I have been coming to see Dr Korenberg for many years. Several of my extended family and friends come here too. Dr. Korenberg is very direct and always informative. He always asked how my family is with genuine concern. My skin never looked so good until I came here. Now there are always potential side effects with anything you do in health care. That's like 101 basics! I have proceeded with different treatments for my skin that have had potential life threatening complications. Fortunately I no longer need those medications. Dr. Korenberg left me permanently disfigured by treating an innocuous rash that ended up clearing up on its own. He convinced me to treat this rash with a steroid injection. I was very hesitant to do so as I thought it might be best to see if it went away on its own. After explaining how low the risk was and of any adverse side effects and that the upside would be that I saw an big improvement with my rash, I decided to go forward. Now, all the fat above my elbow where he injected me is gone and the skin is dark and scarred. I was not informed of this possible outcome and did not consent. I have been to see the good Dr twice for a skin problem. On my first visit, his receptionist was kind enough to tell me it is against the law not to have health insurance. During the second visit he argued that I should be able to get insurance for less than $100 a month. When time for exam I was asked to get on table with no sheet covering the table. When I asked about the sheet he said I didn't need one. Before I leave he tells me "If you would lay off the sauce and smokes you could afford to drive a Lincoln Continental". He doesn't understand how Affordable Care works for people who do not make enough to qualify. He treated me like I was a lower life form. read more
