Seriously, I think Dr Orman is the absolute best dentist I've ever had in my life! I had to have a back molar pulled, and it was crumbling, and the root was hooked around and reconnected inside the jaw bone. It was crazy hard to get out, and they had a hard time getting the nerve numbed adequately-- and they were completely compassionate and professional about just pausing everything and doing another round of numbing whenever the pain started getting bad! Eventually they actually drilled into my jawbone and got numbing inside there! Then they were able to work on it, but it still hurt, and that's when the dentist figured out that the roots were hooked together down inside my jawbone. So he stopped everything and actually did Oral Surgery to cut the roots apart so he could get it out without jerking my jaw so hard. The whole time, he was just as calm as if this was how it was planned. I am just beyond grateful to have a really good dentist that I feel safe with, because dental work has been one of my worst nightmares all of my life! read more

Best dental practice in the area! I have horrible teeth. Multiple root canals and fillings...I have had several dentists and specialists over the years. Dr. Kolkman is by far the best! He is gentle, professional, compassionate, trustworthy, and friendly. My root canal was painless and very comfortable. Dr. Kolkman made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even checked on me the next day! He was patient and spent the time with me that I needed to ensure that my crown had the best fit. I actually look forward to my six month cleanings with Annie, my hygienist. She is gentle and has a wonderful sense of humor. It feels more like spending time with a friend than going to the dentist for a cleaning. Definitely the place to go if you have anxiety about going to the dentist. read more

Jamie and Dr. Kolkman are always very friendly and do a great job when I come in for my dental visits! I've gone to many dentists and many offices through the years where I have been left feeling like I did not actually matter as a patient or that the work seemed unwarranted.
