's primary care physician, Dr. Pendleton, it was determined that his records from this office were never sent over to his PCP. This type of poor communication and lack of concern/care is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The average hold time is over 30 minutes, without any type of resolution. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, as no patient should have to experience this type of service.

Agreed I should stay overnight for endoscopy, he spoke with Dresnick - I saw him speak to him and even confirmed with a phone call at the end of his shift that Dresnick would do the scope. I was instructed to not eat or drink in the ER all night, all morning. Dresnik sent his PA, Michelle, the next morning who was cold and rude to tell me he was not doing the scope, it wasn't an emergency. His PA said he didn't even know who I was. Complete lie!!!! Then she stepped out to speak to with a nurse about Botox and a new boyfriend. I chose my health over my job when I decided to stay overnight in the ER (cancel important meetings at work) just to have my time wasted by Dresnik and his schedule.
