My senior pomeranian had a slipped disk and kidney disease and I wanted to help his pain without harsh drugs. Accupunture deffinitly changed his life! If it wasn't for this vet, I really don't think my pup would still be alive today. I encourage pet owners to try out this holistic supplement for kidney disease. In combination with other supplements, this has really helped manage this horrible disease. I didn't really know much about holistic medicine before this but it has deffinitly changed how I care for my dogs.

I came in as my elderly cat had this episode where his head was shaking, and when I showed her the video she said it was probably a mini seizure and he could have a brain tumor. Didn't check his ears. And wanted to right away do blood work and thousands of dollars of tests which I declined at his age and I also just spent over $400 2 months ago for a full blood work. He had another episode of the head shaking and last night I had to take him to the emergency vet and they said he has a double ear infection and the worst she's even seen in 21 years! To the point his ears are so backed up with stuff that it needed to be carefully removed and because of this, it could cause Bells Palsy. The ear infection was for sure there when I came for his exam and I don't know how a vet could miss this. Because of this I spent $530 at the emergency vet and he's on multiple medications. Please be careful if you go here and you'll need to do your own research and figure things out on your own unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for testing.

It's not what we wanted (him gone) but it was the right thing to do since he had become ill and wasn't wanting to eat. In contacting them over the phone and sharing our situation, the attendant was extremely responsive and empathetic to our situation. As the date got closer, our poor boy declined quicker and we even had to move the date up. The company was super flexible and understanding and we were grateful they were able to accommodate this move to two days earlier. When the day came, we were certainly sad. When Dr. Benson arrived, she was soft spoken and kind. She greeted Moose and as soon as he noticed someone had walked in he got up and wagged his tail the best he could. This scene brought me to tears because that was the essence of who Moose was as our pet. He loved ALL humans and was always seeking their attention. Dr. Benson pet Moose and gave him love and affection. He received it and then went to his bed shortly after. She explained the process to us from start to finish. She was gentle in her wording and handling of every last detail. We set Moose up in one of his favorite sunning spots in the yard on his bed. And gracefully, Moose crossed over the rainbow bridge. We were given plenty of time to spend with Moose as the sedative worked and then after the final moments we were able to say our final goodbyes. The gentlemen who came to take care of Moose afterwards was soft spoken and extremely kind. He took care of Moose and left respectfully as he came. We are so grateful from start to finish how this went with our beloved boy. We will forever miss him. But the send off he was given will be forever a part of his journey. Thank you, Paws into Grace. Your whole team are gems.

However, there were some not so great things or improvements they should consider. Initial call with the lady to schedule was alright. She honestly didn't cover much of information, I felt like I had to ask her a lot of questions that she initially didn't mention. If she can slowly just go over from start to finish, it would've eased my mind a little bit more during this horrible time. In details... I know this is a business, but also this isn't something people go through every year (hopefully). The doctor came and she was very understanding of the situation. It felt like she was genuinely sorry for what we were going through as she also lost hers not long ago. I do wish that she would've stepped outside the house to give me little more privacy, but it is what it is. Im sure I could've asked. She did her best in the circumstances. Now, the worst part of this experience was the picking up the ashes. It took me 1 hour round trip to get there and it took 2 seconds to get her back and leave the place. The lady came out with a brown bag and hurried me out the door. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but that wasn't it. I was dumbfounded of like what just happened? Can I at least take a moment to open the bag to see what's all inside? Take a moment to just take it all in that I'm picking my child up as ashes? It felt like 'ok, you paid me, now you can go' vibe. It would've been nice to just take a moment instead of being rushed out. Also not sure why they don't offer drop off, I know a lot of people would pay extra for that so at least they are home when they receive the ashes back and go back to cry all they want at home. I really do appreciate what this company does, but there are something that need some improvements.

As Nala approached 9 months old, she began showing signs of reactivity toward people and other dogs, especially on walks. We couldn't have anyone new come into our home without her barking, growling, and displaying dominant behavior. Walks became stressful--she would lunge at certain people wearing hats or sunglasses and at other dogs. We were starting to lose hope and knew we needed guidance to help Nala trust us and feel secure. We reached out to Emily, and from her very first consultation, we knew we had made the right choice. Emily arrived calm and relaxed, allowed Nala to approach her at her own pace, and immediately showed us how Nala should properly greet people. From that moment, I knew Emily was the perfect trainer for us. We've been working with Emily for 3 months, focusing on how Nala approaches people entering our home, and the progress has been incredible. Nala is now a very obedient dog, and we feel confident managing visitors. Walks were our next challenge, and Emily guided us through trying different collars, learning how to use our body language and tone of voice, and properly using the leash and collar. She emphasized praise, play, and rewarding Nala when she succeeded, which helped release her energy in a positive way. We have since enrolled in group sessions to work on properly introducing Nala to other dogs. Thanks to Emily's guidance, Nala has truly transformed into a completely different dog. Emily gave us the tools to feel confident, comfortable, and capable as dog owners. She doesn't waste time--she gets results while ensuring we understand what we're doing and why. We are so grateful for Emily and will absolutely continue working with her as we keep practicing and doing our homework. She is truly amazing, and we owe Nala's progress to her dedication and expertise.

But finding Emily of The Dog Listener has been one of the greatest blessings for me and my American Bully puppy. From the very first session, Emily brought a calm, confident energy that completely changed the way I relate to my dog. Through private lessons and her incredible monthly Pack Walks, she has helped my puppy grow into a balanced, well-behaved companion. Most importantly, she's helped me grow--into a more confident, peaceful, and capable handler. What truly sets Emily apart is her compassion. My dogs don't just tolerate her--they adore her. The excitement and joy they show when she arrives is real, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person and trainer she is. Her love for dogs is genuine, and they feel it. I get emotional thinking about where we started and how far we've come. Emily is a true godsend, and I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for a kind, effective, and empowering trainer who truly understands dogs--and their people.

During our visit with Dr. Hackett, I felt like I was unnecessarily alarmed and pushed toward additional testing that turned out to be completely unnecessary. I brought in my two dogs, including my Border Collie, whose heart rate Dr. Hackett immediately treated as a serious concern. She made it sound like something could be very wrong and suggested multiple tests to rule out an emergency situation. My border collie also gets seizures which I told Dr. Hackett about and she told me she thought they are fainting spells due to his low heart rate, not seizures. Which I also got confirmations he definitely has seizures and nothing else like she suggested. After leaving very worried, I sought second opinions from other veterinarians. They all reassured me that my Border Collie's heart rate was completely normal for the breed and that they have seen even lower heart rates in athletic dogs like him despite his seizures. What was presented to me as potentially alarming was actually very typical. The same thing happened with my senior dog. Dr. Hackett told me her kidney and liver values were elevated and strongly pushed further testing, making it sound urgent. When I had another vet review the labs, they explained the values were only slightly elevated and extremely common in older dogs. They even told me she is far more likely to pass from old age before those numbers would ever reach liver failure levels. They also mentioned the slight elevation could simply be due to her high-protein diet. The experience left me feeling like fear was used to push unnecessary testing rather than providing balanced, knowledgeable guidance. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress and extra expense. Because of this, I would personally recommend seeking care elsewhere and getting a second opinion if you are ever told something is urgently wrong here.
