My boyfriend and I were enjoying dinner when I heard a weird crunching noise. He had chipped his tooth... at 4:53 pm... on July 3rd! It was a nightmare! We called every dentist office in Fort Wayne. My daughter's teeth were a crazy mess before Dr Aron got a hold of her 6 years ago. She had teeth…read morecoming out of the top of her gums, teeth that had come in backwards, and teeth behind teeth. Dr Aron did x-rays and changed his plan after what he saw which saved us money. After over 2 years of treatment, her teeth are beautiful now. Her magnetic retainer came off after treatment and they put braces back on her at no charge for 6 months. My daughter was so self conscious of her teeth she would never smile before her teeth were straightened. We never made mention of her teeth to her, but as a little girl, she would say she had shark teeth and was ugly. As a mom, that cuts deep to hear your child think and say that about themselves. We're very thankful to Dr Aron and his team of skillful assistants. My girl smiles all of the time now. I went to familia dental to get wisdom teeth removed they cut through my jawbone on my bottom right…read moreside and since it wasn't done right they didn't do the rest of them my whole face was swollen for 3 months and my eye was swollen shut from this a couple years later I can't move my mouth without pain on the bottom right side when they messed up doing my wisdom teeth I went to another dentist to get the rest of my wisdom teeth removed and was only swollen for a couple days and I don't feel any pain where they did it

I was told I needed a crown end of 2025, even tho we have really great dental insurance we were told we had to come up with $800 down, so we did,(that was in Jan. 2026). I ended up having problems with the crown which I told them I didnt think was quite right, but was told I needed to get use to it. Ok. Went back in June 2026, was told I now needed root canal for same tooth, I opted to just have them pull it. Especially after finding out they were holding a $600 credit on my account, since insurance came thru and paid on my crown originally. Not happy that they held on to a large credit, especially when we withdrew that from our HSA plan and could have been paying other medical bills with it. ​We are now one day away from July 2026 and still haven't received our credit. I called today, spoke with billing, was told that they couldn't send me my credit until insurance pays for last visit,(June) I don't think so Sir, that credit was from January 2026. They then said they would send a email to the appropriate person to get our refund in the mail but it probably wouldn't happen this week. Good grief! I used to work in medical billing and there's no excuse for this. Be better Afdent billing!
