Having never hired a photographer before, it was all a bit overwhelming, especially in the wedding space as there are just SO many options. Before meeting Jenny via Skype, my now husband and I had a conversation with another Seattle-based photographer (also by Skype as we were doing all the planning remotely from Oregon). While this other photographer had a really nice portfolio, we left that lackluster conversation feeling very....meh. Very...discouraged. Then... **Dun dun da dahhhh!!!** Enter Jenny on her magical steed of friendliness, creativity, responsiveness, obvious talent and warmth. She immediately understood the kind of photography that we wanted for our wedding day - FUN! As I explained during that first conversation, we are not the "groom kissing bride's forehead at sunset in a field" kind of couple. She also asked about things we liked to do together and what we loved about each other, seeming genuinely interested and curious about us. Jenny has a knack for making you feel relaxed and free - catching the tiny moments between moments beautifully. We spent about an 1.5 hours before our ceremony galavanting around the streets near our venue for our couples photos. Jenny had previously scouted the area and took us to some awesome nooks that I never knew existed, including a super bright fuchsia wall of an apartment building that I just loved! Following all that, she orchestrated our family portrait time well, even with our two crazy families all over the place. While being the utmost of a professional, Jenny just seemed to blend into the party the entire night. Many of our guests commented about how great Jenny was. Our wedding was on a Saturday night and by Monday evening Jenny had already sent us some teasers, which were all AWESOME and I cannot wait to see the rest! I highly recommend Jenny as a wedding photographer, but heck just for any sort of photography needs you may have!! Jenny is simply wonderful.

She is incredibly experienced and intuitive about light and color and is very warm, welcoming and fun to work with. She helped me choose wardrobe from the things I had brought, chose complementary backgrounds and directed me expertly for the most flattering shots. After the shoot she quickly pared down the shots to a few dozen which we went through together in order to find the final three. The entire process was smooth and easy and under an hour total. Within just a couple days she had gently edited the photos and emailed me a download link. Super simple and quick! I am not especially comfortable having my picture taken and was apprehensive about the appointment but it was an absolute joy and I couldn't be more happy with the images we ended up with. Thank you so much, Jenny!

I was pleased that Amy could work within my deadline, and that her Queen Anne studio was a convenient location. Her session includes hair and makeup which I was initially not interested in having. But since it was included I was curious to see how it would come together. It was WONDERFUL! Having headshots done a couple of years ago, I didn't realize how very important makeup is to the overall success of the photos. I was able to have a natural look while highlighting my best features. Amy was then able to capture my personality not only through her calm, fun, encouraging atmosphere, but also through the poses. The finished photos have a very personable feel to them that I have never seen captured before. It was hard to decide on which photos I would keep as I was pleasantly surprised how well they all turned out! I highly recommend Amy for professional headshots to capture your true essence and personality.

I first reached out to Amy on the faith of a friend who confidently told me "she can do it all." I allowed this complete stranger to photograph me in an immensely intimate setting, but because of her professionalism and genuine enthusiasm it never felt awkward or scary. Amy is in constant communication with her clients prior to the shoot to ensure she fully understands what your goals are for the final product. Her knowledge and skill are evident during the shoot as she gently guides you through natural and flattering poses, which never turn out posey. She meets you where you are so that you feel an absolute sense of comfort and confidence while in front of her camera. Each time I leave a session with Amy, I feel as though I can conquer the world! Regardless of if I'm fully made up in hair, make up, and wardrobe, or bare-faced in my intimates, there is nothing but fire in my veins anticipating what images rest in her care. Amy's skill in capturing her clients to their souls is what I cherish most about my photos from her. Seeing my mother, my daughter, and myself in such truth is why I am a firm believer now. Amy wants us to "Exist in photos" and the way she helps with that is why my photos don't just end up on a hard drive anymore. Now I excitedly order prints to proudly display in my home, as well as give them as gifts to my family to display in theirs. I am blessed to have photographs that I will be able to pass to my children and grandchildren, and beyond. I am so thankful I trusted that friend years ago, because now I not only have a very talented, trusted photographer, but I also have a dear friend in Amy. I can absolutely say, without doubt, Amy can do it all, and you will want her to photograph you again.

The photographer showed me a couple pictures she took as we went along and they looked great! Id been trying hard on my diet for my wedding and i left feeling like maybe i didnt need to push so hard that maybe i was pretty gorgeous already. Unfortunately as soon as i got to the review meeting i was completely deflated. The couple pictures i was shown during the shoot vs what i viewed after were very different. I thought she had been getting amazing angles and when i saw them at the review i realized that was very much not the case.any were like.. wow couldnt have been a worse angle for that shot. I went from 200 photos to 24 that were bare-able in less than 5 minutes and im not overly hard on myself. It made me feel like i needed to diet twice as hard now because of it :(. I was really surprised the photographer didnt fix my hair in so many of them when it looked obviously a mess and she didnt get me from a good angle in many of them. That being said, I did find a couple pictures i ended up buying cause they came with my groupon and werent too bad, but man... i was so disappointed. I gave them a 4/5 because the shoot itself was so uplifting and fun and easy, the prices are very reasonable compared to so many other companies, and the customer service was great. I would recommend but be prepared to need to pay for the upgraded touchups... they get you with that. I couldnt give the full 5 because i was so disappointed in the pictures themselves. I feel like they could have easily taken pictures at a better angle and let me know my hair looked all messed up in a bad way (cause there is a good messy- this wasnt it). It wasnt sexy.. and now i also dont feel very sexy. You get what you pay for so 4/5 it is.

I was so excited during my viewing appointment and then my jaw dropped when I heard the price for 30 something photos. They said we could do a payment plan, at this rate I might have the photos by next valentine's day. While that was very disappointing, I loved the experience and photos so much I was still riding the high of all the excitement. Sadly, I lost my job due to COVID and am not able to make the $300 monthly scheduled payment, so I call in and ask to put it on hold and they tell me I must pay at least a minimum of $50 per month. This upset me deeply, I have rent to pay and while this was supposed to be a fun surprise it's not my top priority right now. I'm sad I've invested so much money into something that feels like there's no gain. I'm not excited anymore
