His office is not great at returning emails or calls, which for me is fine as long as progress is made. The probate process went smoothly. It took 2.5 months to file the initial probate petitions, and then it was another two months to the court date. Estate administration didn't happen. I don't know if something happened to him or if I was marked as a bad client, but his office stopped communicating altogether. I never received a disengagement notice, so assumed everything was progressing. I checked in about once a month for updates and didn't hear back. After four months, I asked if they were still working on our file and still heard nothing (not even a progress bill, which I guess says it all), so I disengaged and retained another attorney. If they were too busy, I would have appreciated a disengagement notice so that I could have retained another attorney more quickly. TLDR: Probate work was fine. Estate administration was nonexistent. Client communication was sparse.

I then called 7 different times, but his assistant told me he would call me back and that he's "really busy." I then asked her if he still wanted to work with me, and she said yes. 7 unreturned calls, and still not a word. Very unprofessional. Only wants your money. So you don't waste as much time and anticipation for help, like I did, I recommend finding someone else that is more attentive during your time of sorrow and grief.

We were seeking a lawyer to draw up a new estate trust for our family. Hence, a couple of common and essential questions beforehand were asked to determine if they would be suitable for us. The questions only pertained to our needs. The woman I spoke to, was speedy on the phone, as if she was in a rush to gage if I was a good candidate or not for their business. She would talk over me, cut me off and wasn't pleasant one bit. I told her I had to discuss things with the family and contact their office later. Before I could finish thanking her, she hung up! Realistically, lawyers are a dime a dozen here. It's better to give your business and money to an establishment who will treat potential clients with respect and professionalism right from the start.
