However, when I saw Dr. Chang, she could not find these 11 cavities :-) She commended me on my dental hygiene, and sent me on my way. These qualities are so hard to find in one dentist, and I honestly saw a string of not-so-great dentists before seeing her. This makes me appreciate her even more! I am a nurse and a soon-to-be dietitian, so I'm very selective about the healthcare providers I see. And I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Chang!

While I was lying in the dental chair, I unlocked my phone then doctor took my phone and offered to help me because I was about to have the procedure on my teeth. Although he presented it as assistance, I felt uncomfortable and pressured to comply. He posted reviews without my consent. He spent several minutes using my phone to post reviews about his practice on multiple platforms. In my opinion, patients should never be asked to write reviews while the provider is standing over them, and a provider should never take control of a patient's personal device to post reviews on the patient's behalf. I also referred a friend to the practice. She later told me that while she was undergoing a procedure, reviews were posted from her accounts without her knowledge. Phone was used without her consent, My experience left me feeling that my privacy and autonomy were not respected. Patients should be free to decide whether and when to leave reviews, without pressure or anyone else using their personal devices.

That's a pretty basic step--no one wants to be blindsided by a big dental bill without a heads-up. I tried calling, texting, and emailing multiple times to follow up, but no one ever responded. The admin side of this practice seems completely disorganized. After many failed attempts, someone finally picked up--and to my surprise, it was Dr. Greenbaum himself. Honestly, it's not a great sign when the head dentist and owner has to answer the phone at a supposedly busy office. First of all I was petrified at the thought of going to the dentist. I had a couple of bad…read moreexperiences that I could not get past. Then I got an infected tooth. I had no choice but to visit a dentist. My sister recommended Dr. Nurminsky. OMG, he was amazing. He and his staff were so calming and professional. He explained everything he was going to do before hand. I ended up getting three teeth extracted on that day. He numbed my gums, so I didn't even feel the needles. As he was extracting my teeth all I felt was a slight tug no pain at all. When he was stitching me up I felt nothing. The funny part was I thought he was stitching up the first tooth and I still had two to go but once he was finished he told me he was done. I sat up, overjoyed and told him and his assistant that I loved them. Words I never thought I would be saying to a dentist. He gave me instructions for home care which was basically to take Tylenol as soon as I got home and then when needed. As long as I kept taking my doses of Tylenol I felt absolutely no pain. As soon as my gums heal I will be making another appointment to have more work done. This is what happens when fear causes you to neglect your teeth. I'm not looking forward to my next visit but I'm no longer petrified. I only wish I had known about Dr. Nurminsky years ago. He is a miracle worker.
