I called the office they were able to get me in in two hours no up charge for an urgent visit. Doctor came in offered to do her annual exam since I was paying for an exam anyway. It was extremely reasonable probably saved me 500 over going to an urgent care. Didn't try to upsell me on antibiotics or anything else. They took the claw off and I went home in 20 minutes. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. I love an honest vet

He has never pressured me nor tried to upsell. I just had a wellness visit yesterday and wanted to be sure to express my appreciation for the consistency. At each visit, the dr has been calm and unhurried while hearing about my concerns. He is pragmatic and evidenced-based, open to alternative treatments and supplements but not pushy at all. He respects my choices and remembers my preferences. He uses an online pharmacy which works well for getting my dogs anti inflammatory meds auto shipped. The staff were all SO kind and looked happy to be there and genuinely enjoy taking care of animals. The vet tech and Dr Johnson took their time with our timid Shiba. She gets really anxious at the vet, and this was probably one of the least traumatic visits for her. Dr Johnson examined her slowly on the floor, talking to her, introducing herself before jumping straight into prodding and poking. I felt like she listened to our concerns and gave sound, reasonable advice for our elderly girl. The prices were very reasonable to me. Especially after visiting a recent vet we didn't like at Poway for 1 thing and being charged $200 more than we paid today despite addressing multiple complaints today. They were also quite transparent with their prices online. I actually liked our vet visit today rather than leaving stressed and dissatisfied. I am planning to switch our other dog's care over to here too once she's due for her annual visit. We have moved around a lot in the 13 years I've had my dog and this is in my top 2. I'm so glad I found this new vet near me!
