We were accustomed to waiting an hour or two past our appointment time, but it has increased to six hours or more in recent years. The final straw was when my husband waited until 2am to finally be seen. Additionally, the office is packed with people having their taxes prepared, and there aren't privacy screens on the preparers' computers or really privacy in general. You are maybe two feet away from a stranger who's simultaneously having their taxes done. Social security numbers, income and other personal details are in full view of surrounding people, as well as the conversations about these intimate details. We have since moved on from having our taxes prepared by his office. We truly miss John and his wisdom, but he has let greed dictate his business decisions.
