The guy is horrible and like's to play games. So I ordered his services to install a shower door. He accepted the order and then the day of texts me and say's "I can't make it". So I had taken the day off and I had my in-laws coming to town, so I asked him how he could do that, to which he responded "something came up". He then said "reorder". So I reorder and my order get's accepted for the following Friday. Guess what - he picked up the same order and cancelled the morning of again. The guy is not only unreliable - he plays games. Although I had been waiting for Robert, it is worth because he is good, not only doing good work, but also offer good price. When I first call Robert, he had me waiting for him to call me back, than waiting for him to come and gave me an estimate, then waiting for him and his team to come to start my project. The house was in a bad condition after my tenants moved out via an eviction process. I hired an inspector, the inspection report listed defects, pages after pages. How anyone can made such a damage to a house? When Robert and I first met, He spent three (3) hours, just walked through my LONG repair list, checked the house and answered my questions. I categorized my repair items based on contractor's role, such as electrician, plumbing, HVAC, and handyman ..... I was surprise Robert told me that he can do them all, except junk hauling and cleaning service which he can referral the resource for me. Here are the list of what Robert and his team had completed for my project: 1. Roofing: cleanup cable, leaves and debris at roof top and gutters. 2. Exterior: whole house stucco patch/seal and paint as necessary, repair patio and removed unused ledger board, repair shaking fence and fence gate, reinstall fence post, power wash the garage ... 3. Interiors: whole house interior patch/seal and paint, replace/repair whole house screen/doors/lock/blinds/floor, partially bathroom remodel, and repair kitchen shelf .... and many more. 4. Plumbing: install new hot water heater, install new dishwasher, install new garbage disposal, install new laundry room sink, reroute pipe and repair leaking pipe .... and more. 5. Electrical System: Correct several wrong wring job, install entire house light fixtures, disconnect/remove unused electrical wire, and install smoke/CO alarm, install additional outlets .... and many more. 6. HVAC: Install new Gravity Wall Gas Furnace, replace damaged soffit vents and ventilation ports. Robert completed my project on time and the job well done that exceed my expectation. Robert did a very good job on our garage remodel. The work involved pulling down existing cabinets, installing dryall on all the walls, cleaning up some wires/connections in the garage, installing new cabinets/shelves, painting all walls. Here are the things that stood out in our experience: - We wanted the work completed urgently: Robert promised within 2 days and completed it in 1.5! - Robert checked in with us on every major decision to make sure things were done according to our requirements. - He and his teammate/brother worked really hard: starting at 8:30 in the morning to 6:00 in the evenings. He even came in on saturday for a bit of extra work outside of the main job that we needed help with. - The work was done well..for a couple things, when we asked Robert to fix something, he immediately did (retouch a certain area of paint, tighten cabinet handle). - Robert even recommended not dumping our existing cabinets and selling them..an advice which possibly cost him money but helped us make some. Appreciate his honesty. We are really happy with our garage now. We will be using Robert for any future handyman needs and refer him to friends & family. read more

robert is a very talented fellow and very handy indeed. we want to spiff up a house for rental. so we went around and collected different opinions and quotes. we saw his site on yelp and give him a try. his quote turns out to be very attractive. even though his references all gave him good marks, we were not sure from the first impression. so we started him on re-painting the house. after seeing how he worked, we ended up giving him almost the entire job including dryer duct, sprinkler rewiring, termite spray, drainage pvc pipe installation, counter top formica refacing, changing locks and jam ...etc. we had other fellow working on the roof eave repair, master bath renovation, carpet installation at the same time and he works well as a team. he could have easily did the roof and bath but he does not install carpet. he starts early, works fast , able to multi-task and cleans up after his job. he is also willing to explain how he will do the repair. it is important to explain what you are looking for and be sure Robert is aware of what you are thinking. this communication is very important since we do not always look at things from the same perspective. as with all projects, it helps for one to stay involved, especially in making decisions. overall, i am very happy with how the jobs came out. i called him dr. handyman after i saw how he moved thru our project and adapt to situation in fixing things. read more

Thank you Yelp and all those who wrote such wonderful reviews about Robert which helped me hire him for the jobs in our house. Now it is my turn to give back to Yelp community. If I could, I would give a million stars for him and from now on if Robert could do it, all the work in my house will wait for his availability. We had a list of jobs to finish in which painting the house was the biggest job. I called him for an appointment and he came the next day to give the estimates. Robert is a professional and he knows his job very well. While going around the house to give a painting job estimate, he found that the roof trims were rotted and had to be replaced. He asked us to get a roofing company to replace the trim as our roof is metal and he did not want to take a chance in replacing the trim. He considered our house as his own even while giving an estimate and didn't want to do any damage to it. We were so comfortable talking to him that my husband didn't even want to get a quote from anyone else. The first work he did was installing a new bathroom vent fan and Robert finished that in 2 hours. Robert asked us to call him after replacing the roof trim for the painting job. I called so many roofing companies for a week, with no luck. Few companies were not interested in such a "small" job and few didn't even return my call. Again Robert came to the rescue and he said he will try to replace the roof trim. I was planning to replace the trim for only one side of the house as dry rot was very bad on that side of the house, but Robert gave me a quote which I couldn't resist and did the replacement for two sides of the house. That job was done so perfectly , the look of my house changed from that day onwards. I couldn't thank him enough. He replaced the trim without even touching the metal roof. The painting job was started next day and it took 5 days for Robert and his brother to finish the work. I should say they work so hard for their living and take so much pride in their job. He starts at 8 am in the morning and finish the job everyday around 4 to 5 pm with no lunch break. After the job was done he asked us to review the whole house and let him know if he missed any place. We couldn't find a single glitch in his work. Our house looks so "beautiful" now with the perfect job done by Robert and his brother. A week after the painting is done I got the exterior shutters I ordered. Robert called me to check on that and he painted and installed that also yesterday. Never heard of such a customer service. I would never take chance with anybody else for the work around my house. His rates are so reasonable and the quality of the work you get from him is impeccable. We still have to do some electrical and fencing work in the house and when we are ready we will wait for his availability. read more
